Abstract
Description
[0001] REAR DOOR OR COVER FOR TRAILER
[0002] Field of the Invention
[0003] The invention relates to angled closing rear doors or covers used in the rear area of the vehicle in trailer and semi-trailer type trailer vehicles.
[0004] In particular, the invention relates to the rear door or cover, in which the number of rear door or cover profiles, is reduced by commonizing the profile types and the strength is increased by strengthening the shape bond at the insertion points at the junction of the profiles.
[0005] State of the Art
[0006] In trailer and semi-trailer type trailer vehicles, angled closing type rear doors or covers are used in the rear area of the vehicle. Loading and unloading of the trailer vehicle is done with these doors or covers that open and close.
[0007] In the state of the art, the rear door or cover used in trailer vehicles is basically assembled by interlocking six profiles, and the high cost of joining the said profiles and the total cost of the profiles consumed create a negative situation. The profiles in question are of various types, including door lock profiles and door intermediate profiles.
[0008] The door lock profile has a square section that serves to support the door lock shaft, but there is no element of the lock shaft within this section. Therefore, since the square section width is large, the door lock shaft rotates freely (rotates without bearing) within the section. Because the shaft rotates without bearing, the door shaft rotates in an area with too much space, and this causes problems such as noise, the latch lock not gripping in the desired direction, etc. On the other hand, the tab height in the connection of the door profiles in the state of the art is very short. For this reason, the shape bond between the profiles is not strong enough and the profiles experience separation problems. For this reason, in the state of the art, there is a need for a rear door or cover component in trailer vehicles that has increased strength when combined with each other, is assembled with a single type of profile and eliminates the problems experienced in the bearing of the door lock shaft.
[0009] The document numbered TR2008 / 06024 can be cited as an example of the state of the art in the literature research. The document in question relates to the structuring of the Trailer rear cover hinge system. In the abovementioned invention, a hinge is explained that is positioned at certain intervals on the sides of the said doors, which enables the doors to be opened and closed by connecting them to the saddle side plate at the rear of the trailer. The door that is connected to the saddle side plate by means of a hinge is generally a traditional door type. On this door, there is no mention of solutions to the problems experienced in the state of the art.
[0010] As a result, the aforementioned problems and the inadequacy of the existing solutions, it became necessary to carry out an improvement in the relevant technical field.
[0011] Purpose of the Invention
[0012] The invention relates to a rear door or cover for trailer which eliminates the abovementioned disadvantages and brings new advantages to the relevant technical field.
[0013] The main purpose of the invention is to provide a rear door or cover that eliminates the door intermediate profile by using a single type of profile and reduces the number of profiles by making the profile types common.
[0014] The purpose of the invention is to provide a rear door or cover that prevents noise and eliminates beak grip problems by limiting the free-flowing rotation movement of the lock shaft within the profile by means of bearing protrusions in the shaft bearing section within the profile of the door lock shaft.
[0015] Another purpose of the invention is to provide a rear door or cover whose connection structure is strengthened by increasing the height of the connection tabs at the profile connection points where the profiles are connected to each other, ensuring that the profiles fit tightly together. Another purpose of the invention is to produce a rear door or cover that reduces the workmanship required for joining the profiles and the total cost of the profiles consumed.
[0016] Another purpose of the invention is to provide a rear door or cover whose surface strength is increased with the help of the profile surface cut-out on the profile surface.
[0017] Another purpose of the invention is to provide a rear door or cover that can be applied detachably or permanently to all road vehicles including trailers or semi-trailers and tractors.
[0018] In order to fulfil all the purposes mentioned above and which can be derived from the detailed explanation, the invention is a rear door or cover that is used in the rear part of the vehicle in trailer and semi-trailer type trailer vehicles carrying loads on the highways and comprises a hinge profile that is connected to the hinges in the rear part of the trailer or semi-trailer, comprising;
[0019] door or cover profile, which is connected to each other by means of a male profile connection tab on one side and a female profile connection tab on the other side by means of a tight fit and is attached to the hinge profile
[0020] - a shaft bearing section located on the door or cover profile, which comprise the lock shaft that enables the rear door or cover to be locked by passing into the lock slot located in the rear area of the trailer or semi-trailer via the latch lock, - bearing protrusion located on the inner edge surfaces of the shaft bearing section, which enables the lock shaft to be fixed to the shaft bearing section in a way that it can rotate.
[0021] The structural and characteristic features of the present invention will be understood clearly by the following figures and the detailed description made with reference to these figures. Therefore the evaluation shall be made by taking these figures and the detailed description into consideration.
