Gel-like oral composition

[0001] This invention relates to a gel-like oral composition containing vitamin B1 or its derivatives and vitamin C. More specifically, it relates to a gel-like composition in which the unpleasant odor that occurs when vitamin B1 or its derivatives and vitamin C are contained simultaneously is reduced, and which can be applied in the fields of pharmaceuticals, quasi-drugs, and food products.

[0002] Vitamin B1 or its derivatives, and vitamin C or its derivatives are known for various medicinal effects, such as maintaining the health of the skin and mucous membranes and relieving fatigue, and are widely used in pharmaceuticals, quasi-drugs, and foods. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a composition in which the unpleasant odor derived from simultaneously containing vitamin B1 or its derivative (hereinafter sometimes also referred to as "vitamin B1 group") and vitamin C in a gelled oral composition containing a higher concentration of vitamin B1 or its derivative and vitamin C than before is reduced.
