The display device (200) comprises a display panel (210); and a first driving circuit (220), which is electrically connected to the display panel (210), a first power supply trace (vgh1) and a second power supply trace (vgh2), wherein the first driving circuit (220) comprises M shift registers, and a gating circuit of an m-th shift register is electrically connected to an output end of a cascade circuit of an (m-1)-th stage of shift register; the first power supply trace (vgh1) is electrically connected to a cascade circuit of odd-numbered stages of shift registers among the M shift registers, and the second power supply trace (vgh2) is electrically connected to a cascade circuit of even-numbered stages of shift registers among the M shift registers; a cascade circuit of the M shift registers outputs M cascade signals on the basis of a first power supply voltage (VGH1) and a second power supply voltage (VGH2); and a gating circuit of the m-th shift register outputs a first scanning signal on the basis of a gating signal under the control of a cascade signal outputted by the (m-1)-th stage of shift register. A cascade signal controls the writing of a gating signal into a gating circuit, and the gating signal controls the level of a first scanning signal.
