[0001] The present disclosure relates to a compressor, a refrigeration device, and a method for manufacturing a compressor.
[0002] Patent Document 1 discloses a compressor in which an accumulator is joined to a support base by resistance welding a support base (mounting bracket) provided on the side surface of the compressor body and the accumulator.
[0003] U.S. Patent No. 5,850,743
[0004] Here, when the accumulator and the support base are joined to each other only by resistance welding with low joint strength, the support rigidity of the accumulator may become low, and there is a possibility that the vibration of the accumulator cannot be suppressed.
[0005] An object of the present disclosure is to increase the support rigidity of the accumulator and suppress the vibration of the accumulator.
[0006] A first aspect of the present disclosure includes a compressor body (11), a support base (30) provided on the side surface of the compressor body (11), and an accumulator (20) attached to the support base (30) so as to face the support surface (30a) of the support base (30). The support surface (30a) of the support base (30) and the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20) are joined to each other by brazing in a surface contact state.
[0007] In the first aspect, by brazing the support surface (30a) of the support base (30) and the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20) in a surface contact state, the support rigidity of the accumulator (20) can be increased, and the vibration of the accumulator (20) can be suppressed.
[0008] A second aspect of the present disclosure is the compressor according to the first aspect, in which the support surface (30a) of the support base (30) and the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20) are joined to each other at one or more spot welds (34) formed by resistance welding.
[0009] In the second embodiment, the spot welds (34) can reduce variations in the gap between the support surface (30a) of the support base (30) and the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20), thereby increasing the support rigidity of the accumulator (20).
[0010] A third aspect of the present disclosure is a compressor according to the first or second aspect, wherein the compressor body (11) and the support base (30) are joined to each other by welding.
[0011] In the third embodiment, welding can be used to increase the joint strength between the compressor body (11) and the support base (30).
[0012] A fourth aspect of this disclosure is a refrigeration system comprising a compressor (10) of any one of the first to third aspects.
[0013] In a fourth embodiment, a refrigeration system equipped with a compressor (10) can be provided.
[0014] A fifth aspect of the present disclosure is a method for manufacturing a compressor, comprising the steps of: positioning an accumulator (20) facing a support surface (30a) of a support base (30) provided on the side of a compressor body (11); joining the support surface (30a) of the support base (30) and the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20) to each other by one or more spot welds (34) formed by resistance welding; and joining the support surface (30a) of the support base (30) and the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20) to each other by brazing while they are in surface contact.
[0015] In the fifth embodiment, by reducing the variation in the gap between the support surface (30a) of the support base (30) and the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20) using spot welds (34), brazing is performed by impregnating the gap between the support surface (30a) of the support base (30) and the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20) with brazing material (40), thereby suppressing variations in joint strength and increasing the support rigidity of the accumulator (20).
[0016] Figure 1 is a refrigerant circuit diagram showing the configuration of the refrigeration system of this embodiment. Figure 2 is a side view showing the configuration of the compressor. Figure 3 is a plan cross-sectional view showing the configuration of the compressor. Figure 4 is a plan cross-sectional view showing the accumulator's opposing surface facing the support surface of the support base. Figure 5 is a plan cross-sectional view showing the accumulator being resistance-welded to the support surface of the support base. Figure 6 is a plan cross-sectional view showing the support surface of the support base and the opposing surface of the accumulator being brazed together.
[0017] As shown in Figure 1, the compressor (10) is installed in the refrigeration unit (1). The refrigeration unit (1) has a refrigerant circuit (1a) filled with refrigerant. The refrigerant circuit (1a) has a compressor (10), a heat sink (3), a pressure reducing mechanism (4), and an evaporator (5). The pressure reducing mechanism (4) is, for example, an expansion valve. The refrigerant circuit (1a) performs a vapor compression type refrigeration cycle.
[0018] The refrigeration system (1) is an air conditioning system. The air conditioning system may be a cooling-only unit, a heating-only unit, or an air conditioning system that switches between cooling and heating. In this case, the air conditioning system has a switching mechanism (e.g., a four-way switching valve) that switches the direction of refrigerant circulation. The refrigeration system (1) may also be a water heater, a chiller unit, a cooling system that cools the air inside a storage area, etc. The cooling system cools the air inside a refrigerator, freezer, container, etc.
[0019] <Compressor Body> As shown in Figure 2, the compressor (10) comprises a compressor body (11), an accumulator (20), and a support base (30). The support base (30) supports the accumulator (20) on the compressor body (11). The support base (30) is joined to the compressor body (11) and the accumulator (20). The configuration of the support base (30) will be described later.
[0020] The compressor body (11) comprises a casing (12), a drive mechanism (50), and a compression mechanism (55). The drive mechanism (50) and the compression mechanism (55) are housed inside the casing (12).
[0021] The casing (12) is a vertically elongated cylindrical sealed container. The first suction pipe (13) and the second suction pipe (14) are fixed through the body of the casing (12). The discharge pipe (15) is fixed through the top of the casing (12).
[0022] The drive mechanism (50) includes a motor (51) and a drive shaft (54). The motor (51) includes a stator (52) and a rotor (53). The drive shaft (54) is fixed inside the axial center of the rotor (53). When the motor (51) is energized, the drive shaft (54) is rotated together with the rotor (53).
[0023] The compression mechanism (55) is, for example, a two-cylinder rotary fluid machine. The compression mechanism (55) is located below the motor (51). The compression mechanism (55) is connected to the drive shaft (54). The rotational drive of the drive shaft (54) compresses the refrigerant in the compression mechanism (55).
[0024] <Accumulator> An accumulator (20) is connected to the upstream side of the compressor body (11). The accumulator (20) temporarily stores the refrigerant before it is drawn into the compressor body (11) and separates the liquid refrigerant and oil contained in the gaseous refrigerant into gas and liquid forms.
[0025] The accumulator (20) includes a sealed container (21), an inlet pipe (22), a first outlet pipe (23), and a second outlet pipe (24). The inlet pipe (22) allows refrigerant to flow into the sealed container (21). The first outlet pipe (23) and the second outlet pipe (24) allow refrigerant to flow out of the sealed container (21).
[0026] The sealed container (21) is composed of a vertically elongated cylindrical member. An inlet pipe (22) is connected to the upper part of the sealed container (21). A first outlet pipe (23) and a second outlet pipe (24) are connected to the lower part of the sealed container (21). The upper ends of the first outlet pipe (23) and the second outlet pipe (24) extend upward inside the sealed container (21) and open at a position near the top of the internal space of the sealed container (21).
[0027] The lower end of the first outlet pipe (23) extends downward from the lower end of the sealed container (21) and then bends toward the first suction pipe (13) of the compressor body (11) and connects to the first suction pipe (13). The lower end of the second outlet pipe (24) extends downward from the lower end of the sealed container (21) and then bends toward the second suction pipe (14) of the compressor body (11) and connects to the second suction pipe (14).
[0028] <Support Base> As shown in Figure 3, the support base (30) is provided on the side of the compressor body (11). The support base (30) has a base portion (31), a pair of arm portions (32), and a fixing portion (33).
[0029] The base portion (31) is made up of a plate-shaped member. The base portion (31) is provided with a support surface (30a). The accumulator (20) is attached to the support base (30) facing the support surface (30a) of the base portion (31).
[0030] The pair of arms (32) are formed by bending both ends of the base (31) in the circumferential direction. The arms (32) extend toward the side of the compressor body (11).
[0031] The fixing part (33) is provided at the tip of the arm part (32). The compressor body (11) and the support base (30) are joined to each other by welding. Specifically, the fixing part (33) is welded to the side of the compressor body (11) by providing a weld bead (35) along the vertical direction of the fixing part (33).
[0032] Here, the support surface (30a) of the support base (30) and the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20) are joined to each other by brazing. In addition, the support surface (30a) of the support base (30) and the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20) are joined to each other by one or more spot welds (34) formed by resistance welding. In the example shown in Figure 3, two spot welds (34) are provided.
[0033] <Method of Manufacturing the Compressor> The procedure for joining the accumulator (20) to the support base (30) will be described below. As shown in Figure 4, the process of placing the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20) against the support surface (30a) of the support base (30) is performed. Here, the base portion (31) of the support base (30) is provided with a bulge portion (38) that bulges out from the support surface (30a) toward the accumulator (20). The bulge portion (38) is the part that becomes the spot weld portion (34) when resistance welding the support base (30) and the accumulator (20).
[0034] As shown in Figure 5, the process involves joining the support surface (30a) of the support base (30) and the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20) by one or more spot welds (34) formed by resistance welding. Specifically, the bulging portion (38) of the support base (30) shown in Figure 4 is pressed against the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20), and a concentrated current is passed through the bulging portion (38) to melt and solidify it. As a result, the support base (30) and the accumulator (20) are joined to each other by spot welds (34).
[0035] As shown in Figure 6, the support surface (30a) of the support base (30) and the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20) are joined together by brazing. Specifically, the support base (30) and the accumulator (20) are brazed together by impregnating the gap between the support surface (30a) of the support base (30) and the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20).
[0036] - Effects of the Embodiment - According to this embodiment, by brazing, the support surface (30a) of the support base (30) and the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20) are joined to each other in a state of surface contact, thereby increasing the support rigidity of the accumulator (20) and suppressing vibration of the accumulator (20).
[0037] According to this embodiment, the spot welds (34) reduce variations in the gap between the support surface (30a) of the support base (30) and the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20), thereby increasing the support rigidity of the accumulator (20).
[0038] According to this embodiment, welding can be used to increase the joint strength between the compressor body (11) and the support base (30).
[0039] According to this embodiment, a refrigeration system equipped with a compressor (10) can be provided.
[0040] According to this embodiment, by reducing the variation in the gap between the support surface (30a) of the support base (30) and the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20) using spot welds (34), brazing is performed by impregnating the gap between the support surface (30a) of the support base (30) and the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20) with brazing material (40), thereby suppressing variations in joint strength and increasing the support rigidity of the accumulator (20).
[0041] Furthermore, the brazing material (40) seals the gap between the support surface (30a) of the support base (30) and the opposing surface (20a) of the accumulator (20), thereby preventing water from entering this gap.
