Description

Sliding folding parasol

[0001] The present invention relates to a foldable parasol, and more specifically, to a sliding foldable parasol in which the length of the frame on which the awning is installed can be adjusted to make movement and storage easier.

[0002] Generally, parasols are widely used at beaches, shops, or fishing spots as items for resting in the shade created by blocking sunlight during the summer or to shelter from rain.

[0003] FIG. 1 illustrates a conventional parasol, which has a structure in which a number of ribs (2) are hinge-connected to the upper part of a support post (1), and the ribs (2) are supported by respective support ribs (4) attached to a slider (3) on the outside of the support post (1), and a fabric awning (5) is connected to the upper part of the ribs (2).

[0004] However, these conventional parasols were manufactured in large sizes, making them difficult to store and transport, and even when folded, they were too large to be loaded into regular passenger cars.

[0005] To solve these problems, Public Utility Model Publication No. 20-2018-0000102 provides a foldable parasol in which the length of the parasol pole is formed short for easy portability and storage, and the folding ribs are folded relative to the parasol ribs to reduce the overall size of the parasol during storage.

[0006] However, since these foldable parasols are composed of a complex structure, they are not only uneconomical due to increased manufacturing and product costs, but also have the problem of easily deforming or breaking due to the complex operation process, as multiple connecting ribs and support ribs must be rotated to fold and unfold them.

[0007] The present invention aims to solve the aforementioned problems by providing a sliding foldable parasol that is improved to facilitate movement and storage by adjusting the length, by configuring the main frame or the movable frame so that it can be pulled out or inserted.

[0008] In addition, another objective of the present invention is to provide an improved sliding foldable parasol that is economical as it can be manufactured at a low cost through a simple configuration and operation, and has an extended lifespan as there is no concern about deformation or damage.

[0009] The sliding folding parasol according to the present invention is a parasol in which a plurality of main frames, each having a sunshade attached to the upper side of a hub attached to the upper side of a support post, are radially connected, and a support frame is connected between the main frames and the support post. A movable frame is connected to the end of the main frame by a second fixing member, and the end of the movable frame and the main frame are respectively inserted and installed inside the main frame and the movable frame. When the parasol is unfolded, the main frame and the movable frame are respectively pulled out from the movable frame and the main frame to extend their length, and when the parasol is folded, they are respectively inserted into the movable frame and the main frame to shorten their length.

[0010] According to the sliding folding parasol of the present invention, by shortening the length of the main frame and installing a movable frame at the end of the main frame, when the parasol is opened, the main frame or the movable frame is pulled out to extend the length, and when the parasol is folded, the main frame or the movable frame is inserted to shorten the length, thereby making movement and storage more convenient.

[0011] In addition, since the length of the main frame or movable frame is adjusted by sliding, there is no risk of deformation or damage due to the simple structure, and it offers greater economic benefits as it can be manufactured at a low cost.

[0020] Fig. 4

[0021] A preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

[0022] As shown in FIG. 2, the sliding folding parasol of the present invention is equipped with a support (10) made of a metal pipe, and a hub (11) made of synthetic resin is connected to the upper side of the support (10), and a plurality of main frames (20) on which a sunshade is installed are connected radially to the hub (11).

[0023] The above support (10) is configured to be able to extend or shorten its length to facilitate movement and storage, and one side of the main frame (20) is connected to the hub (11) so as to be able to rotate up and down, and the other side of the main frame (20) is connected to a movable frame (30) made of a pipe.

[0024] The main frame (20) is configured to be inserted into the inside of the movable frame (30), and one side of the support frame (50) that supports the load of the main frame (20) is connected to the movable frame (30) so as to be rotatable, and the other side of the support frame (50) is connected to a slider (40) connected to the support column (10) so as to be rotatable up and down.

[0025] The above slider (40) is coupled to the lower side of the hub (11) and can move up and down along the support (10), and a release button (41) is coupled to the outer surface of the slider (40) to fix or release the slider (40) in a groove formed in the support (10).

[0026]

[0027] Meanwhile, between the main frame (20) and the support frame (50), an auxiliary frame (60) is coupled to reinforce the support frame (50) which supports the load of the main frame (20). One side of the auxiliary frame (60) is rotatably coupled to a first fixing member (21) coupled to the main frame (20), and the other side of the auxiliary frame (60) is rotatably coupled to a third fixing member (51) coupled to the support frame (50).

[0028] A second fixing member (31) is connected between the main frame (20) and the movable frame (30), and a support frame (50) is connected to the second fixing member (31) so that it can rotate.

[0029] As shown in FIG. 3, the end of the main frame (20) passes through the second fixing member (31) and is maintained in a state where it is inserted into the movable frame (30), which represents the state where the parasol of the present invention is unfolded.

[0030]

[0031] As shown in FIG. 4, when the slider (40) of the sliding folding parasol of the present invention configured in this way is released by pressing the release button (41) of the slider (40), the slider (40) moves downward along the support (10) due to the load of the frame and the awning.

[0032] At this time, the support frame (50) and the auxiliary frame (60) rotate downward to come close to the support column (10), and accordingly, the main frame (20) rotates downward, and the movable frame (30) moves upward by sliding along the main frame (20).

[0033] Therefore, the main frame (20) is inserted deeper into the inner side of the movable frame (30), so that when the parasol is folded, the length of the main frame (20) that installs the sunshade is reduced, making it easy to move and store.

[0034] That is, the parasol of the present invention can reduce its volume by being reduced by the length (A) of the main frame (20) inserted into the movable frame (30) as shown in FIG. 5, and when the parasol is unfolded again, the movable frame (30) slides outward so that the length of the main frame (20) is extended, thereby allowing the use of a sunshade of the same size as the existing one.

[0035]

[0036] The present invention can simplify the coupling structure of the auxiliary frame (60) or change the operation process. For example, as shown in FIG. 6, the first fixing member (21) and the third fixing member (51) can be omitted and the configuration can be simplified by directly coupling to the main frame (20) and the support frame (50) so as to be rotatable.

[0037] In addition, as shown in FIG. 7, one side may be connected to the third fixing member (51) of the support frame (50), and the other side may be connected to the auxiliary hub (12) fixed between the hub (11) and the slider (40) to support the load of the parasol.

[0038]

[0039] In addition, as shown in FIG. 8, the present invention may be configured such that the main frame (20a) is made of a pipe, and the moving frame (30a) is inserted into or withdrawn from the inside of the main frame (20a) by sliding.

[0040] At this time, a cut portion (22) is formed in the longitudinal direction on the lower side of the main frame (20a) so that a second fixing member (31a) can be inserted and moved.

[0041]

[0042] Accordingly, the present invention shortens the length of the main frame (20)(20a) and connects it, and installs a movable frame (30)(30a) at the end of the main frame (20)(20a). When the parasol is unfolded, the main frame (20) or the movable frame (30a) is pulled out to extend the length, and when the parasol is folded, the main frame (20) or the movable frame (30a) is inserted to shorten the length, thereby making movement and storage more convenient.

[0043] In addition, the length adjustment of the main frame (20) or the movable frame (30a) is achieved by sliding movement, so there is no risk of deformation or damage due to the simple configuration, and it can be manufactured at a low cost, thus providing a more economical effect.
