This sensor management system comprises: an area information generation unit that uses a captured image and basic information to generate area information which is necessary for setting a monitoring area 11; a display unit 22 that displays the monitoring area 11 as an image on the basis of the area information; and a monitoring area setting unit that sets the monitoring area 11 in a sensor on the basis of the area information, wherein the sensor information acquisition unit acquires the relative positional relation between the sensor and a specific indicator M1 shown in the captured image, the area information generation unit generates the area information with the specific indicator M1 as a reference, and the monitoring area setting unit uses the relative positional relation to perform coordinate conversion of the area information and generate converted area information and sets the monitoring area 11 in the sensor on the basis of the converted area information.
