Abstract
Description
[0001] DESCRIPTION
[0002] Mobile vehicle charging unit
[0003] FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0004] The present invention generally relates to charging units that enable charging of personal mobile vehicles.
[0005] In particular, the present invention relates to a mobile vehicle charging unit for connecting and charging light electric vehicles, such as electric scooters and electric bicycles, which provides a combination of secure connection, charging and locking functions for said mobile vehicles.
[0006] STATE OF THE ART
[0007] Nowadays, the use of personal transportation vehicles such as battery-powered scooters and electric bicycles is increasing day by day. The vehicles mentioned can be used for short distances as well as long distances. For this reason, these vehicles need to be charged in outdoor environments.
[0008] In the state of the art, there are charging units used to charge electric mobile transportation vehicles in outdoor environments. However, these charging units have some shortcomings in terms of security and ease of use in public areas. Existing charging units are connected to battery vehicles with manual connection and mechanical locking. These units may be insufficient to prevent unauthorized persons from releasing vehicles. However, user errors frequently occur in charging units that require manual electrical connection. This situation causes problems such as not starting the charging process due to incorrect connection. In addition, existing charging units are mostly compatible with certain vehicle types and are insufficient to provide a universal solution for mobility vehicles of different sizes and structures. As a result of these deficiencies, the inability to safely connect electric vehicles to charging stations stands out as the most basic technical problem. This both creates security risks and causes the charging process to not occur properly. In the known state of the art, some documents can be found in research on the subject. Document No. TR2022 / 000791 relate to an e-scooter charging station created for the placement of scooters in public transport vehicles to enable scooter transportation and charging at the same time. The charging station mentioned in this document secures the scooter with a belt lock and the scooter is charged with a charging cable. For this reason, it is likely that the problems mentioned in the state of the art will be experienced in this charging station configuration.
[0009] As a result, improvements are being made in the units to be used in the charging of battery-powered mobile vehicles, so there is a need for new structures that will eliminate the disadvantages mentioned above and bring solutions to existing systems.
[0010] OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0011] The present invention relates to an electric mobile vehicle charging unit which fulfils the abovementioned requirements, eliminates all disadvantages and brings some additional advantages.
[0012] The main object of the present invention is to ensure that electric mobile vehicles can be safely parked and charged in public areas.
[0013] One object of the present invention is to ensure that all types of electric mobile vehicles are both charged and locked and parked using a single universal lock and charging system.
[0014] The present invention which aims to realize all the advantages mentioned above and which can be understood from the detailed explanation below, relates to a charging unit that allows charging of electric mobile transportation vehicles, characterized by obtaining a structure comprising;
[0015] • mobile vehicle adapter that is mounted on a mobile transportation vehicle and has a locking hook that provides the locking function and a charging plate that provides the charging function, • a charging case, which is located at the charging station, has the following; o hook opening, which allows positioning of the locking hook o drive element that provides the necessary movement for locking and releasing the locking hook, o hook locking arm, which provides the locking hook to be held or released with the drive it receives from the drive element, and has a suitable form for holding the locking hook and o charging element that enables charging by connecting to the charging plate.
[0016] The structural and characteristic features of the present invention will be understood clearly by the following drawings and the detailed description made with reference to these drawings. Therefore the evaluation shall be made by taking these figures and the detailed description into consideration.

[0032] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0033] In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the charging unit is described only for clarifying the subject matter in a manner such that no limiting effect is created.
[0034] The invention is a charging unit that allows charging of electric mobile transportation vehicles, characterized by comprising;
[0035] • mobile vehicle adapter (20) that is mounted on a mobile transportation vehicle and has a locking hook (21) that provides the locking function and a charging plate (22) that provides the charging function,
[0036] • a charging case (10), which is located at the charging station, has the following, o hook opening (16), which allows positioning of the locking hook (21), o drive element (12) that provides the necessary movement for locking and releasing the locking hook (21), o hook locking arm (14), which provides the locking hook (12) to be held or released with the drive it receives from the drive element (21), and has a suitable form for holding the locking hook (21) and o charging element (15) that enables charging by connecting to the charging plate (22).
[0037] Figure 1 shows a general view of the inventive charging unit, Figure 2 shows a detailed view of the charging case (10) and Figure 3 shows a detailed view of the mobile vehicle adapter (20). In its most general form, said charging unit consists of a charging case (10) located at the charging station and a mobile vehicle adapter (20) connected to the mobile vehicle. There is a locking hook (21) on the mobile vehicle adapter (20) that will enter the charging case (10) and enable the locking function. There are conductive charging plates (22) on the body of the said locking hook (21), which enable the charging function to occur. The locking hook (21) passes into a hook opening (16) on the charging case (10). In said hook opening (16), there is a hook locking arm (14) that enables the locking hook (21) to be held and released. The movement of the locking arm (14) is provided by the drive element (12) located inside the charging case (10). Preferably, there is a locking drive arm (13) that enables the movement to be transferred between the drive element (12) and the hook locking arm (14). There are charging elements (15), preferably spark plugs, on both sides of the hook opening (16) entrance in the charging case (10). By locking the locking hook (21), the charging plates (22) on its body remain between the said charging elements (15). In this way, the charging process is ensured.
[0038] There is a case mouth (11) in the hook opening (16) of the charging case (10). Said case mouth (11) guides the locking hook (21) and ensures that the mobile vehicle adapter (20) is recognized and the locking and charging functions are performed. To ensure this, there is a reader element on the case mouth (11) and a label on the mobile vehicle adapter (20). Preferably, the reader element located on the case mouth (11) is an RFID tag reader and the label on the mobile vehicle adapter (20) is an RFID tag. If the reader element on the case mouth (11) recognizes the label on the mobile vehicle adapter (20), the locking process takes place and the charging process begins. If the reader element on the case opening (11) does not recognize the label on the mobile vehicle adapter (20), the locking mechanism inside the charging case pushes the mobile vehicle adapter (20) out by means of the locking hook (21).
