Abstract

Provided are a rotation mechanism, a generator, and a prime mover capable of easily assisting rotation with a simple configuration. A rotation mechanism 1 comprises: a rotary shaft 10; a rotor 20 that rotates around the rotary shaft 10, has first-surface rotating magnetic bodies 21A-24A on a first rotation surface 20A side, and has second-surface rotating magnetic bodies 21B-24B on a second rotation surface 20B side; a first wall surface 40A having a plurality of first-surface divided wall surfaces 41A-43A in which first-surface wall surface magnetic bodies 31A-33A having the same polarity as the first-surface rotating magnetic bodies 21A-24A facing the first rotation surface 20A are disposed along the rotation direction R of the rotor 20, and the repulsive force between the first-surface rotating magnetic bodies 21A-24A and the first-surface wall surface magnetic bodies 31A-33A decreases from upstream to downstream in the rotation direction R of the rotor 20; and a second wall surface 40B having a plurality of second-surface divided wall surfaces 41B-43B in which second-surface wall surface magnetic bodies 31B-33B having the same polarity as the second-surface rotating magnetic bodies 21B-24B facing the second rotating surface 20B are disposed along the rotation direction of the rotor 20, and the repulsive force between the second-surface rotating magnetic bodies 21B-24B and the second-surface wall surface magnetic bodies 31B-33B decreases from upstream to downstream in the rotation direction.
