Abstract

The invention relates to a charging plug connector (1) for an electric or hybrid vehicle, having a locking mechanism (2) for locking and unlocking, which locking mechanism has an actuator (4) by means of which a movement can be carried out and which is connected to two galvanically interconnected contact elements (5, 6) in such a way that the movement of the actuator (4) during locking causes the contact elements (5, 6) to run along on a respective conductor track (7, 8) in one direction and the movement of the actuator (4) during unlocking causes the contact elements (5, 6) to move on the respective conductor track (7, 8) in the opposite direction on the same path as during locking, one of the two conductor tracks (8) is galvanically interrupted by means of a galvanic isolation (9), the contact element (6) running along on the conductor track (8) having the galvanic isolation (9) is provided with two mutually spaced contact surfaces (10) which establish the galvanic contact to the conductor track (8), and the contact surfaces (10) and the galvanic isolation (9) are geometrically designed in such a way that, when the contact element (6) having the two contact surfaces (10) runs along on the conductor track (8), if a contact surface (10) is not in galvanic contact with the conductor track (8) due to its position in the region of the galvanic isolation (9), the other contact surface (10) always has a position outside the galvanic isolation (9) on the conductor track (8) so that the other contact surface (10) is in galvanic contact with the conductor track (8). This provides a possible way of uninterruptedly monitoring the locking or unlocking process.
