Abstract
The main purpose of the present inventors is to provide a technique for suppressing inflammation, in particular, in aging tissues within the oral cavity. The present inventors have found that an oral composition containing at least one selected from the group consisting of β-glycyrrhetinic acid, glycyrrhizic acid, ascorbic acid, tocopherol nicotinate, tocopherol acetate, pyridoxine, cobalamin, retinol, retinol acetate, riboflavin, phylloquinone, calciferol, anthraquinone, menaquinone-4, and L-aspartic acid, and chemically acceptable salts thereof, quercetin, genistein, fisetin, nobiletin, kaempferol, apigenin, and naringenin, and glycosides thereof, and methyl hesperidin can suppress inflammation, in particular, in aging tissues within the oral cavity.
