Description

DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD FOR VEHICLE-MOUNTED GLASS OF VEHICLE AND VEHICLE-MOUNTED GLASS ASSEMBLYRELATED FIELD

[0001] The present disclosure relates to the technical field of vehicle control, and more specifically, to a display control method for vehicle-mounted glass of a vehicle, a vehicle-mounted glass assembly of a vehicle, a display system for vehicle-mounted glass of a vehicle, a vehicle including the vehicle-mounted glass assembly or the display system, a computer-readable storage medium, and a computer program product.BACKGROUND

[0002] With the vigorous development of intelligent cockpits, the demand for interaction between people and vehicles is also increasing. Information interaction is particularly important during human interaction with vehicles. Consequently, the demand for in-vehicle display functionalities within intelligent cockpits is growing rapidly. This has led to the emergence of various display solutions, such as large screens, multi-screen setups, smart surfaces, and Head-Up Displays (HUDs) , thereby providing vehicle users with enhanced informational support.

[0003] In the prior art, applications for displaying information on vehicle-mounted glass have already emerged. For example, vehicle-related information is displayed to the driver at a position on the front windshield corresponding to the driver’s position, or advertisements are displayed outward on the rear windshield, etc.SUMMARY

[0004] Although prior art solutions exist for displaying information on vehicle-mounted glass (e.g., on the front windshield or rear windshield) , they typically present information at a fixed position and with fixed brightness. The position or brightness does not adapt automatically when vehicle-related information and / or user’s position information meet (s) certain conditions. Consequently, these solutions can be inconvenient for the user in certain scenarios, and the user cannot obtain a nice driving and riding experience.

[0005] In view of the above technical problems, the solution of the present disclosure changes a zoom level of the displayed content in the display region of the vehicle-mounted glass, a display brightness of the display region, a size of the display region, and / or a position of the display region when environmental information of the vehicle and / or position information of a target object meet (s) a preset condition. This enhances the use flexibility of the vehicle-mounted glass across different scenarios, extends and strengthens its functionalities, augments the sense of technology in the display of the vehicle-mounted glass, thereby meeting user needs in more scenarios and improving the user’s driving and riding experience.

[0006] To this end, according to a first aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a display control method for a vehicle-mounted glass of a vehicle, including: step 101: acquiring environmental information of the vehicle and / or position information of a target object, where the target object is located outside the vehicle; step 102; determining whether the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meet (s) a preset condition; and step 103: changing, in response to the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meeting the preset condition, a zoom level of displayed content in a display region of the vehicle-mounted glass, a display brightness of the display region, a size of the display region, and / or a position of the display region, wherein the vehicle-mounted glass is displayed toward the outside of the vehicle.

[0045] Various exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Although the example methods, apparatus described below include software and / or firmware executed on hardware among other components, it should be noted that these examples are merely illustrative and should not be considered as limiting. For example, it is contemplated that any or all of the hardware, software, and firmware components could be implemented exclusively in hardware, exclusively in software, or in any combination of hardware and software. Thus, while exemplary methods and apparatus have been described below, those skilled in the art will readily appreciate that the examples provided are not intended to limit the manner in which such methods and apparatus are implemented.

[0046] In addition, the flowcharts and block diagrams in the drawings illustrate the architecture, functionality, and operation of possible implementations of methods and systems according to various embodiments of the present disclosure. It should also be noted that the functions noted in the blocks can occur out of the order noted in the figures. For example, two blocks shown in succession can, in fact, be executed substantially concurrently, or the blocks can sometimes be executed in the reverse order, depending upon the functionality involved. It will also be noted that each block of the flowcharts and / or block diagrams, and combinations of blocks in the flowcharts and / or block diagrams, can be implemented by special purpose hardware-based systems that perform the specified functions or acts, or combinations of special purpose hardware and computer instructions.

[0047] The terms “include” , “comprise” and similar terms used in the present disclosure are open terms, that is, “include / comprise but not limited to” , indicating that other content can also be included. The term “based on” is “based at least in part on” . The term “one embodiment” means “at least one embodiment” ; the term “another embodiment” means “at least one additional embodiment” ; and so forth.

[0048] In the present disclosure, expressions such as “first” and “second” are not used to limit the sequence and the number of components, unless otherwise specified.

[0049] In the present disclosure, the orientation or positional relationship indicated by the terms “upper” , “lower” , “front” , “rear” , “left” , “right” , “inner” , “outer” and the like is only for the convenience and simplification of the description, rather than indicating or implying that the device or element referred to must have a specific orientation, be constructed and operated in a specific orientation, and therefore cannot be understood as a limitation to the present disclosure.

[0050] In the present disclosure, the term “display region” refers to a region with a display function, which can play a role of display when needed. However, it does not mean that each of these display regions must display corresponding content, but it is determined according to actual application situations that the corresponding content is displayed when it needs to be displayed, and is not used for display when it does not need to be displayed.

[0051] In the present disclosure, the term “lateral direction” refers to a direction parallel to the ground where the vehicle is located, for example, a direction along the length of the body of the vehicle for a sidelite glass. The term “vertical direction” refers to a direction generally perpendicular to a lateral direction, i.e., a direction along the height of the body of the vehicle.

[0052] In addition, it should be understood that, for the vehicle, the vehicle-mounted glass can be a sidelite glass next to the driver’s seat or front passenger seat, or can be a sidelite glass next to a rear seat, or can be a front windshield or rear windshield.

[0053] As described above, the vehicle information display solution in the prior art usually can only display at a fixed position on the glass with a fixed brightness, and does not automatically change when environmental information of the vehicle and / or position information of the user meet (s) a certain condition, which can be inconvenient for the user in certain scenarios, and the user cannot obtain a nice driving and riding experience. In view of the current technical situation and corresponding technical problems, the solution of the present disclosure can change the zoom level of the displayed content in the display region of the vehicle-mounted glass, display brightness of the display region, size of the display region, and / or position of the display region when environmental information of the vehicle and / or position information of a target object meet (s) a preset condition, which augments the sense of technology in the display of the vehicle-mounted glass and improves the user’s driving and riding experience.

[0054] The technical solutions of the present disclosure will be described in detail below according to several embodiments. A display control method for vehicle-mounted glass of a vehicle according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is first described.

[0055] Referring first to FIG. 1, FIG. 1 shows a flowchart of a display control method for vehicle-mounted glass of a vehicle according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The display control method 100 can be performed by any single computing device or a combination of two or more computing devices, such as an independent control device, a system host of a vehicle, and / or a control device included in a vehicle-mounted glass assembly. The vehicle can be, for example, various types of vehicles such as a ride-hailing vehicle, a private vehicle, a taxi, a shared car, and a driverless vehicle.

[0056] In step 101, environmental information of a vehicle and / or position information of a target object are acquired. The target object is located outside the vehicle, which can be a driver or a passenger. The environmental information of the vehicle can include, for example, weather forecast information of a destination, real-time weather information of a current location of the vehicle, real-time environmental parameters in the vehicle, etc. The weather forecast information of the destination can include weather conditions (sunny / cloudy / overcast / rain / fog / haze) , sunrise and sunset time, air temperature, humidity, wind speed, air pollution index, air pressure, and the like when the target object arrives at the destination or in a future period of time at the destination (for example, a period during which the target object stays at the destination) . The real-time weather information can include real-time weather conditions (sunny / cloudy / overcast / rain / fog / haze) (for example, sensed by a sensor outside the vehicle) , ambient brightness (for example, illuminance) of the vehicle, air temperature outside the vehicle, humidity, wind speed, air pollution index, air pressure, and the like. The real-time environmental parameters can include temperature, humidity, air pollution index, brightness (e.g., illuminance) , smell, sound, etc. within the vehicle (e.g., sensed by sensors within the vehicle) . Advantageously, the environmental information of the vehicle includes ambient brightness (e.g., illuminance) of the vehicle, real-time weather conditions, atmospheric visibility outside the vehicle, and / or air pollution index outside the vehicle. The ambient brightness of the vehicle can be an overall ambient brightness outside the vehicle, for example, can be detected by an illuminance sensor installed outside the vehicle, or can be obtained by calculating an average value of a plurality of ambient brightness detected by a plurality of illuminance sensors installed outside the vehicle. The atmospheric visibility of the current location of the vehicle can be obtained from the Internet, or measured by a visibility meter. Of course, in addition to the information listed above, the environmental information of the vehicle can include any other suitable information. The position information of the target object can include a distance between the target object and the vehicle and an orientation of the target object relative to the vehicle. Advantageously, the distance between the target object and the vehicle can be a distance between the target object and a certain fixed part (such as an A-pillar, a B-pillar, a C-pillar, and a vehicle tail) on the vehicle, and the orientation of the target object relative to the vehicle can be an orientation of the target object relative to the certain fixed part; or the distance between the target object and the vehicle can be a distance between the target object and a geometric center of the vehicle, and the orientation of the target object relative to the vehicle can be an orientation of the target object relative to the geometric center.

[0057] Acquiring one or both of the environmental information of the vehicle and the position information of the target object can be determined according to different target objects and application scenarios. When acquiring the environmental information of the vehicle, the type of the environmental information of the vehicle to be acquired can also be determined according to different target objects and application scenarios. For example, if the target object is a private vehicle owner, the real-time weather information of the current location of the vehicle and the position information of the driver can be acquired; if the target object is a passenger of a ride-hailing vehicle, weather forecast information of the destination and the position information of the passenger can be acquired, and so on.

[0058] The aforesaid information can be acquired from an internal or external memory that stores such information, or the aforesaid information can be received from other devices. For example, if weather forecast information of a destination in a future period of time is pre-stored in a memory of a system host of a vehicle, then the information can be directly read from the memory; weather forecast information of the destination is acquired from the Internet via an on-board networked device (such as a T-BOX) ; real-time weather information of a current location of the vehicle sensed in real time is received from a sensor (such as a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, an air quality sensor, an illuminance sensor, etc. ) installed outside the vehicle; real-time environmental parameters in the vehicle sensed in real time are received from a sensor (such as a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, an air quality sensor, an illuminance sensor, etc. ) installed inside the vehicle; and position information of a target object located outside the vehicle is acquired from a position detection unit (such as an ultrasonic detection unit or an electromagnetic wave detection unit (such as a Bluetooth unit, a WIFI unit or an RFID unit) installed on the vehicle or through an image recognition technology, including an orientation and a distance of the target object relative to a certain fixed part on the vehicle or a geometric center of the vehicle.

[0059] In some embodiments, an on-board networked device such as a T-BOX is installed in the vehicle. The on-board networked device can acquire weather forecast information of the destination in a future period of time from the Internet when the vehicle is started or at a certain frequency (such as every hour) or in response to a received instruction. The display control device performing the display control method 100 can actively acquire or passively receive the weather forecast information acquired by the on-board networked device from the on-board networked device. After actively acquiring or passively receiving the weather forecast information, the display control device can directly use the information, or can store the information in a memory for subsequent use.

[0060] In some embodiments, sensors such as temperature sensors and light illuminance sensors are mounted at one or more locations within the vehicle and / or outside the vehicle. These sensors can detect the real-time environmental parameters in the vehicle and / or real-time weather information of the current location of the vehicle at a certain frequency or in response to received instructions. The display control device performing the display control method 100 can actively acquire or passively receive the real-time environmental parameters in the vehicle and / or real-time weather information of the current location of the vehicle detected by the sensors from the sensors. After actively acquiring or passively receiving the real-time environmental parameters in the vehicle and / or the real-time weather information of the current location of the vehicle, the display control device can directly use the information, or can store the information in a memory for subsequent use.

[0061] In some embodiments, a position detection unit such as an ultrasonic detection unit or an electromagnetic wave detection unit is mounted outside the vehicle. The position detection unit can communicate with an electronic device (such as a vehicle key or a mobile phone) carried by the target object, and perform positioning calculation based on a signal received from the electronic device to obtain position information of the target object. For example, the position detection unit can include at least two sensors mounted at different positions on the vehicle (for example, one is mounted on the rear of the vehicle and the other is mounted on the B pillar) , and a corresponding sensor is mounted on the electronic device. When the electronic device carried by the user enters a preset range (such as ten meters) , the position detection unit is triggered to enter a working state, at least two sensors on the vehicle respectively exchange signals with the sensor of the electronic device, and the position detection unit performs positioning calculation based on the received signals (such as the strength of the signals, the time difference and / or phase difference of the received signals, etc. ) to obtain the position information of the target object. For the position information of the target object, the frequency of acquiring the position information of the target object can be determined according to the moving speed of the target object, for example, every 1 second. The display control device performing the display control method 100 can actively acquire or passively receive the position information of the target object acquired by the position detection unit from the position detection unit. After actively acquiring or passively receiving the position information of the target object, the display control device can directly use the information, or can store the information in a memory for subsequent use.

[0062] In some embodiments, an image recognition device such as a camera is mounted outside the vehicle. The image recognition device can recognize the identity of the target object and determine the position information of the target object. The identity of the target object can include a driver or a passenger. The configuration information of the target object can be acquired from the Internet or other sources, or pre-stored on the vehicle. The identity of the target object can be identified and the position information of the target object can be determined based on the configuration information. For example, the depth of field of the target object in the image can be determined by using a known image recognition technology, to determine the orientation of the target object relative to the vehicle and the distance between the target object and the vehicle. Alternatively, the position detection unit can be combined with an image recognition technology, to determine the position information of the target object. The display control device performing the display control method 100 can actively acquire or passively receive the position information of the target object acquired by the image recognition device from the image recognition device. After actively acquiring or passively receiving the position information of the target object, the display control device can directly use the information, or can store the information in a memory for subsequent use.

[0063] In step 102, it is determined whether the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meet (s) a preset condition. Specifically, it can be determined whether the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meet (s) a preset threshold or meet (s) a preset state (for example, a preset state where a change occurs) . In this case, the display control device performing the display control method 100 can read the preset threshold or the preset state from the memory, and compare the preset threshold or the preset state with the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object acquired in step 101, to determine whether the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meet (s) the preset threshold or meet (s) the preset state. In this case, the display control device performing the display control method 100 can read the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object acquired last time from the memory, and compare the information with the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object acquired in step 101, thereby determining whether the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object has (have) changed. It can also determine whether the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object has (have) changed, and if a change is confirmed, it determines whether the change amount meets a preset change threshold. In this case, the display control device performing the display control method 100 can read the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object acquired last time as well as the preset change threshold from the memory, compare the information with the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object acquired in step 101 and calculate the change amount, and then compare the calculated change amount with the read preset change threshold, thereby determining whether the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object has (have) changed and whether the change amount meets the preset change threshold.

[0064] In an example, the acquired information is ambient brightness of the vehicle. The display control device performing the display control method 100 can compare the ambient brightness of the vehicle with a preset brightness threshold, and determine whether the ambient brightness is greater than a first brightness threshold or less than a second brightness threshold; or it can also determine whether the ambient brightness of the vehicle acquired this time has changed compared with the ambient brightness acquired last time, and in case of a change, calculate the brightness increase amount, the brightness increase ratio, the brightness decrease amount or the brightness decrease ratio, and then compare them with a preset brightness increase threshold or brightness decrease threshold.

[0065] In an example, the acquired information is real-time weather condition. The display control device performing the display control method 100 can determine whether the real-time weather condition is specific type such as rain, fog, or haze (that is, determine whether the preset state is satisfied) .

[0066] In an example, the acquired information is atmospheric visibility outside the vehicle. The display control device performing the display control method 100 can compare the atmospheric visibility outside the vehicle with a preset atmospheric visibility threshold to determine whether it is less than the atmospheric visibility threshold.

[0067] In an example, the acquired information is an air pollution index outside the vehicle. The display control device performing the display control method 100 can compare the air pollution index outside the vehicle with a preset air pollution index threshold to determine whether it is greater than the air pollution index threshold.

[0068] In an example, the acquired information is position information of the target object. The position information of the target object can include a distance between the target object and the vehicle and / or an orientation of the target object relative to the vehicle. The display control device performing the display control method 100 can determine whether the distance between the target object and the vehicle decreases. If the distance between the target object and the vehicle decreases, it indicates that the target object is approaching the vehicle. The display control device performing the display control method 100 can also determine whether the orientation of the target object relative to the vehicle changes.

[0069] In step 103, in response to the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meeting the preset condition, the zoom level of the displayed content in the display region of the vehicle-mounted glass, the display brightness of the display region, the size of the display region and / or the position of the display region are changed. The vehicle-mounted glass can have at least one display region in which corresponding content is displayed toward the outside of the vehicle. The display region can be either a personalized division tailored for a specific target object or a display region applicable to the general population.

[0070] The content displayed by the vehicle-mounted glass toward the outside of the vehicle can be related or unrelated to the acquired environmental information of the vehicle and / or position information of the target object. The displayed content can include the environmental information of the vehicle, or can include a virtual character or a cartoon pattern, information related to function control, information related to audio-visual entertainment, information related to the target object’s journey, and / or life service information. The environmental information of the vehicle can include various information mentioned above, which will not be repeated here. The virtual character or the cartoon pattern can be a virtual character or a cartoon pattern related to a vehicle brand, a virtual character or a cartoon pattern designed according to the age or age group and / or the gender of a user, a virtual character or a cartoon pattern designed according to a user identity (for example, a driver or a passenger) , a virtual character or a cartoon pattern specifically designed for a target object, or the like. The information related to the function control can include a content selection menu, a function control panel (for example, switches including seat adjustment, seat heating, air conditioning adjustment, and window control) , and the like. Information related to audio-visual entertainment can include games, short videos, music players, photos, etc. The information related to the target object’s journey can include a welcome message, vehicle location, a map, navigation information, etc. Map and navigation information can be displayed with varying levels of granularity based on the user's identity. For example, if the target object is a driver, more detailed map and navigation information can be displayed; if the target object is a passenger, the starting place, destination, and vehicle route can be briefly displayed. The life service information can include advertisements, dressing indices related to the destination, dining and accommodation information, travel information, etc. Different types of life service information can be displayed based on the user's age or age group, gender, and / or identity. For example, if the target object is a child, an advertisement related to the child can be displayed; if the target object is a middle-aged female, a dressing index related to the destination can be displayed; and if the target object is a passenger, travel information of the destination can be displayed.

[0071] In response to the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meeting the preset condition, the zoom level of the displayed content in the display region of the vehicle-mounted glass, the display brightness of the display region, the size of the display region, and / or the position of the display region can be changed. The displayed content can include, for example, text, numbers, symbols, patterns, pictures, or videos, and changing the zoom level of the displayed content can include increasing or decreasing the zoom level of the displayed content (e.g., increasing the zoom level of the displayed text or pattern to 125%or decreasing the zoom level of the displayed text or pattern to 85%) . The situation that the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meet (s) the preset condition can be associated with the corresponding change (s) of the zoom level of the displayed content in the display region, the display brightness of the display region, the size of the display region and / or the position of the display region in advance, so that one or more of the zoom level of the displayed content in the display region, the display brightness of the display region, the size of the display region and the position of the display region can be changed according to one or both of the environmental information of the vehicle and the position information of the target object meeting the preset condition.

[0072] In an example, the environmental information of the vehicle includes ambient brightness of the vehicle. It can be understood that when the vehicle is currently in a bright environment, for example, on the roadside and at noon, if the default display brightness, default zoom level, and default size of the display region are used, it will become difficult for the user to view the displayed content in the display region, which requires more attention from the user, thereby reducing the user’s visual comfort. Accordingly, a first brightness threshold can be set for comparison with the ambient brightness of the vehicle. The first brightness threshold can be a fixed value, such as 15000 LUX or 18000 LUX. If the ambient brightness of the vehicle is greater than the first brightness threshold, it indicates that the vehicle is currently in a bright environment. When the ambient brightness of the vehicle is greater than the first brightness threshold, the zoom level of the displayed content can be increased, the display brightness can be brightened, and / or the size of the display region can be enlarged to enable the user to clearly and comfortably view the displayed content. In addition, it can also be understood that when the environment of the vehicle becomes brighter with a significant change in brightness, for example, after the vehicle moves from an underground parking lot to a road, or after the weather changes from overcast to sunny, if the display brightness, the zoom level of the displayed content, and the size of the display region remain unchanged, then compared to before the environment brightened, it also becomes difficult for the user to view the content displayed in the display region and requires more attention from the user, which similarly reduces the user’s visual comfort. In order to reduce or avoid the influence caused by the brightness fluctuation of the natural light, a brightness increase threshold for comparison with the brightness increase amount or brightness increase ratio of the ambient brightness of the vehicle when the environment of the vehicle becomes brighter can be set. When the brightness increase amount or the brightness increase ratio of the ambient brightness of the vehicle is greater than or equal to the brightness increase threshold, similarly, the zoom level of the displayed content can be increased, the display brightness can be brightened, and / or the size of the display region can be enlarged to enable the user to clearly and comfortably view the displayed content. The brightness increase threshold can be a fixed value corresponding to the brightness increase amount, such as 1000 LUX or 2000 LUX; or can be a fixed ratio corresponding to the brightness increase ratio, such as 10%or 20%. Furthermore, it can be understood that as the display region is enlarged, the content displayed within it also scales up synchronously along with the boundaries of the display region.

[0073] In such an example, step 103 can include, in response to the ambient brightness of the vehicle being greater than the first brightness threshold, or the brightness increase amount or the brightness increase ratio of the ambient brightness of the vehicle being greater than or equal to the brightness increase threshold, increasing the zoom level of the displayed content (e.g., from 100%to 125%) , brightening the display brightness (e.g., from 4000 nits to 5000 nits) , and / or enlarging the size of the display region (e.g., from 250 mm × 400 mm to 300 mm × 480 mm) , thereby improving the visual comfort of the target object.

[0074] Advantageously, the degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content, the degree of brightening in the display brightness, and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region is (are) a fixed value (fixed values) or a fixed ratio (fixed ratios) ; or the degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content, the degree of brightening in the display brightness, and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region is (are) associated with the difference between the ambient brightness of the vehicle and the first brightness threshold or the brightness increase amount or the brightness increase ratio.

[0075] The degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content relative to the default zoom level, the degree of brightening in the display brightness relative to the default display brightness, and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region relative to the default size of the display region can be preset as a fixed value (fixed values) or a fixed ratio (fixed ratios) for the first brightness threshold. For example, compared with the default zoom level, the default display brightness and / or the default size of the display region, the increase ratio of the zoom level of the displayed content is 25%, the brightening value of the display brightness is 2000 nits or the brightening ratio is 10%, and / or the enlargement ratio of the size of the display region is 15%. That is, if the ambient brightness of the vehicle is greater than the first brightness threshold, the zoom level of the displayed content is increased by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio from the default zoom level, the display brightness is brightened by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio from the default display brightness, and / or the size of the display region is enlarged by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio from the default size. The fixed value or fixed ratio is associated with the first brightness threshold, that is, different first brightness thresholds can correspond to different fixed values or fixed ratios.

[0076] The degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content relative to the zoom level before the environment brightened, the degree of brightening in the display brightness relative to the display brightness before the environment brightened, and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region relative to its size before the environment brightened can be preset as a fixed value (fixed values) or a fixed ratio (fixed ratios) for the brightness increase threshold. For example, compared to before the environment of the vehicle brightened, the increase ratio of the zoom level of the displayed content is 25%, the brightening value of the display brightness is 2000 nits or the brightening ratio is 10%, and / or the enlargement ratio of the size of the display region is 15%. That is, if the brightness increase amount or the brightness increase ratio of the ambient brightness of the vehicle is greater than or equal to the brightness increase threshold, the zoom level of the displayed content is increased by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio from the zoom level before the environment brightened, the display brightness is brightened by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio from the ambient brightness before the environment brightened, and / or the size of the display region is enlarged by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio from the size before the environment brightened.

[0077] The difference between the ambient brightness of the vehicle and the first brightness threshold can be corresponding to (for example, directly proportional to) the degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content relative to the default zoom level, the degree of brightening in the display brightness relative to the default display brightness, and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region relative to the default size of the display region in advance, so that the degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content, the degree of brightening in the display brightness, and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region can be determined according to the difference between the ambient brightness of the vehicle and the first brightness threshold. For example, for every 1000 LUX difference between the ambient brightness of the vehicle and the first brightness threshold, the zoom level of the displayed content is increased by 10%from the default zoom level, the display brightness is brightened by 500 nits or 5%from the default display brightness, and / or the size of the display region is enlarged by 5%from the default size. That is, if the ambient brightness of the vehicle is greater than the first brightness threshold, a difference between the ambient brightness of the vehicle and the first brightness threshold can be calculated, and the zoom level of the displayed content can be increased, the display brightness can be brightened, and / or the size of the display region can be enlarged accordingly based on this difference.

[0078] The brightness increase amount or the brightness increase ratio of the ambient brightness of the vehicle can be corresponding to (for example, directly proportional to) the degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content relative to the zoom level before the environment brightened, the degree of brightening in the display brightness relative to the display brightness before the environment brightened, and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region relative to its size before the environment brightened, so that the degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content, the degree of brightening in the display brightness, and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region can be determined according to the brightness increase amount or the brightness increase ratio of the ambient brightness of the vehicle. For example, for every 1000 LUX increase or every 5%increase ratio of the ambient brightness, the zoom level of the displayed content is increased by 10%from the zoom level before the environment brightened, the display brightness is brightened by 500 nits or 5%from the display brightness before the environment brightened, and / or the size of the display region is enlarged by 5%from its size before the environment brightened. That is, if the brightness increase amount or the brightness increase ratio of the ambient brightness of the vehicle is greater than or equal to the brightness increase threshold, the zoom level of the displayed content can be increased, the display brightness can be brightened, and / or the size of the display region can be enlarged accordingly based on the brightness increase amount or the brightness increase ratio.

[0079] In an example, the environmental information of the vehicle includes ambient brightness of the vehicle. It can be understood that when the vehicle is currently in a dark environment, for example, in an underground parking lot, if the default display brightness, the default zoom level, and the default size of the display region are used, the user will experience eye strain or glare when viewing the displayed content in the display region, which reduces the user’s visual comfort. Accordingly, a second brightness threshold can be set for comparison with the ambient brightness of the vehicle. The second brightness threshold can be a fixed value, such as 10000 LUX or 8000 LUX. The second brightness threshold is significantly less than the first brightness threshold. If the ambient brightness of the vehicle is less than the second brightness threshold, it indicates that the vehicle is currently in a dark environment. When the ambient brightness of the vehicle is less than the second brightness threshold, the zoom level of the displayed content can be decreased, the display brightness can be dimmed, and / or the size of the display region can be reduced to enable the user to clearly and comfortably view the displayed content. In addition, it can also be understood that when the environment of the vehicle darkens with a significant change in brightness, for example, after the vehicle moves from a road to an underground parking lot, or after the weather changes from a sunny day to overcast, if the display brightness, the zoom level of the displayed content, and the size of the display region remain unchanged, then compared with before the brightness darkened, the user will also experience eye strain or glare when viewing the displayed content in the display region, which similarly reduces the user’s visual comfort. In order to reduce or avoid the influence caused by the brightness fluctuation of the natural light, a brightness decrease threshold for comparison with the brightness decrease amount or brightness decrease ratio of the ambient brightness of the vehicle when the environment of the vehicle is darkened can be set. When the brightness decrease amount or the brightness decrease ratio of the ambient brightness of the vehicle is greater than or equal to the brightness decrease threshold, the zoom level of the displayed content can be decreased, the display brightness can be dimmed, and / or the size of the display region can be reduced to enable the user to clearly and comfortably view the displayed content. The brightness decrease threshold can also be a fixed value, such as 2000 LUX or 3000 LUX; or can be a fixed ratio, such as 20%or 30%. Furthermore, it can be understood that as the display region is reduced, the content displayed within it also scales down synchronously along with the boundaries of the display region.

[0080] In such an example, step 103 can include, in response to the ambient brightness of the vehicle being less than the second brightness threshold, or the brightness decrease amount or brightness decrease ratio of the ambient brightness of the vehicle being greater than or equal to the brightness decrease threshold, decreasing the zoom level of the displayed content (e.g., from 100%to 90%) , dimming the display brightness (e.g., from 5000 nits to 4000 nits) , and / or reducing the size of the display region (e.g., from 300 mm ×500 mm to 240 mm × 400 mm) , thereby improving the visual comfort of the target object.

[0081] Advantageously, the degree of decrease in the zoom level of the displayed content, the degree of dimming in the display brightness, and / or the degree of reduction in the size of the display region is (are) a fixed value (fixed values) or a fixed ratio (fixed ratios) ; or the degree of decrease in the zoom level of the displayed content, the degree of dimming in the display brightness, and / or the degree of reduction in the size of the display region is (are) associated with a difference between the second brightness threshold and the ambient brightness of the vehicle or a brightness decrease amount or a brightness decrease ratio.

[0082] The degree of decrease in the zoom level of the displayed content relative to the default zoom level, the degree of dimming in the display brightness relative to the default display brightness, and / or the degree of reduction in the size of the display region relative to the default size of the display region can be preset to a fixed value (fixed values) or a fixed ratios (fixed ratios) for the second brightness threshold. For example, compared with the default zoom level, the default display brightness and / or the default size of the display region, the decrease ratio of the zoom level of the displayed content is 10%, the dimming value of the display brightness is 1000 nits or the dimming ratio is 5%, and / or the reduction ratio of the size of the display region is 15%. That is, if the ambient brightness of the vehicle is less than the second brightness threshold, the zoom level of the displayed content is decreased by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio from the default zoom level, the display brightness is dimmed by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio from the default display brightness, and / or the size of the display region is reduced by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio from the default size. The fixed value or fixed ratio is associated with the second brightness threshold, that is, different second brightness thresholds can correspond to different fixed values or fixed ratios.

[0083] The degree of decrease in the zoom level of the displayed content relative to the zoom level before the environment darkened, the degree of dimming in the display brightness relative to the display brightness before the environment darkened, and / or the degree of reduction in the size of the display region relative to its size before the environment darkened can be preset to a fixed value (fixed values) or a fixed ratio (fixed ratios) for the brightness decrease threshold. For example, compared to before the environment of the vehicle darkened, the decrease ratio of the zoom level of the displayed content is 10%, the dimming value of the display brightness is 1000 nits or the dimming ratio is 5%, and / or the reduction ratio of the size of the display region is 15%. That is, if the brightness decrease amount or the brightness decrease ratio of the ambient brightness of the vehicle is greater than or equal to the brightness decrease threshold, the zoom level of the displayed content is decreased by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio from the zoom level before the environment darkened, the display brightness is dimmed by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio from the display brightness before the environment darkened, and / or the size of the display region is reduced by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio from the size before the environment darkened.

[0084] The difference between the second brightness threshold and the ambient brightness of the vehicle can be corresponding to (for example, directly proportional to) the degree of decrease in the zoom level of the displayed content relative to the default zoom level, the degree of dimming in the display brightness relative to the default display brightness, and / or the degree of reduction in the size of the display region relative to the default size of the display region in advance, so that the degree of decrease in the zoom level of the displayed content, the degree of dimming in the display brightness, and / or the degree of reduction in the size of the display region can be determined according to the difference between the second brightness threshold and the ambient brightness of the vehicle. For example, for every 1000 LUX difference between the second brightness threshold and the ambient brightness of the vehicle, the zoom level of the displayed content is decreased by 10%from the default zoom level, the display brightness is dimmed by 500 nits or 5%from the default display brightness, and / or the size of the display region is reduced by 5%from the default size. That is, if the ambient brightness of the vehicle is less than the second brightness threshold, a difference between the second brightness threshold and the ambient brightness of the vehicle can be calculated, and the zoom level of the displayed content can be decreased, the display brightness can be dimmed, and / or the size of the display region can be reduced accordingly based on the difference.

[0085] The brightness decrease amount or the brightness decrease ratio of the ambient brightness of the vehicle can be corresponding to (e.g., directly proportional to) the degree of decrease in the zoom level of the displayed content relative to the zoom level before the environment darkened, the degree of dimming in the display brightness relative to the display brightness before the environment darkened, and / or the degree of reduction in the size of the display region relative to the size before the environment darkened, so that the degree of decrease in the zoom level of the displayed content, the degree of dimming in the display brightness, and / or the degree of reduction in the size of the display region can be determined according to the brightness decrease amount or the brightness decrease ratio of the ambient brightness of the vehicle. For example, for every 1000 LUX decrease or every 5%decrease ratio in ambient brightness, the zoom level of the displayed content is decreased by 10%from the zoom level before the environment darkened, the display brightness is dimmed by 500 nits or 5%from the display brightness before the environment darkened, and / or the size of the display region is reduced by 5%from the size before the environment darkened. That is, if the brightness decrease amount or the brightness decrease ratio of the ambient brightness of the vehicle is greater than or equal to the brightness decrease threshold, the zoom level of the display content can be decreased, the display brightness can be dimmed, and / or the size of the display area can be reduced accordingly based on the brightness decrease amount or the brightness decrease ratio.

[0086] In one example, the environmental information of the vehicle includes the real-time weather condition. It can be understood that when the weather condition is a specific type such as rain, fog, or haze, visibility is reduced, making it relatively difficult for the user to view the displayed content in the display region. Consequently, this requires more attention from the user, thereby reducing the user’s visual comfort. Therefore, when the real-time weather condition is a specific type such as rain, fog, or haze, the zoom level of the displayed content can be increased, the display brightness can be brightened, and / or the size of the display region can be enlarged to enable the user to clearly and comfortably view the displayed content. Furthermore, it can be understood that as the display region is enlarged, the content displayed within it also scales up synchronously along with the boundaries of the display region.

[0087] In such an example, step 103 can include, in response to the real-time weather condition being a specific type, increasing the zoom level of the displayed content (e.g., from 100%to 115%) , brightening the display brightness (e.g., from 4000 nits to 4500 nits) , and / or enlarging the size of the display region (e.g., from 250 mm × 450 mm to 300 mm ×540 mm) , thereby improving the visual comfort of the target object.

[0088] Advantageously, the degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content, the degree of brightening in the display brightness, and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region is (are) associated with the type of real-time weather condition.

[0089] The degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content relative to the default zoom level, the degree of brightening in the display brightness relative to the default display brightness, and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region relative to the default size of the display region can be preset to a fixed value (fixed values) or a fixed ratio (fixed ratios) for each type of weather condition. For example, compared with the default zoom level, the default display brightness, and / or the default size of the display region, the increase ratio of the zoom level of the displayed content corresponding to rain is 15%, the brightening value of the display brightness is 2000 nits or the brightening ratio is 10%, and / or the enlargement ratio of the size of the display region is 10%; the increase ratio of the zoom level of the displayed content corresponding to fog is 25%, the brightening value of the display brightness is 3000 nits or the brightening ratio is 15%, and / or the enlarging ratio of the size of the display region is 20%; the increase ratio of the zoom level of the displayed content corresponding to haze is 35%, the brightening value of the display brightness is 4000 nits or the brightening ratio is 20%, and / or the enlargement ratio of the size of the display region is 30%. In other words, if the real-time weather condition is specific type such as rain, fog, or haze, compared with the default zoom level, the default display brightness, and / or the default size of the display region, the zoom level of the displayed content is increased by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio, the display brightness is brightened by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio, and / or the size of the display region is enlarged by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio.

[0090] In an example, the environmental information of the vehicle includes atmospheric visibility outside the vehicle. It can be understood that when the atmospheric visibility is low, it becomes relatively difficult for the user to view the displayed content in the display region, which requires more attention from the user, thereby reducing the user’s visual comfort. Accordingly, an atmospheric visibility threshold can be set, and when the atmospheric visibility outside the vehicle is less than the atmospheric visibility threshold, the zoom level of the displayed content can be increased, the display brightness can be brightened, and / or the size of the display region can be enlarged to enable the user to clearly and comfortably view the displayed content. Furthermore, it can be understood that as the display region is enlarged, the content displayed within it also scales up synchronously along with the boundaries of the display region.

[0091] In such an example, step 103 can include, in response to the atmospheric visibility outside the vehicle being less than the atmospheric visibility threshold, increasing the zoom level of the displayed content (e.g., from 100%to 150%) , brightening the display brightness (e.g., from 4000 nits to 6000 nits) , and / or enlarging the size of the display region (e.g., from 250 mm × 450 mm to 375 mm × 675 mm) , thereby improving the visual comfort of the target object.

[0092] Advantageously, the degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content, the degree of brightening in the display brightness, and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region is (are) a fixed value (fixed values) or a fixed ratio (fixed ratios) ; or the degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content, the degree of brightening in the display brightness, and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region is (are) associated with a difference between the atmospheric visibility threshold and the atmospheric visibility outside the vehicle.

[0093] The degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content compared to the default zoom level, the degree of brightening in the display brightness compared to the default display brightness, and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region compared to the default size of the display region can be preset to a fixed value (fixed values) or a fixed ratio (fixed ratios) for the atmospheric visibility threshold. For example, compared with the default zoom level, the default display brightness and / or the default size of the display region, the increase ratio of the zoom level of the displayed content is 50%, the brightening value of the display brightness is 2000 nits or the brightening ratio is 20%, and / or the enlargement ratio of the size of the display region is 30%. That is, if the atmospheric visibility outside the vehicle is less than the atmospheric visibility threshold, the zoom level of the displayed content is increased by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio from the default zoom level, the display brightness is brightened by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio from the default display brightness, and / or the size of the display region is enlarged by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio from the default size. The fixed value or fixed ratio is associated with the atmospheric visibility threshold, that is, different atmospheric visibility thresholds can correspond to different fixed values or fixed ratios.

[0094] The difference between the atmospheric visibility threshold and the atmospheric visibility outside the vehicle can be corresponding to (e.g., directly proportional to) the degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content relative to the default zoom level, the degree of brightening in the display brightness relative to the default display brightness, and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region relative to the default size of the display region in advance, so that the degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content, the degree of brightening in the display brightness, and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region can be determined according to the difference between the atmospheric visibility threshold and the atmospheric visibility outside the vehicle. For example, for every 50 meters difference between the atmospheric visibility threshold and the atmospheric visibility outside the vehicle, the zoom level of the displayed content is increased by 10%from the default zoom level, the display brightness is brightened by 500 nits or 5%from the default display brightness, and / or the size of the display region is enlarged by 5%from the default size. That is, if the atmospheric visibility outside the vehicle is less than the atmospheric visibility threshold, a difference between the atmospheric visibility threshold and the atmospheric visibility outside the vehicle can be calculated, and the zoom level of the displayed content can be increased, the display brightness can be brightened, and / or the size of the display region can be enlarged correspondingly based on the difference.

[0095] In an example, the environmental information of the vehicle includes an air pollution index outside the vehicle. It can be understood that when the air pollution index is large, the visibility is reduced, and it becomes relatively difficult for the user to view the displayed content in the display region, which requires more attention from the user, thereby reducing the user’s visual comfort. Thus, the air pollution index threshold can be set, and when the air pollution index is greater than the air pollution index threshold, the zoom level of the displayed content can be increased, the display brightness can be brightened, and / or the size of the display region can be enlarged to enable the user to clearly and comfortably view the displayed content. The air pollution index threshold can be a fixed value, such as 100 or 130. Furthermore, it can be understood that as the display region is enlarged, the content displayed within it also scales up synchronously along with the boundaries of the display region.

[0096] In such an example, step 103 can include, in response to the air pollution index outside the vehicle being greater than the air pollution index threshold, increasing the zoom level of the displayed content (e.g., from 100%to 125%) , brightening the display brightness (e.g., from 4000 nits to 5000 nits) , and / or enlarging the size of the display region (e.g., from 250 mm × 450 mm to 300 mm × 540 mm) , thereby improving the visual comfort of the target object.

[0097] Advantageously, the degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content, the degree of brightening in the display brightness and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region is (are) a fixed value (fixed values) or a fixed ratio (fixed ratios) ; or the degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content, the degree of brightening in the display brightness and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region is (are) associated with a difference between the air pollution index outside the vehicle and the air pollution index threshold.

[0098] The degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content relative to the default zoom level, the degree of brightening in the display brightness relative to the default display brightness, and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region relative to the default size of the display region can be preset to a fixed value (fixed values) or a fixed ratio (fixed ratios) for the air pollution index threshold. That is, if the air pollution index outside the vehicle is greater than the air pollution index threshold, the zoom level of the displayed content is increased by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio from the default zoom level, the display brightness is brightened by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio from the default display brightness, and / or the size of the display region is enlarged by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio from the default size. The fixed value or fixed ratio is associated with the air pollution index threshold, that is, different air pollution index thresholds can correspond to different fixed values or fixed ratios.

[0099] The difference between the air pollution index outside the vehicle and the air pollution index threshold can be corresponding to (e.g., directly proportional to) the degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content relative to the default zoom level, the degree of brightening in the display brightness relative to the default display brightness, and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region compared to the default size of the display region in advance, so that the degree of increase in the zoom level of the displayed content, the degree of brightening in the display brightness, and / or the degree of enlargement in the size of the display region can be determined according to the difference between the air pollution index outside the vehicle and the air pollution index threshold. For example, for every 50 difference between the air pollution index outside the vehicle and the air pollution index threshold, the zoom level of the displayed content is increased by 10%from the default zoom level, the display brightness is brightened by 500 nits or 5%from the default display brightness, and / or the size of the display region is enlarged by 5%from the default size. That is, if the air pollution index outside the vehicle is greater than the air pollution index threshold, a difference between the air pollution index outside the vehicle and the air pollution index threshold can be calculated, and the zoom level of the displayed content can be increased, the display brightness can be brightened, and / or the size of the display region can be enlarged correspondingly based on the difference.

[0100] In an example, the position information of the target object changes. As described above, the position information of the target object can include a distance between the target object and the vehicle and / or an orientation of the target object relative to the vehicle. It can be understood that as the distance between the target object and the vehicle decreases, when the target object views the displayed content in the display region, visual comfort decreases because the distance between the target object and the vehicle does not match the size of the displayed content. On the other hand, if the orientation of the target object relative to the vehicle changes, the fixed position of display region will also reduce the visual comfort of the target object. Therefore, as the target object approaches the vehicle, that is, the distance between the target object and the vehicle decreases, and / or the orientation of the target object relative to the vehicle changes, the zoom level of the displayed content can be decreased, the size of the display region can be reduced, and / or the position of the display region can be adjusted to enable the user to clearly and comfortably view the displayed content. Furthermore, it can be understood that as the display region is reduced, the content displayed within it also scales down synchronously along with the boundaries of the display region.

[0101] In such examples, step 103 can include, in response to the distance between the target object and the vehicle decreasing, decreasing the zoom level of the displayed content (e.g., from 100%to 90%) and / or reducing the size of the display region (e.g., from 300 mm × 500 mm to 270 mm × 450 mm) , thereby improving the visual comfort of the target object.

[0102] Advantageously, the degree of decrease in the zoom level of the displayed content and / or the degree of reduction in the size of the display region is (are) associated with the distance between the target object and the vehicle; or the degree of decrease in the zoom level of the displayed content and / or the degree of reduction in the size of the display region is (are) associated with the decrease amount or decrease ratio in the distance between the target object and the vehicle.

[0103] The degree of decrease in the zoom level of the displayed content relative to the default zoom level and / or the degree of reduction in the size of the display region relative to the default size of the display region can be preset to a fixed value (fixed values) or a fixed ratio (fixed ratios) for each of a plurality of different distances between the target object and the vehicle, respectively. Different distances between the target object and the vehicle can correspond to different fixed values or fixed ratios. For example, the distance between the target object and the vehicle is 2 meters, and compared with the default zoom level and / or the default size of the display region, the decrease ratio of the zoom level of the displayed content is 10%, and / or the reduction ratio of the size of the display region is 10%; the distance between the target object and the vehicle is 1.5 meters, and compared with the default zoom level and / or the default size of the display region, the decrease ratio of the zoom level of the displayed content is 15%, and / or the reduction ratio of the size of the display region is 15%; the distance between the target object and the vehicle is 1 meter, and compared with the default zoom level and / or the default size of the display region, the decrease ratio of the zoom level of the displayed content is 25%, and / or the reduction ratio of the size of the display region is 25%. That is, when the distance between the target object and the vehicle decreases, the zoom level of the displayed content can be decreased from the default zoom level by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio, and / or the size of the display region can be reduced from the default size of the display region by a corresponding fixed value or fixed ratio according to the current distance between the target object and the vehicle.

[0104] The decrease amount or decrease ratio of the distance between the target object and the vehicle can be corresponding to (for example, directly proportional to) the degree of decrease in the zoom level of the displayed content and / or the degree of reduction in the size of the display region in advance, so that the degree of decrease in the zoom level of the displayed content and / or the degree of reduction in the size of the display region can be determined according to the decrease amount or decrease ratio of the distance between the target object and the vehicle. For example, for every 0.5 meters decrease of the distance between the target object and the vehicle, the zoom level of the displayed content is decreased by 10%from the default zoom level, and / or the size of the display region is reduced by 5%from the default size of the display region. That is, when the distance between the target object and the vehicle decreases, the zoom level of the displayed content can be decreased and / or the size of the display region can be reduced correspondingly based on the decrease amount or decrease ratio of the distance between the target object and the vehicle.

[0105] In such an example, step 103 can further include changing a position of the display region in a lateral direction on one or more vehicle-mounted glasses in response to a change in the orientation of the target object relative to the vehicle, thereby improving the visual comfort of the target object.

[0106] Advantageously, the moving speed of the position of the display region in the lateral direction on the one or more vehicle-mounted glasses can be corresponding to the changing speed of the orientation of the target object relative to the vehicle. The vehicle-mounted glass can be a sidelite glass and / or a rear windshield and / or a front windshield. Advantageously, the vehicle-mounted glass is a sidelite glass, and the display region moves in a lateral direction on the vehicle-mounted glass. For example, the moving speed of the position of the display region in the lateral direction on the vehicle-mounted glass (e.g., sidelite glass) is directly proportional to the changing speed of the orientation of the target object relative to the vehicle. That is, the faster the changing speed of the orientation of the target object relative to the vehicle, the faster the moving speed of the position of the display region in the lateral direction on the vehicle-mounted glass (e.g., the sidelite glass) . For example, as the target object continuously approaches the vehicle from the side-rear of the vehicle toward the front of the vehicle, from the perspective of the target object, the displayed content “follows” the movement of target object, which improves the user’s visual comfort and augments the sense of technology and user experience.

[0107] It can be understood that, in various environmental information of the vehicle and position information of the target object listed above, there may be situations where more than one type of information meets the preset condition. In this case, the zoom level of the displayed content in the display region of the vehicle-mounted glass, the display brightness of the display region, the size of the display region, and / or the position of the display region can be changed sequentially according to each type of information, that is, the changed results are superimposed; priorities can also be set for various environmental information of the vehicle and position information of the target object, and the zoom level of the displayed content in the display region of the vehicle-mounted glass, the display brightness of the display region, the size of the display region, and / or the position of the display region is (are) changed only according to the information with the highest priority.

[0108] In some embodiments, the display regions prior to and following the position change are located on the same vehicle-mounted glass. The target object can be a passenger. When the target object is located at the side-rear of the vehicle, the display region is located on the rear sidelite glass close to the target object and close to the vehicle’s C-pillar; as the target object approaches the vehicle towards the front of the vehicle, the position of the display region can move on this rear sidelite glass towards the vehicle’s B-pillar; when the target object approaches the rear door, the position of the display region remains on the same rear sidelite glass but is closer to the vehicle’s B-pillar, thereby causing the displayed content to “follow” the movement of the target object.

[0109] In some embodiments, the display regions prior to and following the position change are located on different vehicle-mounted glasses. Referring to FIG. 2, FIG. 2 shows a schematic diagram of a position change of a display region according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In FIG. 2, the target object is a driver, who starts to be located at the side-rear of the vehicle, and the display region 201 on the rear sidelite glass close to the target object is used as the display region of the vehicle-mounted glass displayed to the outside towards the target object. As the target object moves forward, the position of the display region can move toward the front sidelite glass, for example, one half is located on the rear sidelite glass, and the other half is located on the front sidelite glass, that is, the position of the display region 202 in FIG. 2. When the target object continues to move forward and approaches the driver’s cab, the position of the display region can be moved to a position entirely on the front sidelite glass, that is, the position of the display region 203 in FIG. 2. From the perspective of the target object, the displayed content “follows” the movement of the target object, which improves the user’s visual comfort and augments the sense of technology and the user experience.

[0110] Compared with the existing on-board information display method, the display control method provided in the above embodiments can change the zoom level of the displayed content in the display region of the vehicle-mounted glass, display brightness of the display region, size of the display region, and / or position of the display region in response to environmental information of the vehicle and / or position information of the target object meeting a preset condition, thereby augmenting the sense of technology in the display of the vehicle-mounted glass and the user’s driving and riding experience.

[0111] In some embodiments, the displayed content and / or the position and / or size of the display region can be determined according to the user information of the target object. In these embodiments, before step 103, the display control method 100 can further include: acquiring user information of the target object; and determining the displayed content on the vehicle-mounted glass and / or the position and / or size of the display region based on the user information of the target object. The user information can include age or age group, identity, gender, height data and / or eyeball height data of the target object. Information related to the determined position and / or size of the display region can be programmed in the display chip, and corresponding content can be projected or displayed in the display region under the control of the display chip.

[0112] It can be appreciated that users of different ages or age groups, identities, and / or genders have preferences for different categories of displayed content. For example, virtual characters or cartoon patterns are more attractive to children, teenagers, or young people; middle-aged and elderly people may be more concerned with life service information; drivers are more concerned with travel related information; female passengers are more concerned with audio-visual entertainment related information, etc. In addition, users of different heights also have different preferences for the position of the display region. For example, for children, it is more suitable for the display region to be close to the lower edge of the vehicle-mounted glass; for adults, it is more suitable for the display region to be located in the middle of the vehicle-mounted glass. In addition, users of different ages or age groups may also have different preferences for the size of the display region. For example, for the elderly, a larger display region is more suitable; for other people, the display region does not need to be too large, as long as the displayed content can be clearly presented.

[0113] In an example, the age or age group, gender and / or height data or eyeball height data of the target object can be acquired via a networked device. For example, the target object is a passenger of an online car-hailing or taxi, user information is registered on a cloud server of the online car-hailing or taxi platform in advance, and the cloud server stores the user information. The passenger places an order through the mobile phone application (APP) , and the cloud server schedules the vehicle near the passenger through the networked device on the vehicle. After the vehicle stops at the designated pick-up point of the passenger, the display control device performing the display control method 100 acquires the age or age group, gender and / or height data or eyeball height data of the passenger from the cloud server via the networked device, and determines the content displayed toward the passenger on the vehicle-mounted glass and / or the position and / or size of display region based on the user information.

[0114] In an example, the age or age group, identity and / or gender of the target object can be detected via an image recognition technology. For example, an artificial intelligence model can be trained in advance, and when the target object approaches the vehicle, the display control device performing the display control method 100 identifies the age or age group (such as children, teenagers, youth, middle-aged, elderly, etc. ) , identity (such as children must be passengers) and / or gender of the target object via the image recognition technology, and determines the content displayed on the vehicle-mounted glass toward the target object and / or the position and / or size of the display region based on the user information.

[0115] In an example, configuration information of the target object can be pre-stored on the vehicle, which includes user information such as age or age group, identity, gender and / or height data, or eyeball height data. For example, a private vehicle owner can pre-store configuration information for himself or herself and family members. When the target object approaches the vehicle, the display control device performing the display control method 100 can first recognize the target object via the image recognition technology, then obtain pre-configured user information of the target object, and determine, based on the user information, content displayed on the vehicle-mounted glass toward the target object and / or the position and / or size of the display region.

[0116] In an example, several age groups (such as children, teenagers, youth, middle-aged, and elderly) can be pre-divided, and the displayed content and / or the position and / or size of the display region can be preset for users of each of different age groups and / or different genders, and stored in the memory as configuration data. When the target object approaches the vehicle, the display control device performing the display control method 100 can first identify the age group and / or gender of the target object via the image recognition technology, then obtain configuration data corresponding to the age group and / or gender, and display it on the vehicle-mounted glass toward the target object.

[0117] In an example, the displayed content and / or the position and / or size of the display region can be preset for a specific user or each of specific users, and stored in the memory as configuration data. When a specific user approaches the vehicle, the display control device performing the display control method 100 can recognize the specific user via the image recognition technology, automatically select configuration data, and display it on the vehicle-mounted glass toward the target object; or the specific user can manually select configuration data through a carried mobile device and provide the configuration data to the display control device, and then the display control device displays the configuration data on the vehicle-mounted glass toward the target object.

[0118] In addition, the positions of the display regions corresponding to the users of different age groups or height ranges can be determined by modeling and calculation or scientific experiments based on ergonomics. It can be understood that if a user gazes at a certain position on the vehicle-mounted glass with a higher frequency and a longer duration, it means that the user has a better visual comfort.

[0119] In an example, the gaze frequencies and / or the gaze durations of a plurality of users at the plurality of positions on the vehicle-mounted glass when the plurality of users are at a certain distance from the vehicle-mounted glass can be counted and analyzed (for example, by an eye tracker) to determine the visual comfort of different positions on the vehicle-mounted glass for the plurality of users, thereby determining the position of the display region. The number of users can be set as required, for example, greater than or equal to 20, greater than or equal to 30, greater than or equal to 40, greater than or equal to 50, etc. The plurality of users can be adults. In addition, the visual comfort of different positions on the vehicle-mounted glass for a plurality of children can be determined in the same manner for the plurality of children, thereby determining the position of the display region.

[0120] In an example, the gaze frequencies and / or the gaze durations of a specific user at a plurality of positions on the vehicle-mounted glass when the specific user is at a certain distance from the vehicle-mounted glass can be counted and analyzed to determine the visual comfort of different positions on the vehicle-mounted glass for the specific user, thereby determining the position of the display region. Therefore, the most appropriate display region for the specific user can be determined and stored as configuration data in, for example, a memory in the vehicle. When the specific user approaches the vehicle, the display control device performing the display control method 100 can recognize the specific user via the image recognition technology and automatically select the configuration data for the specific user; or the specific user manually selects the configuration data through a carried mobile device.

[0121] It should be noted that the vehicle-mounted glass used in the above scientific experiments is not necessarily the glass finally mounted on the vehicle, and can be a sample of a certain model of vehicle-mounted glass; the above scientific experiments are not necessarily performed after the glass is mounted on the vehicle, and can be completed in a laboratory environment. After the vehicle-mounted glasses of this model are mounted in batches on a batch of vehicles, the statistical and analysis results obtained in the above scientific experiments and the determination of the display region are all applicable to these vehicle-mounted glasses.

[0122] In some embodiments, the user information includes height data or eyeball height data of the target object. The position of the display region of the vehicle-mounted glass can be adjusted in the vertical direction according to the height data or the eyeball height data.

[0123] In an example, the determined position of the display region of the vehicle-mounted glass in the vertical direction (for example, the position of the geometric center thereof) corresponds to a height reference value or an eyeball height reference value (for example, 140 cm, 160 cm, 165 cm) . A rule for adjusting the position of the display region in the vertical direction according to the difference between the height data or the eyeball height data and the reference value is preset. For example, when the difference is a positive value (that is, the height data or the eyeball height data exceeds the height reference value or the eyeball height reference value) , the display region is moved upward in the vertical direction by a distance equal to the difference; when the difference is a negative value (that is, the height data or the eyeball height data is less than the height reference value or the eyeball height reference value) , the display region is moved downward in the vertical direction by a distance equal to the absolute value of the difference. The height data or eyeball height data of the target object can be detected, for example, via a sensor. The difference between the detected height data or eyeball height data and the height reference value or eyeball height reference value corresponding to the current position of the display region can be determined, and the position of the display region of the vehicle-mounted glass can be adjusted in the vertical direction according to the difference and the position adjustment rule.

[0124] In another example, a plurality of corresponding different height ranges or eyeball height ranges (e.g., 160-164 cm, 165-170 cm) can be set for a plurality of different preset positions of the display region of the vehicle-mounted glass (e.g., a plurality of different preset positions of its geometric center) . After the height data or the eyeball height data of the target object is acquired, the position of the display region is adjusted in the vertical direction to a position on the vehicle-mounted glass corresponding to a range where the acquired height data or eyeball height data is located.

[0125] The height reference value or eyeball height reference value, or the plurality of height ranges or eyeball height ranges of the user can be determined through scientific experiments. In one example, users of standard height or near-standard height are selected by group to participate in the experiment and display regions are divided accordingly. The groups can include, for example, a 6-8 year-old children group, a 9-10 year-old children group, a 11-12 year-old children group, a teenager group (male) , a teenager group (female) , an adult group (male) , an adult group (female) , and the like. The vehicle-mounted glass can be provided with n positions, and a plurality of positions respectively corresponding to the n positions are additionally provided above and / or below the n positions in the vertical direction (for example, so that for each of the n positions, the total number of positions in the vertical direction is greater than the number of groups) . The visual comfort of these positions on the vehicle-mounted glass for the group of users is determined by group, and the display region is divided. For each group, the average height value or the average eyeball height value of the group of users can be used as the height reference value or the eyeball height reference value corresponding to the position of the divided display region in the vertical direction. Alternatively, the height range or eyeball height range of the group of users can be used as the height range or eyeball height range corresponding to the position of the divided display region in the vertical direction. In this way, the position of the display region in the vertical direction can be adjusted according to the height or eyeball height of the target object, which can improve the user’s visual comfort and further improve the user experience.

[0126] In some embodiments, the display function on the vehicle-mounted glass can be enabled in response to the vehicle being started, a pre-configured condition being met, an actively determined control instruction, or a passively received control instruction. Meeting the pre-configured condition can include reaching a pre-configured display enabling time, recognizing that the target object is a specific object, and the like. For example, the owner of a private vehicle can preset the commute time. The display control device performing the display control method 100 can set the display enabling time to ten minutes before the commute time. When the display enabling time is reached, the display control device performing the display control method 100 can display content (such as preset displayed content) toward the vehicle owner on the vehicle-mounted glass, and activate a sensor (such as the sensor installed outside the vehicle or in the vehicle) , a position detection unit, a networked device, and / or an image recognition device (such as a camera) , acquire environmental information of the vehicle and / or position information of the target object, determine whether the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meet (s) a preset condition, and in response to the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meeting the preset condition, change the zoom level of the displayed content in the display region of the vehicle-mounted glass, the display brightness of the display region, the size of the display region, and / or the position of the display region. For another example, it can be preset that the display function on the vehicle-mounted glass is enabled only when a specific object is detected. When the target object approaches the vehicle, the target object is recognized as a specific object by using the image recognition technology, and the display control device performing the display control method 100 can display content (for example, preset displayed content) on the vehicle-mounted glass toward the specific object, activate a sensor, a position detection unit, a networked device, and / or an image recognition device (for example, a camera) , obtain environmental information of the vehicle and / or position information of the target object, determine whether the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meet (s) a preset condition, and in response to the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meeting the preset condition, change the zoom level of the displayed content in the display region of the vehicle-mounted glass, the display brightness of the display region, the size of the display region, and / or the position of the display region.

[0127] In addition, these control instructions can be received via a vehicle-mounted interface, a communication module, and / or a human-computer interaction module. For example, when the vehicle is started, the display control device performing the display control method 100 receives a control instruction for starting the vehicle or sends a control instruction for starting the vehicle by itself, or when a sensor, a position detection unit, or an image recognition device (such as a camera) detects that a target object enters a preset range of the vehicle, the display control device performing the display control method 100 receives a control instruction that the target object approaches the vehicle, displays content (such as displayed content determined according to user information of the target object) toward the target object on the vehicle-mounted glass, acquires environmental information of the vehicle and / or position information of the target object via the sensor, the position detection unit, a networked device, and / or the image recognition device (such as the camera) , determines whether the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meet (s) a preset condition, and in response to the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meeting the preset condition, changes the zoom level of the displayed content in the display region of the vehicle-mounted glass, the display brightness of the display region, the size of the display region, and / or the position of the display region. For another example, when the target object performs a display start operation by using a carried electronic device (for example, a mobile phone or a vehicle key) , the display control device performing the display control method 100 receives a display start control instruction, displays content (for example, displayed content determined according to user information of the target object) toward the target object on the vehicle-mounted glass, activates a sensor, a position detection unit, a networked device, and / or an image recognition device (for example, a camera) , obtains environmental information of the vehicle and / or position information of the target object, determines whether the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meet (s) a preset condition, and in response to the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meeting the preset condition, changes the zoom level of the displayed content in the display region of the vehicle-mounted glass, the display brightness of the display region, the size of the display region, and / or the position of the display region. In this way, the display function on the vehicle-mounted glass can be enabled according to actual needs, which is suitable for different application scenarios and increases the diversity and flexibility of the vehicle-mounted glass display.

[0128] In some embodiments, when one or more display stop conditions are met, displaying content on the vehicle-mounted glass is stopped. The display stop condition can include: the target object enters the vehicle; the vehicle-mounted glass descends; a control instruction related to display stop is actively determined or passively received; and / or the vehicle stops working. When it is detected that the target object enters the vehicle or the vehicle-mounted glass descends, displaying content on the vehicle-mounted glass is stopped. For example, whether the target object enters the vehicle can be detected via a sensor, a position detection unit, and / or an image recognition device. The sensor, the position detection unit, and the image recognition device can be, for example, the position detection unit and the image recognition device described above for detecting position information of a target object, or can be a touch sensor mounted on a handlebar. For another example, it is also possible to detect whether the vehicle-mounted glass descends via a sensor. The sensor can be, for example, a Hall sensor. In addition, it is also possible to stop displaying the content on the vehicle-mounted glass when a control instruction related to display stop is actively determined or passively received. For example, when the vehicle is about to move, the display control device performing the display control method 100 receives a control instruction to stop displaying, and then the display control device stops displaying content on the vehicle-mounted glass. For another example, when the target object performs a display stop operation, for example, selects display stop function via a carried electronic device (for example, a mobile phone or a vehicle key) , taps a virtual button on a vehicle-mounted glass, or sends a display stop control instruction through a gesture, etc., the display control device performing the display control method 100 receives the display stop control instruction and stops displaying content on the vehicle-mounted glass. For another example, when the preset display duration is reached, the display control device performing the display control method 100 determines to end the display, and stops displaying the content on the vehicle-mounted glass. In this way, the stop of the display can be flexibly controlled, so that the service life of the device can be prolonged and different requirements of the user can be met.

[0129] In some embodiments, the vehicle-mounted glass further has an interaction function with the target object. In these embodiments, the display interaction function on the vehicle-mounted glass can be enabled in response to the position information of the target object indicating that the target object is located within a preset distance range from the vehicle-mounted glass, or in response to a passively received control instruction. For example, when the position information of the target object indicates that the target object is located within the preset distance range (for example, 1 meter) from the vehicle-mounted glass, the display control device performing the display control method 100 enables the display interaction function on the vehicle-mounted glass. The target object can stay next to the vehicle-mounted glass and continue to browse information displayed on the vehicle-mounted glass. The display control device performing the display control method 100 can recognize a gesture of the target object via a camera mounted on the vehicle, so that the target object implements interaction actions such as page turning, pull-up, and pull-down through the gesture. For another example, when the target object performs an interaction function enabling operation, for example, selects interaction enabling function via a carried electronic device (for example, a mobile phone or a vehicle key) , taps a virtual button on the vehicle-mounted glass, or sends a control instruction for enabling interaction through a gesture, the display control device performing the display control method 100 receives the control instruction to enable interaction function, and recognizes the gesture of the target object by using a camera installed on the vehicle, so that the target object implements interaction actions such as page turning, pull-up, and pull-down through the gesture. In this way, interaction with the user can be realized on the basis of displaying information to the user, which is applicable to various application scenarios and further augments the sense of technology of the vehicle and improves user experience.

[0130] In some embodiments, the display of the vehicle-mounted glass can be realized by a projection display function layer and / or an autonomous display function layer. The projection display function layer can work with a projector to create an image, and the autonomous display function layer can be controlled by a display chip to create an image. The projection display function layer and / or the autonomous display function layer can be laminated into the vehicle-mounted glass or attached to the surface of the vehicle-mounted glass, and can cover the entire vehicle-mounted glass or a partial region of the vehicle-mounted glass. For example, in the case where the size and / or position of the display region is changed in response to the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meeting the preset condition, or the position of the display region is dynamically adjusted according to the height or eyeball height of the target object, since the position and / or size of the display region is (are) not fixed, the projection display function layer and / or the autonomous display function layer can cover the entire vehicle-mounted glass, or at least most of the region of the vehicle-mounted glass. As in FIG. 2, the projection display function layer and / or the autonomous display function layer cover (s) at least most of the regions of the rear sidelite glass and the front sidelite glass. For another example, without dynamic adjustment, the projection display function layer and / or the autonomous display function layer can cover only the pre-divided display region. For example, in response to the ambient brightness of the vehicle being greater than the first brightness threshold, or in response to the brightness increase amount or the brightness increase ratio of the ambient brightness of the vehicle being greater than or equal to the brightness increase threshold, only the display brightness of the vehicle-mounted glass is brightened, the projection display function layer and / or the autonomous display function layer can cover only the pre-divided display region on the vehicle-mounted glass.

[0131] In some embodiments, the corresponding content is projected on the display region of the vehicle-mounted glass by at least one projector. The projector can be disposed inside the vehicle, such as at the position of the vehicle roof or center armrest. When there are a plurality of display regions on the vehicle-mounted glass, only one projector can be provided, and the displayed content is projected onto the corresponding display regions by controlling the projection direction of the projector, thereby saving the installation space and production cost. Two or more projectors can also be provided to project the displayed content onto the display regions in a one-to-many or one-to-one manner, respectively, thereby further ensuring the stability and accuracy of information display.

[0132] FIG. 3 shows a schematic block diagram of a vehicle-mounted glass assembly according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As can be seen from FIG. 3, the vehicle-mounted glass assembly 300 includes a display control device 30, a vehicle-mounted glass 31, and an autonomous display function layer 32. Here, the autonomous display function layer 32 is shown as an example. In other embodiments, the vehicle-mounted glass assembly 300 can include only the projection display function layer, or both the projection display function layer and the autonomous display function layer 32. The display control device 30 includes a processor (e.g., a central processing unit (CPU) ) 301 and a memory 302 coupled to the processor 301. The memory 302 is configured to store computer-executable instructions, and the processor 301 executes the computer-executable instructions to perform the display control method for vehicle-mounted glass of a vehicle. Those skilled in the art can understand that the autonomous display function layer 32 can be, for example, a flexible OLED display or an LCD display, which can be laminated into the vehicle-mounted glass 31 or attached to the surface of the vehicle-mounted glass 31 to integrally form with the vehicle-mounted glass 31. The vehicle-mounted glass assembly 300 can control the autonomous display function layer 32 to display through the display control device 30. In addition, a touch layer can be disposed on the vehicle-mounted glass 31 to implement interaction with the user. The touch layer can also be laminated into the vehicle-mounted glass 31 or attached to the surface of the vehicle-mounted glass 31 to integrally form with the vehicle-mounted glass.

[0133] The present disclosure further provides a vehicle-mounted glass assembly, which is adapted to change a zoom level of displayed content in a display region of the vehicle-mounted glass, a display brightness of the display region, a size of the display region and / or a position of the display region in response to environmental information of a vehicle and / or position information of a target object located outside the vehicle meeting a preset condition. The vehicle-mounted glass assembly includes: a vehicle-mounted glass; and a projection display function layer and / or an autonomous display function layer integrally formed with the vehicle-mounted glass.

[0134] In some embodiments, the vehicle-mounted glass assembly is adapted to display content thereon when the display control method of the embodiments described with reference to FIG. 1 is performed.

[0135] In some embodiments, the vehicle-mounted glass assembly further includes a control unit, including an input interface and an output interface, wherein the input interface is coupled to the display control device and is configured to receive a display control instruction from the display control device, and the output interface is coupled to the autonomous display function layer. The display control instruction is generated by the display control device performing the display control method of the embodiments described with reference to FIG. 1. The control unit is configured to control the autonomous display function layer to perform a corresponding display operation based on the display control instruction.

[0136] FIG. 4 shows a schematic block diagram of a display system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As can be seen from FIG. 4, the display system 400 includes a display control device 40, a projector 41 and a projection display function layer 42. The display control device 40 includes a processor (e.g., a central processing unit (CPU) ) 401 and a memory 402 coupled to the processor 401. The memory 402 is configured to store computer-executable instructions, and the processor 401 executes the computer-executable instructions to perform the display control method for vehicle-mounted glass of a vehicle. Those skilled in the art can understand that the projection display function layer 42 can be laminated into the vehicle-mounted glass (not shown in FIG. 4) or attached to the surface of the vehicle-mounted glass to integrally form with the vehicle-mounted glass. The display system 400 can project the displayed content onto the projection display function layer 42 for display through the projector 41.

[0137] In the embodiment of FIG. 4, the display system 400 includes only one projector 41, and when the position of the display region changes, the displayed content can be projected onto the display region by controlling the projection direction of the projector 41. When content needs to be displayed on two or more display regions at the same time (for example, content is displayed on the rear windshield and the sidelite glass at the same time) , display independence of each of these display regions can be ensured by designing a hardware structure of the projector and editing software of the projector. In this way, installation space and production cost can be saved.

[0138] In some embodiments, the display system 400 can include at least two projectors respectively corresponding to at least two display regions, so that when content is displayed on a certain display region, the corresponding projector is controlled to project the displayed content onto the display region. In this way, the stability and accuracy of information display can be further ensured.

[0139] In some embodiments, the display system 400 may not include the projector 41, and instead, the vehicle-mounted glass is provided with an autonomous display function layer for active display, so as to display the acquired content. The autonomous display function layer can be, for example, a flexible OLED display or an LCD display, which can be laminated into the vehicle-mounted glass or attached to the surface of the vehicle-mounted glass to integrally form with the vehicle-mounted glass. In addition, a touch layer can be disposed on the vehicle-mounted glass to implement interaction with the user. The touch layer can also be laminated into the vehicle-mounted glass or attached to the surface of vehicle-mounted glass to integrally form with the vehicle-mounted glass.

[0140] In some embodiments, the projection display function layer 42 or the autonomous display function layer 32 covers at least the display region of the vehicle-mounted glass. In other words, to implement a display function of the display region, the projection display function layer and / or the autonomous display function layer needs (s) to cover the display region.

[0141] In some embodiments, the projection display function layer 42 or the autonomous display function layer 32 covers only a partial region of the vehicle-mounted glass. The partial region includes at least a sub-region for display, and can also include some sub-regions covered for ease of production. In this way, the production cost can be saved and the light transmittance of the vehicle-mounted glass can be improved to a certain extent.

[0142] In some embodiments, the size and / or position of the display region can be changed in response to the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meeting the preset condition; or the position of the display region in the vertical direction of the vehicle-mounted glass can be dynamically adjusted according to the height or eyeball height of the target object, accordingly, the projection display function layer 42 or the autonomous display function layer 32 can cover the entire vehicle-mounted glass, or at least most of the region of the vehicle-mounted glass. In this way, production of the vehicle-mounted glass can be facilitated and display flexibility can be improved.

[0143] In some embodiments, the projection display function layer 42 or the autonomous display function layer 32 covers a pre-divided display region of the vehicle-mounted glass. In this way, the production cost can be saved and the light transmittance of the vehicle-mounted glass can be improved to a certain extent.

[0144] In some embodiments, the content displayed on the projection display function layer 42 or the autonomous display function layer 32 includes: a virtual character or a cartoon pattern; environmental information of the vehicle; information related to function control; information related to audio-visual entertainment; information related to the target object’s journey; and / or life service information.

[0145] The present disclosure further provides a display control apparatus for vehicle-mounted glass of a vehicle. Each module of the display control apparatus can be implemented by using software, hardware (for example, an integrated circuit or an FPGA) , or a combination of software and hardware. Referring to FIG. 5, a display control apparatus 500 for vehicle-mounted glass of a vehicle includes an information acquisition module 501, a condition determination module 502, and a content display module 503. The information acquisition module 501 is configured to acquire environmental information of a vehicle and / or position information of a target object. The target object is located outside the vehicle. The specific function of the information acquisition module 501 can be found referring to the description of step 101 in the embodiment of FIG. 1 above, and will not be described herein again. The condition determination module 502 is configured to determine whether the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meet (s) a preset condition. The specific function of the condition determination module 502 can be found referring to the description of step 102 in the embodiment of FIG. 1 above, and will not be described herein again. The content display module 503 is configured to, in response to the environmental information of the vehicle and / or the position information of the target object meeting a preset condition, change the zoom level of the displayed content in the display region of the vehicle-mounted glass, the display brightness of the display region, the size of the display region, and / or the position of the display region. The specific function of the content display module 503 can be found referring to the description of step 103 in the embodiment of FIG. 1 above, and will not be described herein again.

[0146] FIG. 6 shows a schematic block diagram of a display control device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The display control device 600 can be, for example, the display control device 40 in FIG. 4, or can be another independent display control device. As can be seen from FIG. 6, the display control device 600 includes a processor (e.g., a central processing unit (CPU) ) 601 and a memory 602 coupled to the processor 601. The memory 602 is configured to store computer-executable instructions, and when the computer-executable instructions are executed, the processor 601 is caused to perform the display control method for vehicle-mounted glass of a vehicle in FIG. 1. The processor 601 and the memory 602 are connected to each other through a bus, and an input / output (I / O) interface is also connected to the bus. The display control device 600 can further include a plurality of components (not shown in FIG. 6) connected to the I / O interface, such as a human-computer interaction module and a communication module. The human-computer interaction module can include an input module, such as a keyboard, a mouse, and a touch screen; and an output module, such as various types of displays and speakers. The communication module can include a wired communication module and / or a wireless communication module, such as a network card, a modem, a wireless communication transceiver, etc. The communication module allows the display control device 600 to exchange information / data with other devices over a computer network such as the Internet and / or various telecommunication networks. The plurality of components can further include a storage module, for example, a magnetic disk or an optical disk.

[0147] Also, alternatively, the methods described above can be implemented by a computer-readable storage medium. The computer-readable storage medium carries computer-readable program instructions for performing various embodiments of the present disclosure. The computer readable storage medium can be a tangible device that can retain and store instructions for use by an instruction execution device. The computer-readable storage medium can be, for example, but is not limited to, an electronic storage device, a magnetic storage device, an optical storage device, an electromagnetic storage device, a semiconductor storage device, or any suitable combination of the foregoing. More specific examples (non-exhaustive) of the computer-readable storage medium include: a portable computer diskette, a hard disk, a random access memory ( (RAM) ) , a read-only memory (ROM) , an erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM or Flash memory) , a static random access memory ( (SRAM) ) , a portable compact disc read-only memory ( (CD-ROM) ) , a digital versatile disc ( (DVD) ) , a memory stick, a floppy disk, a mechanically encoded device such as punch-cards or raised structures in a groove having instructions recorded thereon, and any suitable combination of the foregoing. A computer readable storage medium, as used herein, is not to be construed as being transitory signals per se, such as radio waves or other freely propagating electromagnetic waves, electromagnetic waves propagating through a waveguide or other transmission media (e.g., light pulses passing through a fiber-optic cable) , or electrical signals transmitted through a wire.

[0148] Therefore, in another embodiment, the present disclosure proposes a computer-readable storage medium having computer-executable instructions stored thereon for performing the display control method in various embodiments described with respect to FIG. 1 in the present disclosure.

[0149] The present disclosure further provides a computer program product, the computer program product is tangibly stored on a computer-readable storage medium and includes computer-executable instructions, and the computer-executable instructions, when executed, cause at least one processor to perform the display control method in the embodiments described in FIG. 1 in the present disclosure.

[0150] In general, the various example embodiments of the present disclosure can be implemented in hardware or special purpose circuits, software, firmware, logic, or any combination thereof. Certain aspects can be implemented in hardware, while other aspects can be implemented in firmware or software that can be executed by a controller, microprocessor, or other computing device. When various aspects of the embodiments of the present disclosure are illustrated or described as block diagrams, flowcharts, or using some other graphical representations, it will be understood that the blocks, apparatuses, systems, techniques, or methods described herein can be implemented as non-limiting examples in hardware, software, firmware, dedicated circuits or logic, general-purpose hardware or controllers or other computing devices, or some combination thereof.

[0151] Although various exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure described above can be implemented in hardware or dedicated circuits, the display control apparatus described above can be implemented in the form of hardware or software, because in the 90s of the 20th century, it can be easily determined whether a technical improvement belongs to hardware improvements (for example, improvements to circuit structures such as diodes, transistors, and switches) or software improvements (for example, improvements to method processes) . However, with the continuous development of technology, the improvement of many current method flows can almost be realized by programming the improved method flows into hardware circuits, in other words, corresponding hardware circuit structures are obtained by programming different programs for the hardware circuits, that is, changes of the hardware circuit structures are realized, so the improvement of such method flows can also be regarded as a direct improvement of the hardware circuit structures. Therefore, it cannot be said that an improvement of a method procedure cannot be implemented by using a hardware entity module. For example, a programmable logic device (Programmable Logic Device: PLD) (for example, a field programmable gate array (Field Programmable Gate Array: FPGA) ) is an integrated circuit whose logic function is determined by programming the device by a user. A designer is programmed to “integrate” a digital system into a programmable logic device without requiring a chip manufacturer to design and manufacture a dedicated integrated circuit chip. Moreover, now, instead of manually manufacturing an integrated circuit chip, such programming is mostly implemented by using “logic compiler” software, which is similar to a software compiler used in program development and writing, and original code before compilation is also written by using a specific programming language, which is referred to as a Hardware Description Language (HDL) , and the HDL is not just a variety, but is many kinds, such as ABEL (Advanced Boolean Expression Language) , AHDL (Altera Hardware Description Language) , Confluence, CUPL (Cornell University Programming Language) , HDCal, JHDL (Java Hardware Description Language) , Lava, Lola, MyHDL, PALASM, RHDL (Ruby Hardware Description Language) , etc., and currently the most commonly used are VHDL (Very-High -Speed Integrated Circuit Hardware Description Language) and Verilog. It should also be clear to those skilled in the art that a hardware circuit for implementing the logic method flow can be easily obtained only by slightly programming the method flow into an integrated circuit using the above several hardware description languages.

[0152] The computer readable program instructions or computer program product for performing various embodiments of the present disclosure can also be stored in the cloud, and when needing to be invoked, the user can access the computer readable program instructions for performing one embodiment of the present disclosure stored on the cloud through the mobile Internet, the fixed network or other networks, thereby implementing the technical solutions disclosed in various embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0153] While embodiments of the present disclosure have been described with reference to several specific embodiments, it should be understood that embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited to the specific embodiments disclosed. Embodiments of the present disclosure are intended to cover various modifications and equivalent arrangements included within the spirit and scope of the appended claims. The scope of the claims is to be accorded the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and equivalent structures and functions.
