For example, a payment according to the determined card may be performed by a payment device (220) scanning the payment code displayed by the electronic device (101).

[0058] The electronic device (101) can register multiple cards. The benefits of the cards registered in the electronic device (101) may vary. For example, the stores associated with the benefits of the cards may vary. For example, the names of the stores associated with the benefits of the cards and the types of businesses of the stores may vary. For example, the benefits of the first card among the cards may include the benefit of accumulating points when making a payment at a 'cafe', but the benefits of the second card among the cards may not include benefits related to the 'cafe'. For example, the benefits of the first card among the cards may include the benefit of accumulating points when making a payment at a designated first cafe, but the benefits of the third card among the cards may include the benefit of accumulating points when making a payment at a second cafe different from the first cafe. For example, the benefits of the first card among the cards may include the benefit of accumulating points when making a payment at the store (202), but the benefits of the third card among the cards may not include the benefit of accumulating points when making a payment at the store (202). For example, each card may have transaction performance conditions associated with its benefits. For instance, each card may provide its benefits if the card's transaction performance in the previous month exceeds a specified amount.

[0059] According to one embodiment, a user (210) of an electronic device (101) may provide user input to the electronic device (101) regarding the selection of a card for making a payment at a store (202). For example, the user (210) may provide user input to the electronic device (101) regarding the selected card after comparing the benefit conditions of the cards one by one. For example, the user (210) may have to perform the task of directly comparing the conditions related to the benefits of the cards. For example, the more cards registered in the electronic device (101) there are, the longer the time required for the above task may be. The user (210) may feel inconvenience due to the time required for the above task. In addition, performing the above task may cause inconvenience to the user (210).

[0060] In the present disclosure, a technique for determining, identifying, selecting, suggesting, or recommending a card among the cards registered in the electronic device (101) may be described. For example, the electronic device (101) may identify information about the store (202) where the electronic device (101) is located. For example, the electronic device (101) may identify the name of the store (202) and / or the type of business of the store (202). For example, based on the information of the store (202), the electronic device (101) may identify, determine, select, suggest, or recommend the card among the registered cards that provides the greatest benefit when making a payment at the store (202). For example, the electronic device (101) may display a visual object corresponding to the card that provides the greatest benefit when making a payment at the store (202) through a display based on the execution of a payment application using the registered cards. The user (210) may experience convenience by not having to perform the task of comparing the registered cards. The user experience of the electronic device (101) may be enhanced.

[0061] When a store (201) and a store (202) are contained within a single building, the error in the location indicated by the GNSS (global navigation satellite system) information of the electronic device (101) may be relatively large. For example, if the electronic device (101) identifies a store using only GNSS information, the error between the identified store and the store (202) where the electronic device (101) is actually located may be relatively large. For example, if the electronic device (101) identifies a store using only GNSS information, the identified store and the store (202) where the electronic device (101) is actually located may be different. In embodiments of the present disclosure, the electronic device (101) may further utilize a broadcast signal broadcast from a communication device in addition to GNSS information to identify the store (202). For example, the broadcast signal may include a signal on the WI-FI (wireless fidelity) band. For example, since the electronic device (101) uses a broadcast signal, it can identify the store (202) among the store (201) and the store (202).

[0062] A method by which an electronic device (101) identifies, determines, selects, suggests, or recommends a card among registered cards using information of a store identified by a broadcast signal will be described and illustrated with reference to FIGS. 4 through 14. For example, the first electronic device (301) can execute operations 403, 405, 409, 411, and / or 413 in response to identifying the user's payment intention. For example, the first electronic device (301) can identify identification information of at least one communication device and strength information of at least one signal by using at least one signal broadcast from at least one communication device in response to identifying the user's payment intention.

[0104] FIG. 6 illustrates examples of operations performed between a first electronic device and a second electronic device for store information corresponding to signal information.

[0105] In the present disclosure, the name of a store may include the trade name and / or brand name of the store. In the present disclosure, the business type of a store may be referred to by a merchant category, a merchant category code (MCC), a merchant type, and / or a term having an equivalent technical meaning.

[0106] Referring to FIG. 6, in operation 601, the first electronic device (301) (e.g., at least one processor (300)) may acquire or receive at least one signal broadcast from at least one communication device. Operation 601 may correspond to at least a part of operation 403 of FIG. 4. For example, operation 601 may be a subsequent operation of operation 505 of FIG. 5.

[0107] According to one embodiment, the first electronic device (301) can obtain location information of the first electronic device (301) using a location sensor. For example, the first electronic device (301) can obtain GNSS (global navigation satellite system) information. For example, the GNSS information may include location coordinates of the first electronic device (301).

[0108] In operation 603, the first electronic device (301) (e.g., at least one processor (300)) may identify, acquire, or generate signal information using at least one signal. For example, the signal information may include identification information of at least one communication device, strength information of at least one signal, and acquisition time information of at least one signal. For example, for the signal information, the descriptions of the signal information of operation 403 of FIG. 4 may be referenced. For example, the signal information may further include location information of the first electronic device (301). For example, the signal information may be referred to as payment time information in that it is acquired as the first electronic device (301) identifies the user's payment intention.

[0109] In operation 605, the first electronic device (301) (e.g., at least one processor (300)) may transmit signal information to the second electronic device (302) via a communication circuit (e.g., a communication circuit (330)). For example, the signal information may include identification information of at least one communication device, strength information of at least one signal, acquisition time information of at least one signal, and / or location information of the first electronic device (301). For example, operation 605 may correspond to operation 405 of FIG. 4.

[0110] In operation 607, the second electronic device (302) (e.g., at least one processor (340)) can identify whether there exists a data set corresponding to signal information among the data sets. For example, the second electronic device (302) can execute operation 609 based on identifying that there exists a data set corresponding to signal information among the data sets. For example, the second electronic device (302) can execute operations 611 and / or operations 613 based on identifying that there does not exist a data set corresponding to signal information among the data sets. For example, for the data sets, the descriptions of the data sets in operation 407 of FIG. 4 may be referenced. For example, each data set within the data sets may further include location information of the store represented by the data set. For example, the location information of the store may include location coordinates. Operation 607 may correspond to operation 407 of FIG. 4.

[0111] In operation 609, the second electronic device (302) (e.g., at least one processor (340)) can transmit store information to the first electronic device (301) via a communication circuit (e.g., a communication circuit (370)). Operation 609 may correspond to operation 409 of FIG. 4.

[0112] In operation 611, the second electronic device (302) (e.g., at least one processor (340)) may obtain payment approval information. For example, the payment approval information may include payment approval time information, information about the store, and / or transaction amount information. For example, since the information about the store within the payment approval information may be substantially the same as the store information of FIG. 4, redundant content is omitted. For example, the second electronic device (302) may decide to create or add a data set corresponding to the signal information based on identifying that there is no data set corresponding to the signal information among the data sets.

[0113] According to one embodiment, the second electronic device (302) may receive payment approval information from the first electronic device (301) via a communication circuit (370) to obtain the data set. For example, the first electronic device (301) may execute a payment function using a card registered to the first electronic device (301). For example, after the first electronic device (301) performs a payment at a store according to the payment function, it may obtain payment approval information from a payment server device (e.g., the payment server device (1100) of FIG. 11) via a communication circuit (330). For example, the first electronic device (301) may transmit the payment approval information to the second electronic device (302) via the communication circuit (330).

[0114] According to one embodiment, the second electronic device (302) may receive payment approval information for the data set from the payment server device via the communication circuit (370). For example, the second electronic device (302) may request payment approval information from the payment server device. For example, the second electronic device (302) may obtain payment approval information in response to the request.

[0115] In operation 613, the second electronic device (302) (e.g., at least one processor (340)) may generate or acquire a data set based on signal information and payment approval information. For example, the generation of a data set by the second electronic device (302) is described and illustrated in FIG. 7.

[0116] FIG. 7 illustrates an example of a data set obtained using signal information and payment approval information. FIG. 7 may be related to operation 611 and / or operation 613 of FIG. 6.

[0117] Referring to FIG. 7, the first electronic device (301) can acquire signal information (701). For example, the first electronic device (301) can transmit the signal information (701) to the second electronic device (302) via a communication circuit (e.g., communication circuit (330)). For example, for the signal information (701), the descriptions of operation 405 of FIG. 4 and / or the descriptions of operation 605 of FIG. 6 may be referenced. For example, the signal information (701) may include identification information of at least one communication device, signal strength information of at least one signal, signal acquisition time information of at least one signal, and / or location information of the first electronic device (301).

[0118] The first electronic device (301) can perform a payment through the payment device (220) using a card registered to the first electronic device (301). After performing the payment, the first electronic device (301) can obtain or receive payment approval information (702) from a payment server device (e.g., the payment server device (1100) of FIG. 11). For example, the payment approval information (702) may include payment approval time information, information about the store, and / or transaction amount information. For example, for the payment approval information (702), the descriptions of the payment approval information of operation 611 of FIG. 6 may be referenced. For example, since the information about the store within the payment approval information (702) may be substantially the same as the store information of FIG. 4, redundant content may be omitted. The first electronic device (301) can transmit the payment approval information to the second electronic device (302) through the communication circuit (330).

[0119] The second electronic device (302) may receive signal information (701) and payment approval information (702) from the first electronic device (301) via a communication circuit (e.g., communication circuit (370)). As an example not limited to, the second electronic device (302) may receive payment approval information (702) from a payment server device (e.g., payment server device (1100)) via a communication circuit (370)).

[0120] The second electronic device (302) can generate or acquire a data set (703) using signal information (701) and payment approval information (702). For example, the second electronic device (302) can identify whether the signal information (701) corresponds to the payment approval information (702). For example, the signal information (701) corresponding to the payment approval information (702) may include the store where the signal information (701) was acquired being the same as the store represented by the payment approval information (702). For example, the second electronic device (302) can identify whether the signal information (701) corresponds to the payment approval information (702) by comparing the acquisition time information of at least one signal within the signal information (701) with the payment approval time information within the payment approval information (702). For example, the second electronic device (302) can identify or calculate the difference between a first time based on the acquisition time information of at least one signal in the signal information (701) and a second time based on the payment approval time information in the payment approval information (702). For example, the second electronic device (302) can determine or identify that the signal information (701) corresponds to the payment approval information (702) based on the determination that the difference is smaller than a reference difference. For example, the second electronic device (302) can determine or identify that the signal information (701) does not correspond to the payment approval information (702) based on the determination that the difference is not smaller than a reference difference.

[0121] The second electronic device (302) can generate a data set (703) based on identifying that signal information (701) corresponds to payment approval information (702). For the data set (703), the descriptions of the data sets of operation 407 of FIG. 4 may be referenced. For example, the data set (703) may include store name information (731), store business type information (732), signal list information (733), and / or store location information (734). For example, in the data set (703), the store name information (731), store business type information (732), signal list information (733), and / or store location information (734) may be associated with each other. For example, the store name information (731) and the store business type information (732) may be based on payment approval information (702). For example, the store name information (731) and the store business type information (732) may be related to the information about the store within the payment approval information (702). For example, the signal list information (733) may be based on the signal information (701). For example, the signal list information (733) may be related to the identification information of at least one communication device within the signal information (701) and the strength information of at least one signal within the signal information (701). For example, the store location information (734) may be based on the signal information (701). For example, the store location information (734) may be related to the location information of the first electronic device (301) within the signal information (701).

[0122] FIG. 8 illustrates an example in which data sets between second electronic devices are used. FIG. 8 may be related to operation 609 of FIG. 6.

[0123] Referring to FIG. 8, the first electronic device (301) can transmit signal information (801) to the second electronic device (302) via a communication circuit (e.g., communication circuit (330)). For the signal information (801), the descriptions of the signal information of operation 605 of FIG. 6 may be referenced.

[0124] The second electronic device (302) can identify a data set corresponding to signal information (801) among the data sets (810). For the data sets (810), the descriptions of the data sets of operation 407 of FIG. 4 may be referenced. For example, the identified data set may be the data set with the highest similarity to the signal information (801) among the data sets (810). For example, the second electronic device (302) can identify store information (802) using the data set. The second electronic device (302) can transmit the store information (802) to the first electronic device (301) via a communication circuit (e.g., communication circuit (370)).

[0125] The first electronic device (301) can obtain store information. For example, the store information may include the name of the store and / or the type of business of the store. For example, the first electronic device (301) can execute operation 411 and / or operation 413 of FIG. 4 based on the store information.

For example, the transaction performance condition may include whether the transaction performance of the card in the previous month exceeded a specified amount. For example, the transaction performance condition may be a condition associated with a benefit of the card. For example, a benefit of the first card that satisfies the transaction performance condition may be provided.

[0131] In operation 913, an electronic device (e.g., at least one processor (300), at least one processor (340)) can identify a second card among a plurality of cards registered in the first electronic device (301) that does not meet transaction performance conditions. For example, benefits for a second card that does not meet transaction performance conditions may not be provided.

[0132] In operation 915, an electronic device (e.g., at least one processor (300), at least one processor (340)) may set or determine the priority level of the first card higher than the priority level of the second card. For example, the electronic device may set or determine the priority level of each of the plurality of cards registered in the first electronic device (301) based on setting the priority level of the first card higher than the priority level of the second card. For example, the electronic device may set, determine, or obtain the priority level of each of the plurality of cards by performing the operations exemplified in FIG. 9a described above, the operations exemplified in FIG. 10a described later, and / or the operations exemplified in FIG. 10b described later.

[0133] FIGS. 10a and 10b illustrate examples of operations for setting priority levels of a plurality of cards. The operations exemplified in FIGS. 10a and 10b may be performed in a first electronic device (e.g., first electronic device (301)), but the embodiments are not limited. For example, the operations exemplified in FIGS. 10a and 10b may be performed in a second electronic device (e.g., second electronic device (302)). For example, the first remaining benefit amount of the first card may include the remaining amount of benefits of the first card associated with the store where the first electronic device (301) is located.

[0135] In operation 1003, an electronic device (e.g., at least one processor (300), at least one processor (340)) can identify a second remaining benefit amount of a second card among a plurality of cards registered in the first electronic device (301). For example, the second remaining benefit amount of the second card may include the remaining amount of benefits of the second card associated with the store where the first electronic device (301) is located.

[0136] In operation 1005, an electronic device (e.g., at least one processor (300)), at least one processor (340) may set or determine the priority level of the first card higher than the priority level of the second card based on identifying a second remaining benefit amount that is less than the first remaining benefit amount. 9b described above, and / or the operations exemplified in FIG. 10b to be described later.

[0137] Referring to FIG. 10b, in operation 1011, an electronic device (e.g., at least one processor (300), at least one processor (340)) can obtain a payment amount. For example, the payment amount may be referred to as an expected payment amount and / or an estimated payment amount.

[0138] According to one embodiment, a payment amount can be obtained based on user input. For example, a user of the first electronic device (301) can input user input to the first electronic device (301). For example, the first electronic device (301) can transmit the obtained payment amount to the second electronic device (302) via a communication circuit (e.g., communication circuit (330)).

[0139] According to one embodiment, the payment amount may be determined using an amount corresponding to the payment amount that the user of the first electronic device (301) paid at a store (or a merchant of the store) indicated by store information (e.g., store information (802)). For example, the payment amount that the user of the first electronic device (301) paid may be determined according to payment approval information received from a payment server device (e.g., payment server device (1100)). As an example, but not limited to, an electronic device (e.g., first electronic device (301), second electronic device (302)) may request information on the payment amount that the user of the first electronic device (301) paid from the payment server device (e.g., payment server device (1100)) and receive information on the payment amount that the user of the first electronic device (301) paid from the payment server device (e.g., payment server device (1100)). For example, the payment amount may be determined based on the average amount of payments made by the user of the first electronic device (301) at a store indicated by the store information (802).

[0140] According to one embodiment, the payment amount may be determined using an amount based on the payment amount that the user of the first electronic device (301) has paid at stores having a business type of store indicated by store information (802). For example, the payment amount that the user of the first electronic device (301) has paid at said stores may be determined based on payment approval information received from a payment server device (e.g., payment server device (1100)). In an example that is not limited to, the electronic device (e.g., first electronic device (301), second electronic device (302)) may request information on the payment amount that the user of the first electronic device (301) has paid at said stores from the payment server device (e.g., payment server device (1100)), and receive information on the payment amount that the user of the first electronic device (301) has paid at said stores from the payment server device (e.g., payment server device (1100)). For example, the payment amount may be displayed according to the average amount of payment amounts paid by the user of the first electronic device (301) in stores having the same business type as the store business type indicated by the store information (802).

[0141] According to one embodiment, the payment amount may be displayed using an amount based on the transaction amount information of a store provided by a payment server device (e.g., payment server device (1100)). For example, the store may be represented by store information (802). For example, the transaction amount information of the store may represent the payment amount of each payment made at the store (e.g., payments made by general customers). For example, the payment amount may be displayed based on the average amount of the payment amounts of the payments made at the store.

[0142] In operation 1013, an electronic device (e.g., at least one processor (300), at least one processor (340)) can identify a first remaining benefit amount of a first card among a plurality of cards registered to the first electronic device (301) according to the payment amount. [0150] In operation 1109, the second electronic device (302) (e.g., at least one processor (340)) may transmit a response signal to the first electronic device (301) via a communication circuit (e.g., a communication circuit (370)). For example, the response signal may indicate that there is no data set corresponding to the signal information.

[0151] In operation 1111, the first electronic device (301) (e.g., at least one processor (300)) may request payment from the payment server device (1100) based on identifying that there is no data set corresponding to signal information among the data sets within the second electronic device (302). For example, the first electronic device (301) may output a payment signal to the outside of the first electronic device (301) or display a payment code through a display (e.g., a display (320)).

[0152] In operation 1113, the first electronic device (301) (e.g., at least one processor (300)) can receive payment approval information (e.g., payment approval information (702)) from the payment server device (1100)) via a communication circuit (330)). For the payment approval information, the descriptions of the payment approval information (702) of FIG. 7 may be referenced.

[0153] According to one embodiment, the first electronic device (301) may generate or acquire a data set (e.g., data set (703)) based on signal information and payment approval information. For generating the data set, the descriptions of FIG. 7 may be referenced.

[0154] In operation 1115, the first electronic device (301) (e.g., at least one processor (300)) can transmit a data set (e.g., data set (703)) to the second electronic device (302) through a communication circuit (330).

[0155] In operation 1117, the second electronic device (302) (e.g., at least one processor (340)) can store a data set received from the first electronic device (301) in memory (e.g., memory (350)). For example, the second electronic device (302) can add the received data set to the stored data sets.

[0156] FIG. 12 illustrates an example of operations performed between a first electronic device, a second electronic device, and a payment server device to determine the priority level of a plurality of cards. In the following embodiments, each operation may be performed sequentially, but is not necessarily performed sequentially. For example, the order of each operation may be changed, and at least two operations may be performed in parallel.

[0157] Referring to FIG. 12, in operation 1201, a second electronic device (302) (e.g., at least one processor (340)) can identify a data set corresponding to signal information among the data sets. Operation 1201 can correspond to operation 407 of FIG. 4.

For example, the information of the plurality of cards may include name information of the cards, benefit information of the cards, and / or transaction performance condition information of the cards. For example, the benefit information of the cards may indicate benefits associated with the card and / or the remaining benefit amount of the card. For example, the transaction performance condition information of the cards may indicate whether the previous month's performance of the card has been met and / or the performance amount for the benefit of the card. For example, the information of the plurality of cards may be obtained from a payment server device (1100). As an example, but not limited to, the information of the plurality of cards may be stored in the memory (e.g., memory (310)) of the first electronic device (301).

For example, the first electronic device (301) can identify or determine the strength of the first signal, the strength of the second signal, and / or the strength of the third signal. For example, the first signal may pass through the wall between the store (1301) and the store (1302), but may be received by the first electronic device (301) at a relatively low strength by passing through the wall. For example, the first electronic device (301) may identify the strength of the second signal as stronger (or higher) than the strength of the first signal. For example, the third signal may pass through the wall between the store (1302) and the store (1303), but may be received by the first electronic device (301) at a relatively low strength by passing through the wall. For example, the first electronic device (301) can identify the strength of the second signal as stronger (or higher) than the strength of the third signal. The first electronic device (301) can transmit identification information of communication devices (1311, 1321, 1331) and strength information of signals (e.g., first signal, second signal, third signal) to the second electronic device (e.g., second electronic device (302)) through a communication circuit (e.g., communication circuit (330)).

[0172] The first electronic device (301) may receive information about the store (1302) where the first electronic device (301) is located from the second electronic device (302) via the communication circuit (330), corresponding to identification information of the communication devices (1311, 1321, 1331) and strength information of signals (e.g., first signal, second signal, third signal). For example, for the operation in which the second electronic device (302) identifies information about the store (1302) based on data sets stored within the second electronic device (302), the descriptions of operation 407 of FIG. 4 may be referenced.

[0173] The first electronic device (301) can obtain a priority level for each of a plurality of cards based on information about the store (1302) and information about the cards registered in the first electronic device (301). For example, the first electronic device (301) can display a visual object (e.g., visual object (1340), visual object (1341), visual object (1342)) corresponding to the card included in the plurality of cards according to the priority level through the display (320).

[0269] The electronic devices according to the various embodiments disclosed in this document may be of various forms. The electronic devices may include, for example, portable communication devices (e.g., smartphones), computer devices, portable multimedia devices, portable medical devices, cameras, electronic devices, or consumer electronics. The electronic devices according to the embodiments of this document are not limited to the devices described above.

[0270] The various embodiments of this document and the terms used therein are not intended to limit the technical features described in this document to specific embodiments, and should be understood to include various modifications, equivalents, or substitutions of said embodiments. In connection with the description of the drawings, similar reference numerals may be used for similar or related components. The singular form of a noun corresponding to an item may include one or more of said items unless the relevant context clearly indicates otherwise. In this document, phrases such as "A or B," "at least one of A and B," "at least one of A or B," "A, B or C," "at least one of A, B and C," and "at least one of A, B, or C" may each include any one of the items listed together in the corresponding phrase, or all possible combinations thereof. Terms such as "first," "second," or "first" or "second" may be used simply to distinguish said components from other said components and do not limit said components in any other aspect (e.g., importance or order). Where any (e.g., 1st) component is referred to as “coupled” or “connected” to another (e.g., 2nd) component, with or without the terms “functionally” or “communicationly,” it means that said any component may be connected to said other component directly (e.g., via a wire), wirelessly, or through a third component.

[0271] The term “module” as used in the various embodiments of this document may include a unit implemented in hardware, software, or firmware, and may be used interchangeably with terms such as logic, logic block, component, or circuit, for example. A module may be a component formed integrally, or a minimum unit of said component or a part thereof that performs one or more functions. For example, according to one embodiment, a module may be implemented in the form of an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC).

[0272] Various embodiments of the present document may be implemented as software (e.g., program (140)) comprising one or more instructions stored in a storage medium (e.g., internal memory (136) or external memory (138)) readable by a machine (e.g., electronic device (101) of FIG. 1). For example, a processor (e.g., processor (120)) of the machine (e.g., electronic device (101)) may call at least one of the one or more instructions stored from the storage medium and execute it. This enables the machine to be operated to perform at least one function according to the at least one called instruction. The one or more instructions may include code generated by a compiler or code that can be executed by an interpreter. The storage medium readable by the machine may be provided in the form of a non-transitory storage medium. Here, 'non-temporary' simply means that the storage medium is a tangible device and does not contain a signal (e.g., electromagnetic waves), and the term does not distinguish between cases where data is stored semi-permanently and cases where it is stored temporarily.

[0273] According to one embodiment, the method according to the various embodiments disclosed herein may be provided by being included in a computer program product. The computer program product may be traded between a seller and a buyer as a product. The computer program product may be distributed in the form of a device-readable storage medium (e.g., compact disc read-only memory (CD-ROM)), or distributed online (e.g., download or upload) through an application store (e.g., Play Store™) or directly between two user devices (e.g., smartphones). In the case of online distribution, at least a portion of the computer program product may be temporarily stored or temporarily created on a device-readable storage medium, such as the memory of a manufacturer's server, an application store's server, or a relay server.

[0274] According to various embodiments, each component (e.g., module or program) of the components described above may include a singular or multiple entities, and some of the multiple entities may be separated and placed in other components. According to various embodiments, one or more of the components or operations of the aforementioned components may be omitted, or one or more other components or operations may be added. Generally or additionally, multiple components (e.g., module or program) may be integrated into a single component. In this case, the integrated component may perform one or more functions of each of the multiple components in the same or similar manner as those performed by the corresponding component among the multiple components prior to integration. According to various embodiments, operations performed by the module, program, or other components may be executed sequentially, in parallel, iteratively, or heuristically, or one or more of the operations may be executed in a different order, omitted, or one or more other operations may be added.
