Scarf with integrated waterproof coat

Abstract

The design concerns a scarf convertible into a raincoat; a zipper along the scarf's edge permits unfolding of the integrated rainwear; the scarf is affixed to the back neckline of the raincoat, which includes a hood with a foldable cap secured by concealed fasteners; gloves are attached at the sleeve ends and can be stowed in hidden sleeve pockets; when not in use, the raincoat is folded into the scarf, which is closed by the zipper, forming the scarf; Fig. 1.1 shows the front view of the scarf; dotted lines indicate the fold line and form part of the claimed design; a zipper along the outer edge encloses the folded rainwear and restores the scarf form; Fig. 1.2 shows the front view of the unfolded raincoat, with the scarf attached to the back neckline; the hood includes a cap folded inside and secured with concealed fasteners; Fig. 1.3 shows the back view of the raincoat with the hood up, and the scarf attached to the neckline; Fig. 1.4 shows the back view of the raincoat with the hood down; the hood includes a cap folded inside and secured with concealed fasteners; Fig. 1.5 shows a partial view of the gloves permanently attached to the end of the sleeve; the glove may be turned inward and inserted into a concealed pocket located within the sleeve; the blue area represents the concealed pocket inside the sleeve where the glove can be folded and stored when not in use; the glove is optional in use but is always present as part of the design due to its fixed attachment at the sleeve end.
