Ornamentation for chessboard

Abstract

The design relates to ornamentation for a chessboard; it consists of a square-shaped gaming board featuring uniformly arranged alternating black / white squares, forming a checkered playing surface; the board includes coordinate markings around its boundary, labeled with Latin letters (A–M) along the horizontal axis and numerals (1–10) along the vertical axis; the playing field consists of a 10�10 grid, which differs from the standard 8�8 chessboard; the coordinate labels are positioned around the board's edges and include a non-standard combination of letters and numbers; the design ensures convenience through clear visual separation of squares and high contrast color.
