This invention discloses a construction method for a municipal drainage
culvert settling channel, comprising the following steps: S1, construction preparation, and setting a permeable layer, a
biological filter layer, and a
vegetation buffer zone at the bottom of the
settling channel; S2, component
prefabrication construction, with components adopting prefabricated
reinforced concrete component structures; S3,
subbase construction; S4,
pipe body installation; S5,
waterproofing and protective layer, filling the outside of the settlement joint with
asphalt hemp fiber and the inside with
cement mortar, combined with waterproof
coating or roll material to form a composite waterproof layer; S6, backfilling and compaction, symmetrically compacting both sides of the
culvert body with small machinery, each layer loosely laid to a thickness ≤20cm, and mechanically filling after reaching a height of 1m above the
culvert top. The advantages of this invention are: It uses prefabricated
pipe-type culvert components and high-precision steel molds, facilitating on-site
construction management; and utilizes the flexibility of corrugated steel
pipe culverts to pre-deform the culvert, ensuring that the culvert maintains its original shape after backfilling, avoiding the unfavorable situation of the culvert evolving from a circular culvert to a flat culvert or even collapsing.
