ZINGIBERACEAE PLANT EXTRACT, ITS COMPOSITION, AND ITS USE IN PEST CONTROL

Claims

This application, for the first time, reveals the excellent insect-resistant activity of a Zingiberaceae plant extract against pests such as agricultural mite pests and thrips, and a synergistic combination and co-extraction synergy relationship between extracts of different Zingiberaceae species, thus extending the application interval of the Zingiberaceae extract and also providing a new option for controlling mite pests and thrips in agriculture.

1. An insecticidal composition, comprising a mixture of an extract of rhizoma zingiberis recens and an extract of rhizoma kaempferia in a ratio of (1 - 9):(9 - 1), wherein the extract of rhizoma zingiberis recens is prepared by extracting rhizoma zingiberis recens with ethanol and ethyl acetate in a ratio of (1 - 4):1; and the extract of rhizoma kaempferia is a volatile oil of rhizoma kaempferia.
