A Mobile Anchoring System that allows vessels and floating platforms moored to its anchor lines to be repositioned, moving them from one point to another and, if necessary, returning to their initial position as many times as required, without having to cast off mooring lines, navigate, maneuver, or re-moor them in the other position. This can be done manually or automatically from shore using winches, windlasses, capstans, etc. In certain cases, these winches can be installed on specially designed floating platforms. The system allows vessels and floating platforms anchored at swing moorings to be moved to shore so they can anchor perpendicular to or parallel with docks or the coast, and, if necessary, return to their initial position. The system also allows vessels and floating platforms to be moved from one swing mooring to another, operating from winches and other means on shore. The system also simplifies anchoring vessels perpendicular to the coast or docks and simplifies anchoring in marinas, avoiding the need for tenders and auxiliary vessels for embarking and disembarking people and supplies.
