Claims

To identify an NK progenitor cell and provide a method for producing a mature NK cell or a CAR-NK cell using the progenitor cell, it was discovered that CD56-CD34- cells are NK progenitor cells that serve as the primary origin in the production of CAR-NK cells.

1. An isolated natural killer (NK) progenitor cell negative for CD56 and CD34.

3. An isolated cell population characterized in that it comprises NK progenitor cells, wherein 60% or more of the total cells in the population are NK progenitor cells according to claim 1 or 2.

4. A method for producing an NK cell, characterized in that it comprises a step of culturing the NK progenitor cell according to claim 1 in the presence of a feeder cell and / or a cytokine, wherein the NK cell is a mature CD56-positive NK cell, and the cytokine is at least one cytokine selected from the group consisting of IL-2, IL-7, IL-12, IL-21, IL-15, and IL-18.
