Abstract

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing an inner lining from a sandwich structure, the method comprising: producing a web (20) whose fibres (15) form an average angle (a) with respect to the longitudinal direction (X); passing the web (20) through a tacking system (28); passing the web (20) on a conveyor (34) provided with brushes; depositing a first pre-needled layer (38) of fibres (17) on the accumulated undulations; combining the accumulated undulations with the first pre-needled layer (38) by needle punching; combining the structure with a second pre-needled layer (38') of fibres (17') in order to obtain a sandwich structure (12A); and separating the sandwich structure (12A) in order to obtain two symmetrical velvet coverings (12, 12').
