Abstract
The invention relates to a key with a key head and a key shaft (10), wherein at least partially along the length axis (L) the key shaft (10) has a warping section (20), in particular cold-formed, wherein within a transition region to the warping section (26) the key shaft (10) is characterized by a certain basic cross-section (26), wherein within the warping section (20) and in the direction towards the key top (70) the cross-section (30) of the key shaft (10) protrudes at least partially beyond the basic cross-section (26).
