Abstract

The invention relates to a method for forming a selective multilayer filter (1) for spectral separation of solar radiation, which filter is suitable for being placed in photovoltaic panels for use in energy production facilities, wherein the multilayer filter (1) comprises a plurality of layers (2) of different refractive index and thickness, wherein the method is characterized in that it comprises performing a series of steps for forming said multilayer filter (1) so as to maximize photovoltaic and thermal efficiency. The invention also relates to a multilayer filter (1) formed using said method. The invention further relates to an installation for producing energy by exploiting solar energy, comprising the use of at least one multilayer filter (1) formed using said method.
