Detailed description of the embodiment

[0014] It will be on the Fig. 1 to 10. The present invention relates to a panel cutting device 100 suitable for cutting the joining surface of one side of a plurality of panels 70 so that the joining surfaces of two panels 70 can be smoothly joined. For example, the panels 70 can be plasterboard or other panel-like materials that can be used for joining.

[0015] The plate cutting device 100 includes a main body 10, a first cutting structure 20, and a second cutting structure 30. The main body 10 may be, but is not limited to, a block-like structure that can be easily held by the user. The main body 10 has a length direction A1.

[0016] The first cutting structure 20 is arranged on one side of the main body 10 and has a first guide groove 21 and a first cutting section 22 arranged in the first guide groove 21, wherein the first cutting section 22 has a pair of first cutting regions 221 and a first non-cutting region 222, the two first cutting regions 221 are arranged at a distance from each other and are connected to two opposite side walls of the first guide groove 21, the first non-cutting region 222 is recessed in the region between the two first cutting regions 221, each first cutting region 221 has a plurality of first cutting parts 2215 and the first cutting parts 2215 protrude from the upper surfaces of the corresponding first cutting regions 221.

[0017] The second cutting structure 30 is arranged on the opposite side of the main body 10 from the first cutting structure 20. Therefore, the user can simply flip the main body 10 to switch between the desired cutting structures, making it very easy to use.

[0018] The second cutting structure 30 has a second guide groove 31 and a second cutting section 32 arranged in the second guide groove 31, wherein the second cutting section 32 has a second cutting region 321 and a pair of second non-cutting regions 322, the two second non-cutting regions 322 are arranged at a distance from each other and are connected to two opposite side walls of the second guide groove 31, the second cutting region 321 protrudes from the region between the two second non-cutting regions 322 and has a plurality of second cutting parts 3215 and the second cutting parts 3215 protrude from the upper surfaces of the corresponding second cutting regions 321.

[0019] Here, the first guide groove 21 of the first cutting structure 20 is designed such that it can be plugged onto a side of a plate 70, whereby the first cutting section 22 can cut the side of the plate 70 along the length direction A1 to form a protruding structure 701. Similarly, the second guide groove 31 of the second cutting structure 30 can be plugged onto a side of a plate 70, whereby the second cutting section 32 can cut the side of the plate 70 along the length direction A1 to form a recessed structure 702.

[0020] It is understood that after cutting a respective side of two plates 70 by means of the first cutting structure 20 and the second cutting structure 30, respectively, a protruding structure 701 and a recessed structure 702 can be formed on one side of the two plates 70, so that two plates 70 can be matched to each other by the protruding structure and the recessed structure.

[0021] Specifically, the protruding structure 701 and the recessed structure 702 are mainly used to join two plates 70, so the required cutting area need not be so large. With the present invention, after each side of two plates 70 is cut by the first cutting structure 20 and the second cutting structure 30, the protruding structure 701 only slightly protrudes from one side of a plate 70, and the recessed structure 702 is only slightly recessed into one side of a plate 70, so that the two plates 70 can be joined by butt-joining the protruding structure and the recessed structure.

[0022] In the structural design, the width of the first guide groove 21 of the first cutting structure 20 and the width of the second guide groove 31 of the second cutting structure 30 are equal to the thickness of a plate, so that stability can be ensured during the cutting process after the first guide groove 21 and the second guide groove 31 are respectively attached to one side of a plate 70. Furthermore, the width of the first non-cutting area 222 of the first cutting structure 20 is equal to the width of the second cutting area 321 of the second cutting structure 30, so that the protruding structure 701 cut by the first cutting section 22 can be matched with the recessed structure 702 cut by the second cutting section 32.

[0023] In some embodiments, each first cutting region 221 of the first cutting section 22 has a plurality of first through-holes 2211 and the second cutting region 321 of the second cutting section 32 has a plurality of second through-holes 3211, wherein a respective first cutting part 2215 is arranged around the circumference of the corresponding first through-hole 2211 and a respective second cutting part 3215 is arranged around the circumference of the corresponding second through-hole 3211.

[0024] For example, the first cutting structure 20 and the second cutting structure 30 are made of metal materials, the first through holes 2211 and the second through holes 3211 are formed by punching, and the sharp metal burrs remaining after punching directly form the first cutting parts 2215 and the second cutting parts 3215.

[0025] To achieve a good cutting effect for the first cutting parts 2215 and the second cutting parts 3215, in some embodiments, the first through holes 2211 of the first cutting section 22 are arranged offset, and the second through holes 3211 of the second cutting section 32 are arranged offset. It is understood that with this offset arrangement, the first cutting parts 2215 of the first through holes 2211 and the second cutting parts 3215 of the second through holes 3211 can perform a smooth cutting operation, thereby reducing cutting resistance and improving the cutting effect, resulting in higher work efficiency.

[0026] In some other embodiments, the distance between two first through-holes 2211 is less than or equal to the diameter of a first through-hole 2211 and the distance between two second through-holes 3211 is less than or equal to the diameter of a second through-hole 3211. As shown in the Fig. 6 and Fig. 7, the distance between two first through holes 2211 and the distance between two second through holes 3211 can also be set to different sizes depending on the actual requirements.

[0027] It should be noted that by the arrangement and the spaced design of the through holes, the first through holes 2211 and the second through holes 3211 are arranged obliquely in front of and behind each other to reduce the cutting resistance and effectively improve the cutting effect and speed.

[0028] In order to increase the comfort of use during the cutting process, the first cutting section 221 is further provided with a first input end 2217 and a first guide segment 2218, wherein the height of the first guide segment 2218 gradually decreases towards the first input end 2217, so that the first guide segment 2218 forms an inclined surface. As shown in the Fig. 4 and Fig. 8, in use, the first input end 2217 is aligned with the end of one side of a plate 70, the plate cutting device 100 is pushed along the length direction A1 toward the first input end 2217, the first guide groove 21 is fitted onto the side of the plate 70, and the first cutting portion 221 is smoothly brought into contact with the side of the plate 70 by the guidance of the first guide segment 2218 to form the projecting structure 701 by cutting.

[0029] Similarly, the second cutting portion 321 is further provided with a second input end 3217 and a second guide segment 3218, wherein the height of the second guide segment 3218 gradually decreases toward the second input end 3217, so that the second guide segment 3218 forms an inclined surface. As shown in the Fig. 5 and Fig. 9, in use, the second input end 3217 is aligned with the end of one side of a plate 70, the plate cutting device 100 is pushed along the length direction A1 toward the second input end 3217, the second guide groove 31 is fitted onto the side of the plate 70, and the second cutting portion 321 is smoothly brought into contact with the side of the plate 70 by the guidance of the second guide segment 3218 to form the recessed structure 702 by cutting.

[0030] It should be noted that for a clear representation of the cutting process in the Fig. 4 and Fig. 8 only the first cutting structure 20 is shown and the main body 10 and the second cutting structure 30 are omitted, while in the Fig. 5 and Fig. 9 only the second cutting structure 30 is shown and the main body 10 and the first cutting structure 20 are omitted.

[0031] The plate cutting device 100 further comprises a plurality of fastening elements 50, wherein the first non-cutting area 222 has a plurality of first mounting holes 20A and the two second non-cutting areas 322 each have a plurality of second mounting holes 30A, wherein the fastening elements 50 are each passed through the corresponding first mounting holes 20A and the second mounting holes 30A in order to fasten the first cutting structure 20 and the second cutting structure 30 in the first mounting recess 11 and the second mounting recess 12, respectively.

[0032] As in Fig.11, the present invention further provides a method comprising the steps of:

[0033] Step (A) S101: Prepare the plate cutting device 100 and at least two plates 70, such as rectangular gypsum boards.

[0034] Step (B) S102: Cutting one side of a plate 70 by the first cutting portion 22 to form a protruding structure 701; and cutting one side of another plate 70 by the second cutting portion 32 to form a recessed structure 702.

[0035] Step (C) S103: Joining the protruding structure 701 of one plate 70 with the recessed structure 702 of the other plate 70 to effect the connection of the two plates 70.

[0036] From the above description, it can be seen that with the present invention, the connecting surfaces on one side of two plates are cut into a projecting structure and a recessed structure, respectively, by means of the first cutting structure and the second cutting structure in order to ensure a stable connection of the two plates and thus effectively solve the problems caused by uneven connecting surfaces in the prior art.
