Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a fastening of a fitting part, in particular a hinge part of a hinge for doors, windows and the like.
[0002] A fastening device for a hinge part is known from DE 30 15 354 A1. The fixed frame and the sash frame consist of hollow profiles, with a C-shaped profile groove being provided on each of the sides facing each other when the sash is closed, which is open to the outside, i.e. towards the other frame. The fitting component in this case is a hinged hinge, the two flat hinge parts of which engage between the frame profiles from the hinge pin located in front of the frame. A strip-like clamping part is arranged inside each C-shaped profile groove. Transverse to the hinge parts orScrews running between the clamping parts clamp the hinge parts and the corresponding clamping parts against each other, so that the opposing edge lips of the C-shaped profile groove are clamped between the respective hinge part and the respective clamping part, thus securing the hinge at any point along the length of the profile. The disadvantage of this is that the clamping parts must be inserted into the profile groove before the frame is assembled from the profile bars, or the edge lips must be partially removed to insert the clamping part into the profile groove.
[0003] To avoid this, an alternative fastening is known from DE 29711790 U1. With this fastening, a profile groove with a C-shaped cross-section is provided on one fastening side of the profile bars from which the frame is composed. Since the frame is assembled from four profile bars to form a sash, at least two profile bars run orthogonal to each other and form a sash corner. In order to fasten a hinge part, the fastening part and the clamping part engage crosswise in the profile groove, each resting with one side in the groove against the inside of one edge lip and on the other side of the groove against the outside of the opposite edge lip.Although this design allows for any positioning of the fastening, due to the X-shape it has the disadvantage that it springs back to a certain extent and that the different lengths of the lever arms result in an unfavourable and uneven distribution of force and torque.
[0004] WO 2016 / 182852 A1 discloses a fastening comparable to DE 29711790 U1. However, an additional clamping plate is provided so that the clampable abutment in the profile groove is in two parts. A first plate with a straight longitudinal edge and a row of teeth opposite this longitudinal edge along the second longitudinal edge is pushed under one of the edge strips. The second plate has an angled portion and window-like openings. During assembly, the angled portion engages the bottom of the second edge strip and by pivoting the two plates, the row of teeth of the first plate can engage in the openings of the second plate. When the plates are poured into the profile groove, the two plates rest on each other and are pressed against the lateral groove edges. The hinge part rests on the edge strips with clamping sections and presses the two plates into the clamped position and pulls the two plates against the underside of the edge strips. For this purpose, connecting screws can penetrate the hinge section and find a support in the first plate. The screws penetrate the hinge section and the second plate through holes. The threaded holes in the first plate are provided with sleeve-like collars to optimize the required thread length. The collars engage in holes or recesses in the second plate. This arrangement ensures even tightening of the two plates, so that the edge strips are evenly clamped between the plates and the hinge section. Manufacturing the plates is complicated if they are to be made of steel to withstand the high forces.
[0005] The object of the invention is to provide a fastening of a fitting part which requires a small number of components and can absorb high forces.
[0006] To solve this problem, the fastening part is angled, and the angled leg engages the profile groove of an adjacent profile bar, which runs orthogonally to the profile groove. This design supports the sash against the angled component, and the fastening part is protected against twisting. Only two components need to be aligned, and their position relative to the frame is determined by the geometry of the fastening part.
[0007] In order to maximize the load-bearing capacity and optimize the alignment, the angled leg is provided with a first section which tapers between the edge lips and is supported on the groove base of the profile groove.
[0008] In order to achieve a problem-free relative alignment of the fastening part on the frame, the angled leg is provided with a second section which is supported on the edge lips.
[0009] In order to optimise the fastening, the band part is designed to form a clamping hook which is attached to a base bar and engages under an edge lip.
[0010] To optimize the absorption of forces occurring transversely to the profile groove, the hinge part is provided with a longitudinal strip on its underside facing the profile groove, which rests against the edge lip. This also simplifies the alignment of the hinge part.
[0011] The engagement of the fastening part in the profile groove is ensured by the fact that the fastening part has a bevel on the longer leg, which points in the direction of the base web and is dimensioned such that it rests on the edge strip, which is gripped under by the clamping hook.
[0012] To ensure the correct positioning of the hinge part, the clamping hook on the base web extends the entire length of the base web and engages a break in the bevel. This ensures that the hinge tab and fastening part are aligned with a positive fit along the profile groove.
[0013] If the fastening part in the corner area of the two legs has a dimension that is smaller than the clear distance between the edge strips, then the installation of the fastening part does not require an interruption of the edge lips in the immediate corner area.
[0014] Further advantageous embodiments are shown in the drawings. They show: Fig. 1 the completed fastening of a fitting using a hinge for a window or door, Fig. 2 an enlarged section of the Fig. 1, which shows the profile groove and the fastening of the band, Fig. 3 a first assembly step with an angular fastening part mounted in a profile groove, and Fig. 4 a further assembly step following the one in Fig. 3 assembly step shown.
[0015] Fig. 1 shows the fastening of a hinge 1 to a profile bar 2 shown in section. The profile bar 2 has a profile groove 3. The profile groove 3 is formed by a web 5 running perpendicular to the groove base 4. The web 5 runs parallel to a lap 6. At its free end 7, the lap 6 has a groove 8 for fastening a seal 9. A cantilever arm 10 of the hinge 1 extends beyond the end 7. The end of the cantilever arm 10 forms a hinge sleeve 11. The cantilever arm 10 is connected to an angled hinge part 12. In the assembled position, the hinge part 12 extends parallel to the fold 13. A further web 14 is provided on the fold 13 and runs parallel to the web 5 perpendicular to the groove base 4. Edge lips 15, 16 facing one another are attached to the web 5 and the web 14. Between the edge lips 15, 16 there is an opening for receiving and passing fittings into the profile groove 3.
[0016] On the edge lip 15, the band part 12 rests with a step 17, as in the Fig. 2. The step 17 is formed by a shoulder that is recessed relative to a longitudinal strip 18. The longitudinal strip 18 rests on the end face 19 of the edge lip 15.
[0017] A fastening part 20 is mounted in the profile groove 3. The fastening part 20 engages under the edge lip 15 and projects with a longitudinal edge 21 up to the web 5. At the edge 22 opposite the longitudinal edge 21, the fastening part 20 is supported by a bevel 23 on the edge lip 16. As will be shown later, the bevels 23 extend only over a partial length of the fastening part 20. The bevel 23 forms a large radius that allows the fastening part 20 to pivot inward.
[0018] A clamping hook 24 is attached to the longitudinal edge of the hinge part 12 remote from the cantilever arm 10. The clamping hook 24 is shaped and dimensioned such that it can be inserted between the edge lip 16 and the groove base 4 and screwed in. For this purpose, the clamping hook 24 protrudes like a finger from the base web 25, so that a laterally open groove 26 is created above the clamping hook 24, into which the edge lip 16 can be inserted. The shape and dimensions of the clamping hook 24 are selected such that the base web 25 can be inclined by up to 60° relative to the fold 13 (see Fig. 5).
[0019] Threaded holes are provided in the fastening part 20, through which sleeve-like protrusions 28 extend. In the assembled state, the protrusions 26 project into a groove-like recess 29 of the fastening part 20.
[0020] The fastening of the band 1 to the profile bar is explained using the following figures. Fig. Figure 3 shows a first assembly step, in which the fastening part 20 is brought to a frame corner consisting of the profile bars 6 and 27. The fastening part 20 is tilted so that the longitudinal edge 21 can be pushed under the edge lip 15. As can be seen from the Fig. As can be seen in Figure 4, the edge lips 15, 16 and the edge lips 30, 31 of the profile bar 27 abut each other in the immediate corner area, so that they abut one another without a gap. Therefore, the insertion of the longitudinal edge 21 can only take place above the joint with the first leg 32 of the fastening part 20. The fastening part 20 is then pivoted back and in the Fig. 3 is moved in the direction of the arrow 33 until the second leg 34 pushes off the second profile bar 27.
[0021] The fastening part 20 is angular and the second leg 34 is connected to the first leg 32 via a section 35. The section 35 is provided with a dimension 36 which is smaller than the clear distance 37 ( Fig. 1) of the edge lips 15, 16, 30, 31. This design allows the fastening part 20 to be moved in the direction of the arrow 33 until the leg 34 abuts the profile bar 27.
[0022] The shorter second leg 34 has a first section 38 whose width 39 is significantly larger than the distance 37. As a result, the section 38 rests on the edge lips 15, 16, 30, 31. A second section 40 lies at the free end of the leg 34 and is narrower than the distance 37. This section 40 is angled toward the groove base 41 of the profile groove 42 and thus engages between the edge lips 30, 31 and is supported on the groove base 41.
[0023] The first, longer leg 32 is provided with two bevels 23. The bevels 23 are identical and spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction of the leg 32. A bore 43 is provided at the free end of the leg 32.
[0024] In addition, a clamping element 44 is mounted in the section 38. Clamping elements 44 of this type are already known. A T-slot nut is known from DE 7025063 U1. A T-slot nut is disclosed which has a clamping area for transmitting force into a T-shaped groove of a structural profile. The clamping area extends into the groove of the profile with its narrow side. The clamping area rests positively on the T-slot with its broad side after the T-slot nut has been rotated upwards during the assembly process. The clamping area has a locking area which is designed such that, in the assembly position of the T-slot nut, it fills the narrow area of the profile's T-slot such that rotation of the T-slot nut is no longer possible after a 90° rotation starting from the joining position. The clamping element 44 secures the fastening part 20 in the profile groove 42.
[0025] The Fig. Figure 5 shows a further assembly step. Hinge 1 is inserted relative to rebate 13 with the clamping hook 24 between the bevels 23 into the space between fastening part 20 and web 14. Because fastening part 20 assumes a defined orientation relative to sash edge 45, hinge 1 also assumes a defined position relative to the frame, which is composed of profile bars 2, 27, and other profile bars not shown here.
[0026] Following the Fig.In the position shown in Figure 5, the hinge 2 is pivoted with the base web 25 in the direction of the profile groove 3. The clamping hook 24 forms a pivot bearing between the web 14, the edge lip 16 and the groove base 4. When the base web 25 abuts the end face 19 of the edge lip 15 with the longitudinal strip 18, the relative alignment is complete and the alignment can be fixed with the screws 46. The screws 46 find their abutment in the threaded holes 47 of the fastening part 20. By tightening the screws 46, the fastening part 20 is braced against the base web 25 and the edge lips 15, 16. If the frame is heavy as a sash frame, the leg 34 provides additional support for the frame. Additional stability can be achieved by attaching an additional screw 48 which passes through the hole 40.In summary, the assembly method for attaching the fitting part includes at least the following method steps: inserting the fastening part 20 in the profile groove 3 under a first edge lip 15, inserting a hinge part 12 having the clamping hook 24 under the second edge lip 16, which is opposite the edge lip 15 in the profile groove 3 and pivoting the hinge part 12 until the hinge part 12 assumes its fastening position.
[0027] Further process steps concern the relative alignment of the fastening part 20 to the profile bars 2, 27, if necessary using the clamping element 44 and finally, the fixing of the band part 12 to the fastening part 20 by means of screws.
[0028] Although the fitting shown is a hinge of a window or a door, the connection can be advantageously made on structures that consist of profile bars arranged at right angles and that require fastening of a component in the corner area.
