Abstract

A battery module comprising: a stack on which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; a pair of first components each disposed at both ends in the direction of the stacking axis of the stack, such that they clamp the stack between them; and a pair of end plates each disposed at both ends in the direction of the stack axis, such that they clamp the stack between them via the first components, wherein the first components are single-layer components containing an elastic body, and are disposed so that they contact the battery cells and the end plates.
