Abstract
[Problem] To solve the strength problem of artificial retaining walls, a construction method is provided that uses a simple construction method with artificial retaining wall materials to increase the strength of the wall and prevent the wall from collapsing by connecting it to the support. [Solution] According to a general artificial retaining wall construction method, after excavation and foundation construction are performed, fiber ropes are passed horizontally and vertically through holes drilled in the retaining wall material up, down, left, and right to connect the materials together. The fiber rope connected to the retaining wall material is connected to a longitudinal connecting member, and is installed and fixed on a supporting material (e.g., ground, sheet pile, etc.) behind the retaining wall. This construction method generates a tensile force by fastening and tensioning the connecting member connected to the supporting material, and resists the pressure applied forward. In the retaining wall materials connected to the fiber ropes connected at multiple intervals, a filling member is poured in the same way as in a general retaining wall construction method, and the retaining wall material and the fiber material are solidified and fixed over time.
