Abstract
Claims
CLAIMS 1. A method for manufacturing vehicle wheel tires comprising: - moving a plurality of manufacturing drums (202) along a closed first-stage path (201), - moving a plurality of casing liners in process (204) along an open first-stage path (203), wherein each casing liner in process (204) of said plurality of casing liners in process (204) is manufactured along a common first-stage operating section (205) between said closed first-stage path (201) and said open first-stage path (203) on a corresponding manufacturing drum (202) of said plurality of manufacturing drums (202), and wherein said open first-stage path (203) culminates in a clamping ring (400) disposed in a reference position, - moving a plurality of auxiliary drums (302) along a closed second-stage path (301),- moving a plurality of outer linings in process (304) along an open second-stage path (303), wherein each outer lining in process (304) of said plurality of outer linings in process (304) is manufactured and moved along a second-stage operating section (305) common to said closed second-stage path (301) and said open second-stage path (303) onto a corresponding auxiliary drum (302) of said plurality of auxiliary drums (302), and wherein said second open second-stage path (303) culminates at said clamping ring (400), - at the end of the operating section of the second stage (305), separating a first outer lining in process (304a) from the corresponding auxiliary drum (302) from said plurality of outer linings in process (304) and clamping said first outer lining in process by means of said clamping ring (400), - at the end of the open first-stage path (203),A first casing liner in process (204a) is arranged from among said plurality of casing liners in process (204) in a coaxial and radially interior position with respect to the first outer liner in process (304a) held by said clamping ring (400), forming, within the clamping ring (400), said first casing liner in process (204a), and assembling it with said first outer liner in process (304a) to obtain a first green tire in process.
2. The method for manufacturing tires for vehicle wheels according to claim 1, wherein said clamping ring (400) performs a radially external contrasting function during the shaping of the first casing liner in process (204a).
3. The method for manufacturing vehicle tires according to claim 1 or 2, comprising monitoring the force exerted by the first in-process casing liner (204a) on the clamping ring (400) and the force exerted by the first in-process casing liner (304a) during the shaping of the first in-process casing liner (204a).
4. The method for manufacturing tires for vehicle wheels according to one or more of the preceding claims, wherein said first-stage open path (203) comprises an end section (203a) disposed within a forming machine (500) and culminating in said clamping ring (400), and wherein said first casing liner in process (204a) is axially moved along said end section (203a) associated with a forming drum (504) until it is disposed in a coaxial and radially interior position relative to the first outer liner in process (304a) held by said clamping ring (400).
5. The method for manufacturing tires for vehicle wheels according to claim 4 comprising: - removing from said clamping ring (400), the forming drum (504) carrying the first green tire (506) in process, moving it along a finishing path (507). - performing a rolling action of said first green tire in process (506) associated with said forming drum (504) in a rolling station (600) arranged along said finishing path (507).
6. The method for manufacturing tires for vehicle wheels according to claim 5, comprising placing said first green tire in process (506) again in said clamping ring (400), after said rolling action, wherein said finishing path (507) is a closed path that begins and ends in said clamping ring (400).
7. The method for manufacturing tires for vehicle wheels according to claim 6, comprising separating said first green tire in process (506) from the forming drum (504) at the end of the finishing stroke (507) and securing said first green tire in process (506) by means of said clamping ring (400).
8. The method for manufacturing tires for vehicle wheels according to claim 7, comprising performing a quality control of said first green tire in process (506) by means of said clamping ring (400).
9. The method for manufacturing tires for vehicle wheels according to claim 7 or 8, wherein said finishing path (507) is arranged within said forming machine (500).
10. The method for manufacturing tires for vehicle wheels according to claim 9, comprising removing said first green tire in process (506) from said forming machine (500) and from said clamping ring (400), at the end of the finishing stroke (507).
11. The method for manufacturing tires for vehicle wheels according to one or more of the preceding claims, wherein the action of separating said first outer liner in process (304a) from the corresponding auxiliary drum (302) is carried out by means of said clamping ring (400) whereby said second stage operating section (305) terminates in said clamping ring (400).
12. The method for manufacturing tires for vehicle wheels according to claim 11, wherein separating said first outer casing in process (304a) from the respective auxiliary drum (302) comprises: - axially moving the auxiliary drum (302) carrying the first outer casing in process (304a) and inserting it into the clamping ring (400) at a first access (400a) of the clamping ring itself until it reaches a position radially within the clamping ring (400), - clamping said first outer casing in process (304a) by means of said clamping ring (400), while the auxiliary drum (302) is axially extracted from the first outer casing in process (304a).

The method for manufacturing tires for vehicle wheels according to claim 12, wherein arranging said first casing liner in process (204a) in a coaxial and radially interior position with respect to the first outer liner in process (304a) comprises axially moving said first casing liner in process (204a) and inserting it into the clamping ring (400) in a second access (400b) of the clamping ring axially opposite to said first access (400a).
14. The method for manufacturing tires for vehicle wheels according to any of the preceding claims comprising: - manufacturing, by depositing semi-finished products, a first part of the components of a casing liner in process (204) along a first part (205a) of said first-stage operating section (205), wherein said first part of the components comprises at least one casing layer (4a, 4b), - by spirally rotating a continuous elongated element, manufacturing a second part of components of a casing liner in process (204) along a second part (205b) of said first-stage operating section (205), wherein said second part of the components comprises at least one between anti-abrasive inserts and at least one part of the sidewalls (11).
15. The method for manufacturing tires for vehicle wheels according to claim 14, comprising performing a bead forming action in a position arranged between said first part (205a) and said second part (205b) of the operating section of the first stage (205), wherein said bead forming action comprises coupling axially opposite ends of a casing liner in process (204) to corresponding annular anchoring structures. 5 16. The method for manufacturing tires for vehicle wheels according to any of the preceding claims comprising: - manufacturing, by depositing semi-finished products, a first part of the components of an outer casing in process (304) along a first part (305a) of the second-stage operating section (305), wherein said first part of the components comprises at least one layer of belts (8a, 8b), - by spirally rotating a continuous elongated element, manufacturing a second part of components of an outer casing in process (304) along a second part (305b) of the second-stage operating section (305), wherein said second part of components comprises at least one tread (9).
17. The method for manufacturing tires for vehicle wheels according to any of the preceding claims, wherein along said first stage operating section 25 (205) common between said closed first stage path (201) and said open first stage path (203), each casing liner in process (204) of said plurality of casing liners in process moves on a corresponding manufacturing drum (202) of said plurality of manufacturing drums 5.
18. The plant for manufacturing vehicle wheel tires comprising: 10 - a first-stage manufacturing line (200) defining a closed first-stage path (201) for moving a plurality of manufacturing drums (202) and an open first-stage path (203) for manufacturing and moving in-process casing liners (204), wherein said closed first-stage path (201) and said open first-stage path (203) have a common first-stage operating section (205) for manufacturing and moving each in-process casing liner (204) of said plurality of in-process casing liners (204) associated with a corresponding manufacturing drum (202) 20 of said plurality of manufacturing drums (202), and wherein said first-stage manufacturing line (200) comprises a plurality of first-stage workstations (206a-206h) arranged along a portion of the operating section of the first stage (205),- a second-stage manufacturing line (300) defining a closed second-stage path (301) for moving a plurality of auxiliary drums (302) and an open second-stage path (303) for manufacturing and moving a plurality of in-process outer liners (304), wherein said closed second-stage path (301) and said open second-stage path (303) have a common second-stage operating section (305) for manufacturing and moving each in-process outer liner (304) of said plurality of in-process outer liners (304) associated with a corresponding auxiliary drum (302) of said plurality of auxiliary drums (302), and wherein said second-stage manufacturing line (300) comprises a plurality of second-stage workstations (306a-306f) arranged along a portion of the second-stage operating section (305), - a clamping ring (400) arranged in a fixed reference position,wherein said second-stage open path (303) and said first-stage open path (203) terminate at said clamping ring (400) configured for the assembly of said first in-process housing liner (204a) with a first in-process outer liner (304a).
19. The plant for manufacturing tires for vehicle wheels according to claim 18, wherein: - at least one first-stage workstation (206a-206e) comprising a dispensing device (209) for semi-finished product is placed along a first part (205a) of said first-stage operating section (205) for manufacturing a first part of the components of a casing liner in process (204), wherein said first part of the components comprises at least one casing layer (4a, 4b), - at least one first-stage workstation (206g-206h) comprising a device for dispensing a continuous elongated element (212) arranged along a second part (205b) of said first-stage operating section (205) for manufacturing a second part of the components of a casing liner in process (204), wherein said second part of the components comprises at least one between the anti-abrasion insert and at least one part of the sidewalls (11).
20. The plant for manufacturing tires for vehicle wheels according to claim 19, wherein said first-stage manufacturing line comprises a workstation (206f) configured to build beads arranged between said first part (205a) and said second part (205b) of said first-stage operating section (205).
21. The plant for manufacturing tires for vehicle wheels according to any of claims 18 to 2o, wherein: 5 - at least one second-stage workstation (306a-306e) comprising a dispensing device (309) for semi-finished product is placed along a first part (305a) of said second-stage operating section (305) for manufacturing a first part of the components of an outer liner in process, 10 wherein said first part of the components comprises at least one layer of belts (8a, 8b), - at least one second-stage workstation (306d-306f) comprising a device for dispensing a continuous elongated element 15 (312) arranged along a second part (305b) of said second-stage operating section (305) for manufacturing a second part of the components of a casing liner in process, wherein said second part of components comprises at least one tread (9). 20 22.The plant for manufacturing tires for vehicle wheels according to any of claims 18 to 20, wherein said clamping ring (400) is configured to perform a radially external contrast function during the shaping of the first casing liner in process (204a).
