Abstract
A utility model relating to an integrated solar-powered grass-cutting machine is disclosed. The machine comprises a support frame mounted on a plurality of traction wheels for movement over grassy terrain and a cutting assembly having at least one rotary grass-cutting blade with a protective blade cover. The machine is powered by an electrical power subsystem including a photovoltaic solar panel, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, and a solar charge controller. A cutting-height adjustment system is provided, wherein a servo motor is operatively coupled to the cutting assembly and controlled through a user-actuated push button to selectively vary the cutting height. A mode-selection toggle switch enables selective operation of the machine in either an automatic mode or a user-controlled mode. An electronic control unit (ECU) is operatively connected to the cutting assembly and the electrical power subsystem, and is further coupled to at least three obstacle detection sensors arranged to detect obstacles along left, center, and right travel paths of the machine. The ECU is configured to control cutting operations and to execute obstacle avoidance maneuvers in response to signals received from the obstacle detection sensors. The disclosed utility model provides an energy-efficient, user-selectable, and obstacle-aware grass-cutting machine suitable for operation on flat, sloped, and uneven grassy surfaces.
