[0005] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0006] Novelty candy products that include multiple confections have grown in popularity, especially those with novel packaging, methods of consumption, flavors and / or textures.
[0007] By way of example, Applicant’s Patent US11 ,286,103 relates to a resealable, multiple confectionary product that provides a liquid / gel confectionery deposited on a proximately-mounted, hard candy lollipop upon user squeeze-actuation. Other examples of novelty products for multiple confectionery consumption are found in U.S. Patent Application No. 2003 / 0215549 A1 , Coleman et al, which describes novelty confectionary containers providing a user with the option of consuming a hard, solid candy alone or in combination with one or more powdered confections following the user moistening the surface of the hard, solid candy by sucking on or licking it followed by exposure / dipping / immersion of the moistened hard candy to adhere candy powder to the hard candy before consumption. A further example by Coleman is depicted in US5,370,884, of another confectionery novelty dispenser that provides for selectively dipping a moistened hard candy sucker into a powdered confectionery contained in a reservoir. The Coleman container also permits the user to reseal the dispensing container for later use.
[0008] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0009] It is an object of the present invention to provide a novel, unitary multi-chamber, multi-phase confectionery component dispenser that provides for a multiplicity of user selectable confectionery combinations. It is a further object of the invention to provide a unique, unitary, multi-phase, multi-confectionery combinable dispenser incorporating at least two vertically and laterally offset, re-sealable chambers.
[0010] Still a further object of the present invention is to provide a novel, multichamber, multi-phase, multi-confectionery component dispenser providing a user with selectivity of a multiplicity of confectionery combinations.
[0011] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a unitary dispenser with a segregated powdered confectionery, a liquid / gel confectionery, and at least two releasably retained solid confectionery products.
[0012] It is a further object of the present invention to provide a unitary, integrated, multi-chamber, multi-phase confectionery component dispenser that can be conveniently opened and accessed by a user for selective consumption of confectionery combinations, and re-sealed by the user for later consumption.
[0013] These and other objects are satisfied by a multi-chamber, multi-phase confectionery component dispenser comprising: at least a first and a second solid confectionary products each possessing a select flavor, color and texture, each of select dimensions, and each including a projecting handling stick; a first chamber adapted to retain a powdered confectionery, said first chamber defining a bordered opening with a back upper edge, said first chamber being dimensioned to receive at least one of said at least first and second solid confectionery products to permit surface contact of at least one of said at least first and second solid confectionery products with the powdered confectionery; a second chamber adapted to retain a liquid / gel confectionery defining an upper rim with an rearwardly disposed edge including a laterally disposed hinge knuckle, said second chamber dimensioned to receive at least one of said first and second solid confectionery products to permit surface contact thereof with the liquid / gel confectionery, said second chamber defining a floor with a front wall having a forwardly disposed lower edge that is substantially co-extensive to and aligns with said back upper edge of said first chamber so the first and second chambers are vertically and laterally offset; and a unitary cover member with a first and a second handling stick receiving and retaining elements, said unitary cover member integrating a first chamber cover section, a second chamber cover section, and an orthogonally projecting manipulator element disposed therebetween, said unitary cover member adapted to be affixed to said hinge knuckle to establish a hinge connection for selectively pivoting the unitary cover member with the orthogonally projecting manipulator element between a sealing position where the first chamber cover section covers the first chamber and the second chamber cover section covers the second chamber and an exposing position where the first and second chambers are coincidentally exposed for insertion of at least one of said first or second consumable confectionery products.

[0040] With reference now to the drawings, in particular to FIGS. 1-7 hereof, embodiments of user-selective, multi-chamber, multiple phase confectionery delivery products are described. FIGS. 1-7 depict a single embodiment of the invention from multiple angles and in different configurations. Additional embodiments are disclosed further within the detailed description.
[0041] FIGS. 1-7 illustrate an embodiment of the invention in the form of a resealable toilet shaped dispenser 10 with a lower bowl / base chamber 12 with a rimmed, open top resembling a toilet bowl for containing and retaining a powdered confectionery 15, a tank chamber 22 with a rimmed, open top resembling a toilet tank for containing and retaining a liquid / gel confectionery 25, and a stepped, segmented, hinge-mounted unitary cap 13.

The hinge pin-knuckle combination establishes a pivotal hinge mounting between the tank chamber 22 and the stepped, segmented, unitary cap member 13. In this manner, because the discrete segments comprising members 14, 16, and 18 dimensionally conform to the underlying multiphase confectionery containing dispenser bowl / base chamber 12 and tank chamber 22, a user / consumer may open and close the dispenser by selectively manipulating the toilet seat lid manipulator member 16 to pivot between the bowl / base chamber 12 and tank chamber 22 exposing / open position and the bowl / base chamber 12 and tank chamber 22 sealing / closed position.

Correspondingly, when in the sealed / closed position, the hinge-mounted unitary cap 13 prevents user access to as well as spillage / leakage of the powdered confectionery 15 and liquid / gel confectionery 25 contained respectively in the bowl / base chamber 12 and tank chamber 22.

The particular combinations of liquid / gel confectionery 25, powdered confectionery 15, and the solid confectioneries 26 in the depicted embodiment may be user or factory selected to possess different colors, textures, flavors, viscosities, and / or other organoleptic qualities.
[0046] Turning now to FIG. 1., it illustrates an embodiment of the invention from the front while in the open position. FIG.1 . depicts the vertical and horizontal displacement between the tank chamber 22 and the bowl / base chamber 12. The front exterior wall of tank chamber 22 and the upper rim of bowl / base chamber 12 are generally coextensive with and align with the rearward bowl wall while the tank chamber 22 is vertically and horizontally displaced from the bowl / base chamber 12. As a result of this separation, unintended cross-contamination of the tank chamber’s 22 retained liquid / gel confectionery 25 and the bowl chamber’s 12 retained powdered confectionery 15 is minimized during storage, display and even during user consumption of the confectionery products.

The center section of the toilet seat lid manipulator member 16 that abuts the front-facing wall of the tank chamber 22 and the bowl chamber seat cover member 14 are generally disposed orthogonally with the sides of the toilet seat lid manipulator member 16 projecting slightly forward. Claims
WHAT IS CLAIMED IS1. A multi-chamber, multi-phase confectionery component dispenser comprising: at least a first and a second solid confectionary products each possessing a select flavor, color and texture, each of select dimensions, and each including a projecting handling stick; a first chamber adapted to retain a powdered confectionery, said first chamber defining a bordered opening with a back upper edge, said first chamber being dimensioned to receive at least one of said at least first and second solid confectionery products to permit surface contact of at least one of said at least first and second solid confectionery products with the powdered confectionery; a second chamber adapted to retain a I iqu id / gel confectionery defining an upper rim with an rearwardly disposed edge including a laterally disposed hinge knuckle, said second chamber dimensioned to receive at least one of said first and second solid confectionery products to permit surface contact thereof with the liquid / gel confectionery, said second chamber defining a floor with a front wall having a forwardly disposed lower edge that is substantially co-extensive to and aligns with said back upper edge of said first chamber so the first and second chambers are vertically and laterally offset; and a unitary cover member with a first and a second handling stick receiving and retaining elements, said unitary cover member integrating a first chamber cover section, a second chamber cover section, and an orthogonally projecting manipulator element disposed therebetween, said unitary cover member adapted to be affixed to said hinge knuckle to establish a hinge connection for selectively pivoting the unitary cover member with the orthogonally projecting manipulator element between a sealing position where the first chamber cover section covers the first chamber and the second chamber cover section covers the second chamber and an exposing position where the first and second chambers are coincidentally exposed for insertion of at least one of said first or second consumable confectionery products.
2. The multi-chamber, multi-phase confectionery component dispenser according to claim 1 , wherein the unitary cover member is releasably frictionally engageable with the first and second chambers by a snap fit.

The multi-chamber, multi-phase confectionery component dispenser according to claim 1 where the dispenser is in the form of a toilet, the first chamber is in the form of a toilet bowl, the second chamber is in the form of a toilet tank, the first chamber cover member defines a toilet seat configuration and the projecting manipulator element defines a toilet lid.
4. The multi-chamber, multi-phase confectionery component dispenser according to any of the preceding claims where the hinge comprises at least one lateral projecting attachment pin disposed on the unitary cover member for snap fit engagement with said hinge knuckle.
5. The multi-chamber, multi-phase confectionery component dispenser of claim 4 where the cover member includes a pair of spaced, oppositely projecting attachment pins and the upper rim of the second chamber includes a pair of cooperating hinge knuckles.
6. The multi-chamber, multi-phase confectionery component dispenser according to any of the preceding claims where the handling sticks of the consumable confectionery products possess a select cross-sectional dimension and the handling stick receiving and retaining elements of the unitary cover member include feedthrough bores corresponding to said select cross-sectional dimension.
7. The multi-chamber, multi-phase confectionery component dispenser of any of the preceding claims wherein the first chamber and the second chamber are transparent.
8. The multi-chamber, multi-phase confectionery component dispenser of any of claimsl to 6 wherein the first chamber, the second chamber and the unitary cover are translucent.
9. The multi-chamber, multi-phase confectionery component dispenser of any of the preceding claims wherein the first chamber further comprises a solid inner layer of a consumable confectionery abutting and retained by at least one inner wall of the first chamber.
10. The multi-chamber, multi-phase confectionery component dispenser of Claim 9 wherein said solid inner layer of consumable confectionery is made of a translucent or transparent hard candy.11 . The multi-chamber, multi-phase confectionery component dispenser of any of the preceding claims wherein the first chamber further comprises a mountingsurface configured for retaining at least one solid piece of a supplementary consumable confectionery.
12. The multi-chamber, multi-phase confectionery component dispenser of Claim 11 wherein said at least one solid piece of a supplementary consumable confectionery retained on said mounting surface and said supplementary confectionery is shaped in the form selected from the group consisting of an animal, a creature, an eerie object, a distasteful object, and a toilet-related object.
