In addition, two of the treatment structures arc substantially opposed to eachother along the same plane and the third treatment structure 15 placed between the previous two10 opposing treatment structures. Advantageously the treatment structures are mounted on movablestructures. At least one of the treatment structures is dispiaceable along an axis X substantiallyperpendicular to the mesio-distal axis MD, allowing for adaptive or substantially constant brushingpressure 011 teeth surfaces when the toothbrush head is subjected or driven with lateral and / orrotative movements. The toothbrush further comprises movable elastic structures that enable15 dispiacement(s) of at least one of the treatment structures along the X axis, ensuring efficientcleaning. Additionally, the toothbrush is designed to be adaptable to the size of the user‘s mouth,with a toothbrush head that minimizes contact between treatment constructs of different elements.The treatment constructs arc, for example, in the shape ofbristles. In other words, a toothbrush with six contactsurfaces per two teeth, considering three surfaces for each tooth - i.e. buccal, lingual andocclusal / incisal surfaces for a mandibular, and a corresponding, maxillary tooth).The invention is also related to a multisided toothbrush head (brushing the three5 sides / surfaces ofa set of upper and lower teeth at the same time, while also cleaning and massagingthe gum-teeth interface and interdental space) applying adaptive or substantially constant brushingpressure on teeth surfaces (adapted to teeth width).Referring now to FIG. 1, the toothbrush 10 of the invention has a toothbrush head 12. Thebrush head 12 compriscs two treatment structures 14 and 16, facing each other. Each of the10 treatment structures 14, 16 comprises a plurality of bristles 36. In some embodiments, bristles 36can be substituted, or added to, radially extending fins or radial paddlcs (not shown).Advantageously, at least one of the treatment structures 14, 16 is mounted on movableelastic structures. In some embodiments, the elastic structures are flexible structures integral to thetreatment structures 14, 16, as shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 19A. In these embodiments the choice15 of the material of the treatment structure 14, 16 is important for ensuring the flexibility of thetreatment structures 14, 16 and allowing the tooth to correctly fit between the treatment structures14, 16 for cleaning tooth‘s surfaces. In some other embodiments, the elastic structures are separatesprings 20, 22, as shown in FIG. 4. In this configuration (i.e. as shown in FIG. 4), the elasticstructures 20, 22 are mounted on a support 40. The section ofthe support 40 can be L-shaped, as20 shown in FIG. 4. Advantageously the support 40 can rotate around one of its axes, during use.According to FIG. 4, the revolution happens around axis X. Axis X represents also the axis ofshaft 24. Shaft 24 is used to maintain together the treatment structures 14, 16, 17.The treatment structures 14, 16 are capable of displacing along an axis X on a handpieceinterface element 25 of a shaft 24 that is substantially perpendicular to the mesio-distal axis 2625 (See FIGs. 5A and 7). The toothbrush 10 applies adaptive or substantially constant brushingpressure on teeth surfaces 30 with lateral movements, along axis 26, and rotative movements 32,in a plane perpendicular to the axis 26, as shown in FIGs. 1 and 7. FIG. 4 also illustrates that theelastic structures 20,22 allow displacements 34 ofthetreatment structurcs 14, 16 along the X axis,making the elastic structure 20, 22 movable, at least along the axis X. Additionally, the size ofthe30 toothbrush head 12 is adapted to the size ofthe user‘s mouth.The brush head 12 also comprises at least one middle trcatmcnt structure 17, hereinafteralso defined as occlusal element, or treatment construct. The middle treatment structure 17 isaddressed to clean the occlusal surface ofthe teeth.12PWO-I 026-002According to some embodiments of the invention, the treatment structures 14, 16, 17comprise one or more treatment constructs. Treatment constructs can also be realized toaccomplish more than one function or different functions. Thus, in some embodiments, thetreatment constructs can be made as cleaning constructs, polishing constructs, whitening5 constructs, freshening / deodorizing constructs, fluorinating constructs, or a combination thereof. Insome embodiments, treatment constructs are in the shape of bristles, or radially extending fins orradial paddlcs (not shown), or a combination thereof. 2. The toothbrush of claim 1, whcrcin at least two adjacent treatment structures (14, 16, 17) are15 fixed together so as to move together.

The toothbrush (10) ofany one ofclaims 1 or 2, the toothbrush further having elastic structures(20, 22) so that at least one trcatment structure (14, 16, 17) is displaceable, along an axis (X)substantially perpendicular to the mesio-distal axis (MD), by the elastic structures (20,22) so as to20 apply adaptive or substantially constant treatment pressure on teeth surfaces.

The toothbrush (10) ofany one ofthe above claims, wherein at least one treatment structure (14,16, 17) is displaceable, along an axis (X) substantially perpendicular to the mesio-distal axis (MD),by the teeth surfaces (30) when in use so as to apply adaptivc or substantially constant treatment25 pressure on the tceth surfaces by means of lateral and rotative movements thereof.

The toothbrush (10) ofany one ofthe above claims, wherein the treatment structures (14, 16,17) are in the shape of a Buccal / Labial element (14‘), a Palatal / Lingual element (16‘) and an15 Occlusal Element (17‘) and wherein the toothbrush head (12) is designed in such a way that thetreatment constructs (36) of the Buccal / Labial element (14‘) and Palatal / Lingual element (16‘)are partially in contact with treatment constructs (36) of the Occlusal Element (17‘) along adispiaceable span (34) between the Buccal / Labial Element (14‘) and the Palatal / Lingual Element(16‘). 20 20.
