Abstract
Description
[0001] PROTECTIVE STRUCTURE IN THE FORM OF A BRA OR CORSET
[0002] Technical Field
[0003] The invention relates to a protective structure in the form of a bra or corset to reduce the risk of hypertrophic and keloid scar formation after surgical procedures and to prevent the formation of unfavorable scars.
[0004] In particular, the invention relates to a protective structure in the form of a bra or corset to reduce the risk of hypertrophic and keloid scar formation after surgical procedures such as breast reduction and augmentation, mastectomy, breast reconstruction, breast implant and caesarean section operations (after 1-45 days following the recovery period) and to prevent unfavorable scar formation, in the form of a bra or corset containing a silicone gel layer in the parts corresponding to these areas for the scars formed in the excision - incision areas.
[0005] State of the Art
[0006] In surgical procedures such as breast reduction and augmentation, mastectomy, breast reconstruction, breast implant and caesarean section operations, the use of bras used in the technical field or post-caesarean section corsets after 1-45 days following the recovery period can cause various problems. This is because continued use of the current applications may lead to darkening, swelling, and deepening of the scar due to friction. This leads to unfavorable scar formation. In this respect, there is a need for new structures to prevent the occurrence of these problems after surgical procedures.
[0007] As a result, due to the above-mentioned drawbacks and the shortcomings of the existing solutions, a development in the relevant technical field is required.
[0008] Summary of the Invention The present invention relates to a protective structure in the form of a bra or corset, which meets the requirements mentioned above, eliminates all disadvantages and offers some additional advantages.
[0009] The invention is inspired by existing situations and aims to solve the above-mentioned problems.
[0010] The main object of the invention is to obtain a new bra structure that prevents unfavorable scar formation. In the bra and post-caesarean section corset of the invention, the silicone gel layer is able to create an electric field between itself and the wound surface. These electrical changes accelerate healing. This makes it possible to prevent unfavorable scar formation. It also provides ease of use with a very soft feel for the user.
[0011] In the invention, these garments, which also have compression properties, are integrated with elastin fabric to significantly prevent scar progression.
[0012] Other main advantages of the invention are listed below:
[0013] • Reduction of scarring and improvement of appearance,
[0014] • Physical relief and freedom of movement,
[0015] • Reduced risk of infection,
[0016] • Supporting skin health,
[0017] • Long-term aesthetic and health benefits.
[0018] The invention can be in the form of a product used for breast surgery (bra) or a product used after a caesarean section (corset).
[0019] The structural and characteristic features and all advantages of the invention will be more apparent from the following figures and the detailed description written with reference to these figures and therefore the interpretation should be based on these figures and the detailed description.
[0020] Figures to Understand the Invention To fully understand the embodiments and advantages of the present invention, it should be interpreted in conjunction with the figures described below.
[0021] Figure 1 shows an overview of the protective structure in bra form.
[0022] Figure 2 shows an overview of the protective structure in corset form.

[0027] Detailed Description of the Invention
[0028] In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the invention are described only for the purpose of a better understanding of the subject matter.
[0029] The invention relates to a protective structure (K) in the form of a bra or corset to reduce the risk of hypertrophic and keloid scar formation after surgical procedures and to prevent the formation of unfavorable scars. The protective structure (K) according to the invention can be in the form of a product used for breast surgery (bra) or a product used after a caesarean section (corset). Figure 1 and Figure 2 show the overviews of these products.
[0030] When the protective structure (K) according to the invention is in the form of a bra, there is a silicone gel layer (1) in the region under the breast, which is sewn into the inner region of the bra. Said silicone gel layer (1) contributes to the healing of the scar caused by the incision mark after the surgery and prevents the formation of unfavorable scars. Thanks to the biocompatible silicone barriers in the silicone gel layer (1) structure, it is possible to minimize tissue deformity caused by scar formation, prevent the progression of scars, minimize skin discoloration in the surgical area and provide additional support during the healing process. There is a protective tape on said silicone gel layer (1) to prevent adhesion of dust and similar components. Said protective tape is removed and discarded during the first use. In the protective structure (K) in the bra form, the part corresponding to the nipple area is not fixed but is included separately in the bra package as an extra accessory.
[0031] When the protective structure (K) according to the invention is in the form of a corset, there is a silicone gel layer (1) sewn into the inner region over the area where the caesarean section incision (2) is located. There is a protective tape on said silicone gel layer (1) to prevent adhesion of dust and similar components. Said protective tape is removed and discarded during the first use. Similar to the bra form, the silicone gel layer (1) ensures the healing of scars that occur or may occur due to incisions around the nipple and prevents the formation of unfavorable scars. Thanks to the biocompatible silicone barriers in the silicone gel layer (1) structure, it is possible to minimize tissue deformity caused by scar formation, prevent the progression of scars, minimize skin discoloration in the surgical area and provide additional support during the healing process.
[0032] The silicone gel layer (1 ) used in the invention ensures the healing of scars that occur or may occur due to incisions around the nipple and prevents the formation of unfavorable scars. Thanks to the biocompatible silicone barriers in the silicone gel layer (1) structure, it is possible to minimize tissue deformity caused by scar formation, prevent the progression of scars, minimize skin discoloration in the surgical area and provide additional support during the healing process.
[0033] When the protective structure (K) according to the invention is in the form of a bra and corset, the bra and corset are made of a breathable fabric of general elasticity. The silicone gel layer (1) fabric was sewn to the inner part of the bra (the parts facing the scar).
