Claims

A pipe branch for conveying a multiphase flow medium, characterized in that the pipe branch comprises: an inlet pipe section having a first central axis; an outlet pipe section having a second central axis; a side inlet pipe section; a diverter pipe section connecting the inlet pipe section to the outlet pipe section, wherein the diverter section has a centerline; and a connecting pipe section connecting to the side inlet pipe section and configured to direct a flow of the multiphase flow medium from the side inlet pipe section to the outlet pipe section. The first central axis and the second central axis are positioned within a plane.The centerline of the diverter pipe section may have an arched shape in a first view perpendicular to the plane and an S shape in a second view parallel to the plane and perpendicular to the first centerline axis.
