PROCEDURE FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF RECYCLED RUBBER TILES WITH COLORED CUSHION RUBBER

Claims

It is a process for manufacturing a tile specifically designed for use in outdoor environments, such as sidewalks, pedestrian walkways, patios, parks, plazas, or similar areas. It comprises the following sequence of steps:

1. A quantity of recycled rubber granules is placed in the mixer; 2. This raw material is mixed with a polyurethane resin until a homogeneous impregnation is achieved; 3. The resulting homogeneous mixture is then placed in a forming mold; 4. The exposed surface is leveled; 5. A colored cushion layer of vulcanized rubber, coated with a plastic resin, is spread over this exposed surface; 6. The tile is then pressed in a high-pressure press; 7. Once the process is complete, the tile is removed from the mold for cooling.
