Abstract

The invention relates to a lifting device (1) for lifting a road vehicle trailer (20), comprising a base frame (2) including two uprights (3, 4) and a drive unit. The uprights (3, 4) extend along a lifting direction (5) and are spaced apart from each other in a longitudinal direction (6) transverse to the lifting direction (5). The lifting device (1) further comprises two lifting elements (8, 9), each lifting element (8, 9) being slidably connected to one of the uprights (3, 4) in the lifting direction (8), and two support arms (10, 11), each comprising a mounting section (12) and a support section (13).
