Abstract

The invention relates to a fire-resistant portable power supply comprising a battery pack (2) and electrical components (3). It also includes a metal housing (1) and an aerosol fire extinguishing device (4), wherein the metal housing (1) has at least one receiving compartment (17) suitable for mounting the battery pack (2) and the electrical components (3). The battery pack (2) is arranged separately from the electrical components (3). The battery pack (2) is electrically connected to the electrical components (3) and in contact with the metal housing (1). The aerosol fire extinguishing device (4) is arranged in the receiving compartment (17), and the aerosol fire extinguishing device (4) is configured to release the aerosol into the receiving compartment (17) when the temperature in the receiving compartment reaches a certain value.
