Abstract

The invention relates to a current collector for a vehicle, in particular for a rail vehicle, comprising an actuating device (1), a first support (2) connectable to a vehicle, and a sliding piece (5) movably connected to the first support (2) and attachable to a power supply unit (4), wherein at least one first stop arrangement (18) with at least one stop (20) for limiting deflections of the sliding piece (5) is arranged between the sliding piece (5) and the first support (2). It is proposed that the at least first stop arrangement (18) comprises a drive (21) for adjusting the at least one stop (20), wherein the drive (21) is connectable to a vehicle control unit (31). This enables a particularly reliable contact between the sliding piece (5) and the power supply unit (4).
