Abstract

Grill (100) comprising a) a device for generating heat (1), b) at least one grilling unit (2), c) at least one guide element (3), d) at least one guide carriage (8), e) at least one traction element (4) for moving the at least one guide carriage (8) in the at least one guide element (3), f) at least one winding element (7), configured such that the at least one traction element (4) can be wound on and unwound on the at least one winding element (7), g) a motor (6) for driving the at least one winding element (7), and h) an electrical control unit (20), wherein the at least one grilling unit (2) is coupled to the at least one guide element (3) via the at least one guide carriage (8) in a tilt-proof manner, the electrical control unit (20) and the motor (6) in the vertical direction in a region which extends at most to half the height of the at least one guide element (3),in particular, extending to a maximum of one-third of the height of the at least one guide element (3), and the at least one traction element (4) is guided within the at least one guide element (3).
