[0025] Hereinafter, one embodiment will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following description, for convenience, the positive direction of the Z axis in the drawings is regarded as the upper side, and the negative direction of the Z axis in the drawings is regarded as the lower side.
[0026] (Overview of Switch Device 100)
[0027] Figure 1 This is a perspective view of the appearance of a switch device 100 according to one embodiment. Figure 2 FIG. 1 is a top view of a switch device 100 according to an embodiment. Figure 3 It is a front view of the switch device 100 of one embodiment.
[0028] Figure 1 to Figure 3The switch device 100 shown is, for example, a device assembled in a trunk, a rear door, a side door, etc. as a switch for electrically unlocking the trunk, a rear door, etc. of a vehicle, or electrically locking the side door, etc. of a vehicle. Figure 1 to Figure 3 As shown, the switch device 100 has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape. That is, when viewed from above, the switch device 100 has a substantially horizontally long rectangular shape with the X-axis direction as the long side direction and the Y-axis direction as the short side direction.
[0029] A cover member 130 is provided on an upper surface 110A (an example of an "operating surface") of a housing 110 of the switch device 100. The cover member 130 has an operating portion 132 that is convex upward. When an operator presses the operating portion 132, the switch device 100 is in the following state: a switch 144 provided inside the housing 110 is switched to an on state, and two lead wires 146 drawn from the bottom of the housing 110 are connected to each other.
[0030] (Structure and Operation of Switch Device 100)
[0031] Figure 4 It is an exploded perspective view of a switch device 100 according to one embodiment. Figure 5 yes Figure 2 The switch device 100 (off state) is shown in a cross-sectional view taken along line AA. Figure 6 yes Figure 2 The switch device 100 (closed state) is shown in a cross-sectional view taken along line AA.
[0032] like Figures 4 to 6 As shown, the switch device 100 is configured to include a cover member 130 , a housing 110 , a circuit unit 140 , and a sealing member 120 in this order from the top.
[0033] The housing 110 is a container-shaped component that forms the outer shape of the switch device 100 (i.e., a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape). A lower opening 110C (not shown) is formed on the bottom surface of the housing 110. The housing 110 is formed using a relatively hard material (e.g., a hard resin). An opening 110B is formed on the upper surface 110A of the housing 110, and the opening 110B is substantially rectangular in shape (a horizontally long rectangular shape with the X-axis direction as the length direction) when viewed from above.
[0034] A substantially cylindrical pressing member 112 is provided separately from the housing 110 at a position inside the opening 110B and overlapping with the switch 144 in a plan view. The pressing member 112 is formed together with the housing 110 by a primary molding in two-color molding. When the cover member 130 is formed by a secondary molding in two-color molding, the upper portion 112A of the pressing member 112 is fixed to the inner side (inside the cylinder 132B) of the operating portion 132 of the cover member 130. When the operating portion 132 is pressed, the pressing member 112 moves downward as the operating portion 132 sinks downward, thereby pressing the top of the movable portion 144A of the switch 144 through the pressing surface 112D as the bottom surface thereof.
[0035] The cover member 130 is disposed on the upper surface 110A (an example of an “operating surface”) of the housing 110. The cover member 130 is a substantially thin plate-shaped member formed using an elastic material (e.g., an elastomer). The cover member 130 covers substantially the entire area of the upper surface 110A of the housing 110 and is in close contact with the upper surface 110A of the housing 110 (the peripheral portion of the opening 110B), thereby closing the opening 110B formed on the upper surface 110A of the housing 110. Thus, the cover member 130 prevents water from entering the interior of the housing 110 from the opening 110B.
[0036] The cover member 130 is formed integrally with the upper surface 110A of the housing 110 by secondary molding in two-color molding, using a material different from that of the housing 110 (elastic material). The cover member 130 has an operation portion 132 that is convex upward. The operation portion 132 is provided at the center of the cover member 130. The operation portion 132 is a portion that is pressed by an operator. In addition, the cover member 130 has a flat peripheral portion 134 around the operation portion 132.
[0037] The circuit unit 140 is incorporated in the housing 110 . The circuit unit 140 includes a circuit board 142 , a switch 144 , and two lead wires 146 .
[0038] The circuit board 142 is a relatively hard flat plate-shaped member. As the circuit board 142, for example, a PWB (Printed Wiring Board) is used.
[0039] The switch 144 is mounted at the center of the upper surface 142A of the circuit substrate 142. The switch 144 is arranged on the lower side of the pressing member 112. The switch 144 has a movable portion 144A and a base portion 144B. Regarding the switch 144, when the operation portion 132 is pressed, the top of the movable portion 144A is pressed by the pressing surface 112D of the pressing member 112 provided on the inner side of the operation portion 132. When the movable portion 144A is pressed by the pressing member 112, the switch 144 is switched to the on state.
[0040] One end of the two lead wires 146 is connected to the switch 144 by welding or the like on the upper surface 142A of the circuit board 142. The other end of the two lead wires 146 passes through the sealing member 120 provided at the bottom of the housing 110 and is led out of the housing 110.
[0041] The sealing member 120 is embedded in the lower opening 110C of the housing 110 to seal the lower opening 110C. The sealing member 120 has the same shape as the lower opening 110C of the housing 110 when viewed from above (i.e., a substantially rectangular shape). In addition, the sealing member 120 is formed using an elastic material (e.g., rubber, elastic adhesive, etc.) or a hard adhesive, etc. Thus, the sealing member 120 is closely attached to the inner wall surface of the housing 110, and water can be prevented from entering the interior of the housing 110 from the lower opening 110C.
[0042] When Figure 5 As shown, when the operator does not press the operating portion 132, the switch device 100 is in an initial state where the operating portion 132 is not sunk. At this time, the switch 144 provided inside the housing 110 is in an OFF state. Therefore, the two lead wires 146 are not connected to each other.
[0043] On the other hand, when Figure 6 As shown in the figure, when the operator presses the operating portion 132, in the switch device 100, the operating portion 132 and the outer peripheral portion 134 as the peripheral portion of the operating portion 132 are elastically deformed, and the operating portion 132 sinks downward. As a result, the pressing member 112 fixedly provided on the inner side of the operating portion 132 moves downward and presses the top of the movable portion 144A of the switch 144 provided inside the housing 110. As a result, the switch 144 is switched to the on state. As a result, the two wires 146 are in a state of being mutually conductive.
[0044] In the switch device 100, when the operator releases the pressing operation of the operating portion 132, the operating portion 132 automatically returns to the initial state by the elastic force of the operating portion 132, the outer peripheral portion 134, and the switch 144. Accordingly, the switch 144 automatically returns to the OFF state.
[0045] (Structure of Housing 110 and Cover Member 130)
[0046] Figure 7 and Figure 8 This is a perspective view of the appearance of a housing 110 and a cover member 130 included in a switch device 100 according to an embodiment. Figure 7 The case 110 and the cover member 130 are shown in a state where they are not coupled to each other. Figure 8The case 110 and the cover member 130 are shown in a state where they are coupled to each other.
[0047] like Figure 8 As shown, the cover member 130 is formed on the upper surface 110A of the housing 110 by secondary molding.
[0048] like Figure 7 As shown in FIG. 1 , a substantially cylindrical pressing member 112 is provided inside and in the center of the opening 110B of the housing 110 and is separated from the housing 110. The pressing member 112 is formed together with the housing 110 by one molding in two-color molding. Figure 8 As shown, when the member 130 is formed on the upper surface 110A of the housing 110 by secondary molding, the upper portion 112A of the pressing member 112 is fixed in the inner cylindrical portion 132B of the operating portion 132 of the cover member 130 .
[0049] like Figure 7 As shown in FIG. 1 , the operating portion 132 of the cover member 130 has a hollow shape with an opening on the inner side (negative side of the Z axis). In the center of the space inside the operating portion 132, a cylindrical barrel portion 132B is integrally provided with an outer wall portion 132A of the operating portion 132 of the cover member 130. The barrel portion 132B is formed by secondary molding in a manner that covers the upper portion 112A of the pressing member 112. Thus, the upper portion 112A of the pressing member 112 is formed as shown in FIG. Figure 8 As shown in FIG. 1 , the flange 220 is fixed in the cylindrical portion 132B in a state where it is inserted into the cylindrical portion 132B from the lower side of the cylindrical portion 132B.
[0050] Inside the space of the operating portion 132, four ribs 132C are provided at 90° intervals in the annular portion around the barrel 132B as an example of a "rib". Each rib 132C connects the barrel 132B to the outer wall 132A. Each rib 132C is formed integrally with the outer wall 132A and the barrel 132B by secondary molding. For example, when the operating portion 132 is pressed from obliquely above, each rib 132C suppresses the barrel 132B and the pressing member 112 from tilting inside the space of the operating portion 132. Thus, each rib 132C can realize a direct and reliable pressing operation of the switch 144 based on the operating portion 132.
[0051] like Figure 7As shown in FIG. 1 , a plurality of vertical wall portions 112C (an example of a “convex portion”) protruding radially outward are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the lower portion 112B of the pressing member 112. Specifically, Figure 7 In the example shown, four vertical wall portions 112Ca are formed at intervals of 90° on the outer peripheral surface of the lower portion 112B of the pressing member 112, and a vertical wall portion 112Cb shorter than the vertical wall portion 112Ca is formed between two adjacent vertical wall portions 112Ca. As a result, in the switch device 100 of this embodiment, the surface area of the outer peripheral surface of the lower portion 112B of the pressing member 112 is enlarged. Therefore, after the primary molding of the switch device 100 of this embodiment, when the movable side mold holding the housing 110 and the pressing member 112 is pulled away from the fixed side mold, it is possible to prevent the pressing member 112 from floating from the movable side mold or the pressing member 112 from falling off from the movable side mold. Furthermore, in the switch device 100 of this embodiment, the volume of the lower portion 112B can be reduced compared to the case where the lower portion 112B is formed into a simple cylindrical shape, so the amount of material used when forming the pressing member 112 can be reduced.
[0052] In addition, the upper portion 112A of the pressing member 112 has a tapered shape that becomes thinner as it goes upward, and the outer peripheral surface is smooth. Therefore, after the switch device 100 of this embodiment is formed once, when the movable side mold holding the housing 110 and the pressing member 112 is pulled away from the fixed side mold, the pressing member 112 can be easily demolded from the fixed side mold. Therefore, the switch device 100 of this embodiment can prevent the pressing member 112 from floating from the movable side mold or the pressing member 112 from falling off from the movable side mold.
[0053] In addition, if Figures 4 to 6 As shown, the pressing member 112 has a gate mark 112E formed in the primary molding on its upper surface, that is, there is no gate mark on the pressing surface 112D, so the pressing surface 112D can be made a smooth surface.
[0054] Fig. 9 yes Figure 3 The BB cross-sectional view of the switch device 100 is shown in FIG. Fig. 9As shown, the bottom surface of the pressing member 112 (the portion other than the plurality of vertical wall portions 112C) becomes a pressing surface 112D. The area of the pressing surface 112D is larger than the area of the top of the movable portion 144A of the switch 144. Thus, when an excessive operating load is applied to the pressing member 112 of the switch device 100 of this embodiment, the pressing surface 112D abuts against the upper surface of the base 144B of the switch 144, so that the operating load can be borne by the upper surface of the base 144B of the switch 144. In addition, the switch device 100 of this embodiment can reliably press the top of the movable portion 144A of the switch 144 through the pressing surface 112D even when the pressing member 112 is displaced in the horizontal direction.
[0055] (Method of Manufacturing Casing 110)
[0056] Fig.10 This is a flowchart showing the procedure of a method for manufacturing the housing 110 according to one embodiment.
[0057] First, the housing 110 and the pressing component 112 are formed simultaneously by a primary molding in two-color molding (step S11: primary molding process). Specifically, the movable side mold is overlapped on the lower side of the primary fixed side mold. Then, liquid and thermoplastic hard resin materials are injected into the space of the movable side mold from a plurality of gates provided on the bottom surface of the primary fixed side mold. A space having a shape corresponding to the housing 110 and the pressing component 112 is formed on the movable side mold. Thus, the housing 110 and the pressing component 112 are formed in the movable side mold.
[0058] Next, through the secondary molding in the two-color molding, the cover part 130 is formed using an elastic material for the upper surface 110A of the shell 110, and the pressing part 112 is fixed to the inner side of the cover part 130 (step S12: secondary molding process). Specifically, the movable side mold that maintains the state of the shell 110 and the pressing part 112 is pulled away from the primary fixed side mold so that it overlaps with the lower side of the secondary fixed side mold. Then, a liquid and thermoplastic elastic material is injected into the space of the secondary fixed side mold. A space with a shape corresponding to the cover part 130 is formed in the secondary fixed side mold. As a result, the cover part 130 is formed in a close-fitting state with respect to the upper surface 110A of the shell 110, and the pressing part 112 is fixed to the inner side of the operating part 132 of the cover part 130.
[0059] As described above, a switch device 100 according to one embodiment comprises: a housing 110, which is formed by a primary molding in two-color molding; a switch 144, which is arranged inside the housing 110; a cover member 130, which is formed by a secondary molding in two-color molding and using an elastic material, and covers the upper surface 110A of the housing 110; and a pressing member 112, which is formed simultaneously with the housing 110 and separately from the housing 110 in the opening 110B of the upper surface 110A by primary molding, is fixed to the inner side of the operating portion 132 of the cover member 130 by secondary molding, and presses the top of the switch 144 when the operating portion 132 is pressed.
[0060] Thus, in the switch device 100 according to one embodiment, since the pressing member 112 formed of a hard material is provided between the operating portion 132 of the cover member 130 and the top of the switch 144 , a direct operational feeling can be obtained.
[0061] In addition, in the switch device 100 according to one embodiment, the pressing member 112 is formed simultaneously with the housing 110 by one-time molding, and therefore the pressing member 112 can be easily disposed at a correct position in the opening 110B of the housing 110 .
[0062] Furthermore, in the switch device 100 according to one embodiment, the pressing member 112 is fixed to the back side of the operating portion 132 by a single molding, so that the pressing member 112 can be fixed to the back side of the operating portion 132 in a state of being arranged at a correct position in the opening 110B.
[0063] In the switch device 100 according to one embodiment, the pressing member 112 is provided with a plurality of vertical wall portions 112C on the outer peripheral surface of the lower portion 112B (the end portion on the switch 144 side).
[0064] Thus, in one embodiment of the switch device 100, the surface area of the outer peripheral surface of the lower portion 112B is enlarged, and after one-time molding, when the movable side mold that maintains the shell 110 and the pressing component 112 is pulled away from the fixed side mold, it is possible to prevent the pressing component 112 from floating up from the movable side mold or falling off from the movable side mold.
[0065] In the switch device 100 according to one embodiment, the upper portion 112A (the end portion on the cover member 130 side) of the pressing member 112 has a tapered shape.
[0066] Thus, after the primary molding of the switch device 100 of one embodiment, when the movable side mold holding the housing 110 and the pressing member 112 is pulled away from the fixed side mold, the pressing member 112 can be easily demolded from the fixed side mold. Therefore, the switch device 100 of one embodiment can prevent the pressing member 112 from floating up from the movable side mold or falling off from the movable side mold.
[0067] In the switch device 100 according to one embodiment, the pressing member 112 has a pressing surface 112D that presses the top of the switch 144 , and the pressing surface 112D has a larger area than the top of the switch 144 .
[0068] Thus, in the switch device 100 of one embodiment, when an excessive operation load is applied to the pressing member 112, the pressing surface 112D contacts the upper surface of the base 144B of the switch 144, and the operation load can be received by the upper surface of the base 144B of the switch 144. In addition, in the switch device 100 of one embodiment, even if the pressing member 112 is displaced in the horizontal direction, the top of the movable portion 144A of the switch 144 can be reliably pressed by the pressing surface 112D.
[0069] (Variation Example)
[0070] Next, refer to Figure 11 to Figure 13 , a modified example of the switch device 100 according to one embodiment is described. Fig.11 This is a perspective view of the appearance of a switch device 200 according to a modified example (with the knob 250 removed). Fig.12 This is a perspective view of the appearance of a switch device 200 according to a modified example (a state in which a knob 250 is installed). Fig.13 2 is a cross-sectional view of a switch device 200 according to a modified example.
[0071] Figure 11 to Figure 13 The switch device 200 shown is different from the switch device 100 in that it includes a case 210 , a cover member 230 , and a pressing member 212 instead of the case 110 , the cover member 130 , and the pressing member 112 , and further includes a knob 250 .
[0072] The housing 210 is different from the housing 110 in that it further includes a pair of brackets 214. The brackets 214 are provided protruding outward on both sides in the longitudinal direction (X-axis direction) of the housing 210. The brackets 214 are respectively formed with through holes 214A that penetrate the brackets 214 in the vertical direction.
[0073] The cover member 230 is provided on the upper surface 210A (an example of an “operating surface”) of the housing 210. The cover member 230 is a substantially thin plate-shaped member formed using an elastic material (e.g., an elastomer). The cover member 230 covers substantially the entire area of the upper surface 210A of the housing 210, thereby forming an opening 210B (see FIG. 21B ) formed on the upper surface 210A of the housing 210. Fig.13 ) is closed. Thus, the cover member 230 prevents water from entering the interior of the housing 210 from the opening 210B. The cover member 230 is formed integrally with the upper surface 210A of the housing 210 by secondary molding in two-color molding, using a material different from that of the housing 210. The cover member 230 has a support portion 232 that is convex upward. The support portion 232 is provided in the center of the cover member 230. In addition, the cover member 230 has a flat peripheral portion 234 around the support portion 232. The pressing member 212, which is pressed by the operator, penetrates the support portion 232. Thus, the support portion 232 supports the middle portion of the pressing member 212. That is, the cover member 230 is different from the cover member 130 in that the pressing member 212 penetrates its support portion 232.
[0074] The pressing member 212 is different from the pressing member 112 in that it penetrates the cover member 230. Specifically, the pressing member 212 is separated from the housing 210 and is provided at a position inside the opening 210B of the housing 210 and overlapping with the switch 144 in a plan view. The pressing member 212 is formed together with the housing 210 by the primary molding in the two-color molding. When the cover member 230 is formed by the secondary molding in the two-color molding, the outer peripheral surface of the middle portion 212B of the pressing member 212 is fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the through hole 232A formed in the support portion 232 in a state of penetrating the support portion 232 of the cover member 230. As a result, the pressing member 212 is in a state in which the upper portion 212A protrudes upward from the support portion 232, the middle portion 212B is held in the through hole 232A of the support portion 232, and the lower portion 212C protrudes downward from the support portion 232. In addition, the inner circumference of the through hole 232A formed in the support portion 232 by two-color molding is in a state of close contact with the outer circumference of the middle portion 212B of the pressing member 212 by two-color molding. Therefore, the switch device 200 of this modified example prevents water from entering the interior of the housing 210 from the through hole 232A. In addition, the pressing member 212 has a plurality of vertical wall portions (for example, four vertical wall portions arranged at 90° intervals) protruding radially outward on the outer circumference of its upper portion 212A, which can reduce the volume of the upper portion 212A compared to forming the upper portion 212A into a simple cylindrical shape, thereby reducing the amount of material used when forming the pressing member 212.
[0075] The knob 250 is a flat plate-shaped component having a substantially rectangular shape in a top view. The knob 250 is formed using a relatively hard material (e.g., a hard resin). A pair of hooks 252 are provided downwardly at both ends (i.e., a pair of short sides) in the length direction (X-axis direction) of the knob 250. By inserting the pair of hooks 252 from above into the pair of brackets 214 of the housing 210, the knob 250 is installed so as to cover the upper surface 201A of the housing 210 and be movable in the up-down direction relative to the housing 210. Fig.13 As shown, a holding hole 254 is formed in the center of the bottom surface of the knob 250 . The knob 250 holds the upper portion 212A of the pressing member 212 by fitting the upper portion 212A of the pressing member 212 into the holding hole 254 .
[0076] In the switch device 200 of this modified example, when the operator performs a pressing operation of the knob 250, the pressing member 212 whose upper portion 212A is held by the knob 250 moves downward together with the knob 250 as the support portion 232 and the outer peripheral portion 234 of the cover member 230 are elastically deformed. As a result, the pressing member 212 presses the top of the movable portion 144A of the switch 144 provided inside the housing 210 through the pressing surface 212D as the bottom surface thereof. As a result, the switch 144 is switched to the on state. As a result, the two lead wires 146 are in a state of being mutually conductive.
[0077] In the switch device 200 of this modification, both the knob 250 and the pressing member 212 are formed of hard materials, and no elastic member is present between the knob 250 and the pressing member 212. Therefore, the switch device 200 of this modification hardly attenuates the operation load applied to the knob 250, and the switch 144 can be pressed by the pressing member 212. Therefore, according to the switch device 200 of this modification, a more direct operation feeling can be obtained.
[0078] In addition, in the switch device 200 of this modified example, a structure without the knob 250 and the pair of hooks 252 may be adopted. That is, it may be configured so that the operator directly presses the upper portion 212A of the pressing member 212. In this case, a structure may be adopted in which another knob formed of a hard material or an elastic material is fixedly provided on the upper portion 212A of the pressing member 212.
[0079] As mentioned above, although one embodiment of the present invention has been described in detail, the present invention is not limited to these embodiments, and various modifications and changes can be made within the scope of the gist of the present invention described in the claims.
