Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a conveying device having a belt capable of conveying a medium, and a recording device having the conveying device. Background Technology
[0002] As an example of such a conveying device, the conveying device described in Patent Document 1 is used. This conveying device has a secondary scraper 42 disposed between a pressure plate 424 and a push-in adjusting plate 421. The pressure plate 424 is locked and unlocked by a cam member 421c provided on the push-in adjusting plate 421 for pressing (locking) and releasing the pressure plate 424. Specifically, when locked, the pressure plate 424 is pressed against the push-in adjusting plate 421, and the secondary scraper 42 is fixed by the clamping pressure between the pressure plate 424 and the push-in adjusting plate 421. On the other hand, when unlocked, the pressure plate 424 is released from pressing the push-in adjusting plate 421, thereby releasing the fixation of the secondary scraper 42.
[0003] Based on this structure, it is possible to obtain from Figure 10 The cam component 421c is rotated to release the lock and release the pressure of the secondary scraper 42 applied by the pressure plate 424, thereby removing the secondary scraper 42 from between the pressure plate 424 and the push-in adjustment plate 421.
[0004] In the conveying device described in Patent Document 1, when the secondary scraper 42 is replaced, it is easy for the secondary scraper 42 to fall due to its own weight when the pressure plate 424 on the push-in adjustment plate 421 is released. This falling can reduce the operability of the secondary scraper 42 when it is replaced.

[0020] Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in summary.
[0021] To address the aforementioned issues, the first aspect of the conveying device according to the present invention is characterized by comprising: a conveyor belt having a support surface for supporting a medium and capable of conveying the medium; a wiper capable of wiping the support surface; a mounting portion on which the wiper is mounted; and a pressing portion capable of switching between a pressing state in which the wiper is pressed against the mounting portion and a releasing state in which the wiper is released from pressing against the mounting portion, wherein the wiper includes a base mounted on the mounting portion, at least one pin is provided on either the base or the mounting portion, and a hole is provided on the other for the at least one pin to pass through.
[0022] According to this method, at least one of the pins is provided on either the base or the mounting portion, and the pin is inserted into a hole provided on the other. Therefore, since the pin is engaged in the hole, even when the pressing portion is released during the replacement of the wiper, the possibility of the wiper falling due to its own weight can be prevented. This prevents a decrease in the operability of wiper replacement.
[0023] The conveying device according to the second aspect of the present invention is characterized in that, in the first aspect, the pin includes a first pin and a second pin inserted into a hole, the first pin and the second pin are disposed on the mounting portion, the hole is disposed on the base portion, and in the state where the first pin and the second pin are inserted into the hole, the first pin and the second pin press against the inner wall constituting the hole in opposite directions.
[0024] According to this method, with the first and second pins inserted into the hole, the first and second pins press against the inner wall constituting the hole with pressure in opposite directions. Therefore, even when the pressing part is released during wipe replacement, the wiper can be prevented from falling due to its own weight. Thus, the operability of wiper replacement can be further reduced.
[0025] The conveying device according to the third aspect of the present invention is characterized in that, in the first or second aspect, the portion of the pressing part that contacts the base has an uneven surface.
[0026] When the pressing part is switched to the deactivated state, there is a possibility that the wiper may stick to the pressing part due to the material of the material constituting the wiper.
[0027] According to this method, since the portion of the pressing part that contacts the base has unevenness, the wiper becomes difficult to adhere to the pressing part, thereby suppressing the falling off caused by the wiper detaching from the pressing part based on the adhesion.
[0028] The conveying device according to the fourth aspect of the present invention is characterized in that, in any one of the first to third aspects, the pressing part includes: a sliding part that is slidably movable relative to the mounting part; and a protrusion disposed at the portion of the sliding part opposite to the base, the protrusion being slidably moved by the sliding part to a position where the base can be pressed onto the mounting part.
[0029] According to this method, the user can press the base onto the mounting portion simply by sliding the sliding part. This improves the operability of changing the wiper.
[0030] The fifth aspect of the conveying device of the present invention is characterized in that, in the fourth aspect, the sliding part is locked onto the mounting part while it has slid to the maximum extent relative to the mounting part.
[0031] According to this method, since the sliding part is locked in a state where it has slid and moved to its maximum extent relative to the mounting part, the sliding part becomes difficult to fall down.
[0032] The conveying device according to the sixth aspect of the present invention is characterized in that, in the fourth or fifth aspect, it includes a storage section storing a liquid for cleaning the support surface, the mounting section being supported inside the storage section, and the sliding section including a cover covering the at least one pin and the hole.
[0033] According to this method, it is possible to prevent contaminants from entering the gap between the pin and the hole and thus soiling the wiper or the pin due to the liquid stored in the storage section adhering to the base.
[0034] The conveying device according to the seventh aspect of the present invention is characterized in that, in the sixth aspect, the cover includes: a first opening for the wiper to enter when it slides relative to the mounting portion; and a second opening located opposite to the first opening in the direction of sliding relative to the mounting portion, the second opening being located below the first opening in the direction of gravity.
[0035] According to this method, by allowing the liquid used in cleaning the support surface to flow along the wiper and through the second opening into the storage section, the possibility of liquid remaining inside the cover section can be suppressed. Thus, it is possible to prevent the inside of the cover section from becoming soiled.
[0036] The conveying device according to the eighth aspect of the present invention is characterized in that, in any one of the first to seventh aspects, a tapered portion is provided on the at least one pin.
[0037] According to this method, if the cone has a pointed tip, the pin becomes easier to pass through the hole. Furthermore, if the cone has a pointed tip, it is possible to further suppress the wiper from detaching from the mounting portion due to its own weight.
[0038] The recording device according to the ninth aspect of the present invention is characterized by comprising: a recording unit capable of recording on a medium; a conveying device for conveying the medium, the conveying device comprising: a conveyor belt having a support surface for supporting the medium and capable of conveying the medium; a wiper capable of wiping the support surface; a mounting portion on which the wiper is mounted; and a pressing portion capable of switching between a pressing state in which the wiper is pressed against the mounting portion and a releasing state in which the wiper is released from pressing against the mounting portion, the wiper comprising a base mounted on the mounting portion, at least one pin provided on either the base or the mounting portion, and a hole through which the at least one pin is inserted on the other.
[0039] According to this method, as a recording device, the same effect as the first method can be obtained.
[0040] Implementation Method 1
[0041] In the following text, based on Figures 1 to 4 The recording device having the conveying device according to Embodiment 1 of the present invention will be described in detail.
[0042] In the following description, as shown in the figures, the three mutually orthogonal axes are designated as the X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis. The Z-axis direction corresponds to the vertical direction (the direction in which gravity acts). The X-axis and Y-axis directions correspond to the horizontal direction. Here, the Y-axis direction corresponds to the direction of medium transport, and the X-axis direction corresponds to the width direction of the medium that intersects the transport direction.
[0043] like Figure 1 As shown, the recording device 1 involved in this embodiment is an inkjet printer, and includes a recording unit 3 and a conveying device 5. The recording unit 3 has a nozzle that ejects ink to a medium P being conveyed in the conveying direction (Y-axis direction) F, and the conveying device 5 conveys the medium P.
[0044] like Figure 1 as well as Figure 2 As shown, the conveying device 5 of this embodiment includes: a conveyor belt 9 having a support surface 7 for supporting the medium P and capable of conveying the medium P; a wiper 11 capable of wiping the support surface 7; a mounting part 13 on which the wiper 11 is mounted; and a pressing part 15 capable of switching between a pressing state in which the wiper 11 is pressed onto the mounting part 13 and a releasing state in which the wiper 11 is released from pressing onto the mounting part 13.
[0045] Furthermore, the wiper 11 includes a base 17 mounted on a mounting portion 13. The mounting portion 13 has a mounting surface 13a that can contact the base 17. Additionally, at least one pin 19 is provided on either the base 17 or the mounting portion 13, and a hole 21 for inserting at least one pin 19 is provided on the other. The number of holes 21 corresponds to the number of pins 19.
[0046] The conveying device 5 of this embodiment includes a wiping section 2 for wiping the support surface 7 of the conveyor belt 9. The wiping section 2 includes a wiper 11, a mounting section 13, and a pressing section 15 as basic elements.
[0047] The wiping part 2 is mounted on the belt cleaning device 14. In this embodiment, the wiping part 2 is mounted in an inclined state relative to the belt cleaning device 14. Specifically, the mounting surface 13a of the mounting part 13 is inclined relative to the Y-axis direction. Therefore, when the wiper 11 is mounted on the mounting part 13, the wiper 11 is inclined relative to the Y-axis direction. The belt cleaning device 14 has a storage part 18 for storing cleaning liquid 16, a brush roller 20, and a wiping part 2, and, as Figure 1 As shown, it is positioned near the drive roller 4 of the conveyor belt 9 (described later). The wiping part 2 is supported inside the storage section 18. Specifically, the mounting part 13 of the wiping part 2 is fixed to the inner surface of the storage section 18. By moving the conveyor belt 9 at the position of the wiping part 2, its supporting surface 7 is wiped by the wiper 11.
[0048] The following describes the structural elements of the conveying device 5.
[0049] conveyor
[0050] like Figure 1 As shown, the conveyor belt 9 is a seamless belt mounted on the drive roller 4 and the driven roller 6. An adhesive layer 8 is provided on the support surface 7 of the outer circumference of the seamless conveyor belt 9. The medium P is adhered to the adhesive layer 8 by means of an adhesive component (omitted from the illustration), and passes through the recording unit 3 in this adhered state. The adhesive component is, for example, a pressing roller that presses the medium P onto the support surface 7. Ink adheres to the support surface 7 of the conveyor belt 9 by the recording action of the recording unit 3. A belt cleaning device 14, which cleans the support surface 7 to which the ink adheres, is arranged near the drive roller 4 as described above.
[0051] Medium P is a common thin recording medium such as paper, cloth, or plastic film that is recorded by an inkjet printer.
[0052] Wiper, hole
[0053] The wiper 11 is formed into a plate shape from an elastic material such as silicone. For example... Figure 2 and Figure 3 As shown, the wiper 11 includes: a base 17 mounted on a mounting portion 13; and a contact portion 10 located at the top end of the base 17 and used to contact the support surface 7 of the conveyor belt 9 to wipe the support surface 7. When the direction parallel to the mounting surface 13a and orthogonal to the X-axis direction is defined as direction A, the length of the wiper 11 in the X-axis direction is greater than the length of the wiper 11 in direction A. Although the contact portion 10 is formed into a pointed shape when viewed from the side in the X-axis direction in this embodiment, it is not limited to this pointed shape. The length of the wiper 11 in the X-axis direction is the same as or slightly longer than the width dimension of the conveyor belt 9, which is the object to be wiped. Furthermore, the wiper is also referred to as a scraper or a wiper scraper in this technical field.
[0054] In this embodiment, the base 17 of the wiper 11 has two circular holes 21, 21 through it. The pin 19 of the mounting part 13, described later, is inserted into these two holes 21, 21.
[0055] Installation Department, Sales
[0056] The mounting section 13 is for mounting the wiper 11, and in this embodiment, the mounting section 13 is provided with two pins 19, 19. Figure 2 , Figure 3 as well as Figure 4As shown, in this embodiment, pins 19 and 19 are cylindrical. However, pins 19 and 19 are not limited to a cylindrical shape; they may also be prisms or the like, and are not limited to a specific shape.
[0057] In addition, such as Figure 2 As shown, the lengths of pins 19, 19 are formed to pass through both the holes 21, 21 of the wiper 11 and the holes 12, 12 of the pressing part 15 (described later). Furthermore, since the lengths of pins 19, 19 only need to reach at least into the holes 21, 21 of the wiper 11, they can also be lengths that do not pass through the pressing part 15. When the lengths of pins 19, 19 are lengths that do not pass through the pressing part 15, the holes 12, 12 may not need to be provided on the pressing part 15.
[0058] Although this embodiment shows a structure with two pins 19, 19 on the mounting portion 13 and two holes 21, 21 on the base 17 of the wiper 11, it is not limited to this embodiment. For example, a structure with two holes 21, 21 on the mounting portion 13 and two pins 19, 19 on the base 17 of the wiper 11 may also be shown. In addition, the number of each pin 19 and hole 21 is not limited to two, as long as there is at least one. That is, the number of pins 19 and holes 21 may be one or more each.
[0059] Variations of pin
[0060] like Figure 5 As shown, a cone 23 may also be provided on the pins 19, 19. Preferably, the cone 23 is a truncated cone shape when the pins 19, 19 are cylindrical, and a truncated pyramid shape when the pins 19, 19 are prisms.
[0061] According to this modified example, when the cone 23 has a tapered shape, it is easier for the pins 19 to pass through the holes 21. Furthermore, when the cone 23 has a thicker shape, it is easier to prevent the pins 19 from accidentally coming out of the holes 21. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the possibility of the wiper 11 falling off the mounting portion 13 due to its own weight.
[0062] Pressing part
[0063] As described above, the pressing part 15 is mounted on the mounting part 13 in a manner that allows switching between a pressing state where the wiper 11 is pressed against the mounting part 13 and a releasing state where the wiper 11 is released from pressing against the mounting part 13. In this embodiment, the pressing part 15 is mounted on the mounting part 13 by omitting connecting parts such as screws shown in the figure. The pressing part 15 is configured to achieve the "pressing state" when mounted on the mounting part 13 and to achieve the "releasing state" when the connecting parts are removed.
[0064] like Figure 2 and Figure 4 As shown, in this embodiment, two holes 12, 12 are provided on the pressing part 15. As described above, the top ends of two pins 19, 19 provided on the mounting part 13 are inserted into the two holes 12, 12 provided on the side of the pressing part 15. The two holes 12, 12 are formed to have approximately the same diameter as the pins 19, 19. That is, pins 19, 19 are inserted into both the holes 21, 21 of the wiper 11 and the holes 12, 12 of the pressing part 15.
[0065] Furthermore, in this embodiment, such as Figure 6 and Figure 7 As shown, the portion of the pressing part 15 that contacts the base 17 has a protrusion / recess 25. This protrusion / recess 25 includes, for example, a plurality of protrusions and recesses formed between adjacent protrusions. The protrusion / recess 25 is provided to reduce the contact area between the pressing part 15 and the base 17 of the wiper 11, thereby suppressing the pressing part 15 from sticking to the wiper 11. The protrusions of the protrusion / recess 25 can contact the portions of the base 17 that are not provided with holes 21, 21. Specific structures of the protrusion / recess 25 can be listed as follows: Figure 6 The structure formed by parallelly arranged long grooves 22 and peaks 24, as shown, or as... Figure 7 The structure shown has multiple hemispherical protrusions 26 arranged longitudinally and transversely.
[0066] Explanation of the function of Implementation Method 1
[0067] Next, based on Figures 2 to 7 The case of replacing the wiper 11 in the recording device 1 equipped with the conveying device 5 of Embodiment 1 will be described.
[0068] First, the device is positioned such that the operator can access and operate the wiping part 2. Then, the engagement of the connecting member is released, thereby removing the pressing part 15 from the mounting part 13. Figure 3Thus, the wiper 11 changes from the pressed state by the pressing part 15 to the released state. Even in the released state, the pins 19, 19 of the mounting part 13 are inserted into the holes 21, 21 of the wiper 11. Therefore, the wiper 11 will not fall off the mounting part 13 unintentionally.
[0069] The operator removes the wiper 11 from the pins 19, 19 and installs the new wiper 11 onto the mounting part 13. That is, the wiper 11 is installed such that the pins 19, 19 are inserted into the holes 21, 21 of the new wiper 11. In this state, the pressing part 15 is installed onto the mounting part 13 via the connecting member. Thus, the replacement of the wiper 11 is completed.
[0070] Explanation of the effects of Implementation Method 1
[0071] (1) According to this embodiment, at least one pin 19 is provided on either the base 17 or the mounting portion 13 of the wiper 11, and the pin 19 is inserted into the holes 21 or 21 provided on the other. Therefore, since the pin 19 is engaged in the holes 21 or 21, when the wiper 11 is being replaced, even if the pressing portion 15 is in the released state, the possibility of the wiper 11 falling due to its own weight can be suppressed. This prevents a decrease in the workability of wiping replacement.
[0072] (2) Furthermore, when the pressing part 15 is switched to the released state, there is a possibility that the wiper 11 may stick to the pressing part 15 due to the material of the material constituting the wiper 11. According to this embodiment, the pressing part 15 has a protrusion 25, and the protrusion of the protrusion 25 contacts the base 17. The protrusion 25 reduces the contact area between the pressing part 15 and the base 17. As a result, the wiper 11 is less likely to stick to the pressing part 15, thereby suppressing the wiping 11 from falling off the pressing part 15 due to the sticking. For example, it is possible to suppress the situation where the wiper 11 falls off the pressing part 15 and into a place other than the user's intended location after a predetermined time has elapsed after the user separates the pressing part 15 from the mounting part 13.
[0073] Furthermore, the height of the protrusion of the concave-convex portion 25 can be either less than or greater than the thickness of the base 17. In the former case, even when the pressing portion 15 is in the pressed state, the wiper 11 is in close contact with the mounting surface 13a, and if the wiper 11 is made of an elastic material, the protrusion will easily sink into the wiper 11. Thus, when the pressing portion 15 is in the pressed state, the situation where the wiper 11 lifts off the mounting surface 13a can be suppressed. Therefore, the reduction in the clamping effect of the wiper 11 achieved by the mounting portion 13 and the pressing portion 15 due to the wiper 11 not being able to adhere tightly to the mounting surface 13a can be suppressed. In the latter case, even if the wiper 11 is made of an elastic material, the wiper 11 is prone to lifting off the mounting surface 13a when the pressing portion 15 is in the pressed state. In this case, by adjusting the number of protrusions on the concave-convex part 25, the contact area between the mounting surface 13a and the base 17 can be reduced while maintaining the clamping action of the wiper 11 achieved by the mounting part 13 and the pressing part 15 at the desired level. Therefore, even if the wiper 11 is made of a material such as butyl rubber, the wiper 11 is difficult to adhere to the mounting surface 13a, making it easy to remove the wiper 11 from the mounting surface 13a.
[0074] Implementation Method 2
[0075] Next, based on Figures 8 to 10 The conveying device 5 according to Embodiment 2 of the present invention will be described in detail.
[0076] In the conveying device 5 of this embodiment, each of the two pins 19 is composed of a first pin 27 and a second pin 29. That is, each pin 19 includes a first pin 27 and a second pin 29. Furthermore, a pair of first pins 27 and second pins 29 are inserted through each of the two holes 21. The structure in which the first pins 27 and second pins 29 are provided on the mounting portion 13 and the holes 21 are provided on the base portion 17 is the same as in embodiment 1.
[0077] Furthermore, a pair of first pins 27 and second pins 29 are mounted on the mounting portion 13 such that, while inserted into the hole 21, they press against the inner wall constituting the hole 21 with pressure in different directions. Specifically, the pair of first pins 27 and second pins 29 are made of an elastomer such as resin. Moreover, the distance between the tips of the first pins 27 and second pins 29 is set to be slightly increased compared to the inner diameter of the hole 21 to generate the pressing force. Therefore, the pressing force is generated by a first restoring force based on the elasticity of the first pin 27 and a second restoring force based on the elasticity of the second pin 29. For example, Figure 8The pair of arrows in the diagram indicate the first restoring force on one side and the second restoring force on the other side in the opposite direction to the first restoring force.
[0078] Here, "different directions" is not limited to the opposite direction along the straight line connecting the first pin 27 and the second pin 29. For example, in Figure 10 In the diagram, the direction of the arrow indicating the direction of pressure may not be determined by... Figure 10 The arrow markings do not indicate a diagonal direction, but rather a vertical direction. For example, "different directions" also include situations where the lines of action of the first and second restoring forces are parallel and inconsistent with each other, or situations where the lines of action of the first and second restoring forces intersect each other.
[0079] exist Figure 8 The diagram shows a structure in which the first pin 27 and the second pin 29 are configured to be spaced apart from each other in direction A. The pressing force is... Figure 8 The direction marked by the arrow.
[0080] exist Figure 9 The diagram shows a structure in which the first pin 27 and the second pin 29 are configured to be spaced apart from each other in the horizontal direction (X-axis direction). The pressing force is... Figure 9 The arrow marks the direction, i.e., the horizontal direction.
[0081] exist Figure 10 The diagram shows a structure in which the first pin 27 and the second pin 29 are configured to be spaced apart from each other in an oblique direction. The pressing force is... Figure 10 The direction marked by the arrow.
[0082] Since the rest of the structure is the same as in Embodiment 1, the same symbols are used for the same parts and their descriptions are omitted. Furthermore, descriptions of the same functions and effects as in Embodiment 1 are also omitted.
[0083] Explanation of the effects of Implementation Method 2
[0084] According to this embodiment, with the first pin 27 and the second pin 29 inserted into the hole 21, the first pin 27 and the second pin 29 press against the inner wall constituting the hole 21 with pressing forces in different directions. Therefore, when replacing the wiper 11, even if the pressing part 15 is in the released state, the possibility of the wiper 11 falling due to its own weight can be further suppressed. Thus, the reduced operability of wiping replacement can be further suppressed.
[0085] Implementation Method 3
[0086] Next, based on Figure 11 and Figure 12The conveying device 5 according to Embodiment 3 of the present invention will be described in detail.
[0087] In the conveying device 5 of this embodiment, the pressing part 15 includes: a sliding part 35, which is capable of sliding relative to the mounting part 13; and a protrusion 31, which is provided at the portion of the sliding part 35 opposite to the base 17. The protrusion 31 is configured to slide along the sliding part 35 to a position where the base 17 can be pressed onto the mounting part 13. Although the protrusion 31 is formed in a convex spherical shape, it is not limited to this convex spherical shape, and may, for example, be a semi-cylindrical shape that is longer in the width direction of the wiper 11.
[0088] In this embodiment, such as Figure 12 As shown, the sliding part 35 has a pair of tracks 30, 30 parallel in the sliding direction. Furthermore, the mounting part 13 also has a pair of elongated slots 32, 32 parallel in the sliding direction. The sliding part 35 is configured such that the pair of tracks 30, 30 are embedded in the pair of elongated slots 32, 32 of the mounting part 13 and slide.
[0089] Furthermore, in this embodiment, a locking part 33 is provided on the mounting part 13 so that the sliding part 35 is locked onto the mounting part 13 in a state where it has slid to the maximum extent relative to the mounting part 13 in direction A. The locking part 33 is provided at a position corresponding to the position where the sliding part 35 is locked onto the mounting part 13. Figure 11 The state is equivalent to the sliding part 35 sliding to the maximum extent relative to the mounting part 13, and the locking part 33 is located in the locking position.
[0090] In this embodiment, the locking part 33 is composed of a rotating small piece, which can be moved to the locking position and the releasing position by rotation. In addition, the above-mentioned rotating structure of the small piece is an example, and the locking part 33 is not limited to this. Of course, it can also be a snap-fit structure that can lock and release.
[0091] Furthermore, in this embodiment, as described above, the belt cleaning device 14 includes a storage section 18 that stores liquid 16 for cleaning the support surface 7 of the conveyor belt 9, and the mounting section 13 is supported inside the storage section 18. Additionally, the sliding section 35 is configured to include a cover 37 that covers at least one pin 19 and holes 21.
[0092] Moreover, such as Figure 12As shown, the cover 37 includes: a first opening 39 for the wiper 11 to enter when it slides relative to the mounting portion 13; and a second opening 41 located opposite to the first opening 39 in the direction of sliding relative to the mounting portion 13. The second opening 41 is configured to be located below the first opening 39 in the direction of gravity.
[0093] Explanation of the effects of implementation method 3
[0094] (1) According to this embodiment, when replacing the wiper 11, the user can press the base 17 onto the mounting portion 13 simply by sliding the sliding portion 35. This improves the operability of replacing the wiper.
[0095] (2) Furthermore, since the sliding part 35 is locked in a state where it has slid to the maximum extent relative to the mounting part 13, the sliding part 35 becomes difficult to fall down.
[0096] (3) Furthermore, since the sliding part 35 includes a cover 37 that covers at least one pin 19, 19 and hole 21, 21, it is possible to prevent contaminants from entering the gaps before the pin 19, 19 and hole 21, 21 and thus soiling the wiper 11 and pin 19, 19 due to the liquid 16 stored in the storage part 18 adhering to the base 17.
[0097] (4) Furthermore, the cover 37 has a first opening 39 for the wiper 11 to enter, and a second opening 41 located opposite to the first opening 39, with the second opening 41 positioned below the first opening 39 in the direction of gravity. Thus, by allowing the liquid 16 used in cleaning the support surface 7 to flow along the wiper 11 and through the second opening 41 into the storage section 18, the possibility of liquid 16 remaining inside the cover 37 can be suppressed. Therefore, the possibility of the cover 37 becoming soiled can be suppressed.
[0098] Other implementation methods
[0099] Although the recording device 1 equipped with the conveying device 5 according to the embodiments of the present invention is based on the structure described above, it is of course possible to make some structural changes and omissions without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
[0100] In embodiment 3, the state in which "the sliding part 35 has slid and moved to its maximum extent relative to the mounting part 13" is not limited to... Figure 11The position of the sliding part 35 is shown. That is, it can also be configured such that the sliding part 35 is locked onto the mounting part 13 while having slid to its maximum extent relative to the mounting part 13 in a direction opposite to direction A. Alternatively, it can be configured such that the sliding part 35 is locked onto the mounting part 13 while having slid to its maximum extent relative to the mounting part 13 in a direction intersecting direction A. In these cases, the extending directions of the pair of tracks 30, 30 and the long slots 32, 32 can be appropriately changed according to the design of the moving direction of the sliding part 35. Furthermore, the position of the small piece of the locking part 33 and the configuration of the latching mechanism can also be appropriately changed.
