[0111] In the second edge portion 72, a portion along the outer side edge 50b of the main lamp body portion 50 is inclined so as to approach the first edge portion 71 from below as it approaches the vehicle-width-direction outside. A separation portion 73 is provided at the surface 43a of the lens portion 43 at which an end portion 72a of the second edge portion 72 on the vehicle-width-direction outside is separated downward with respect to the first edge portion 71. By providing the separation portion 73, the end portion 72a of the second edge portion 72 is not connected to the first edge portion 71.
[0112] Figure 6 is a cross-sectional view along the VI-VI line in Figure 4 . Figure 7 is a cross-sectional view along the VII-VII line in Figure 4 . Figure 8 is a cross-sectional view along the VIII-VIII line in Figure 4 . Figure 9 is a cross-sectional view along the IX-IX line in Figure 4 .
[0113] Referring to Figures 5-9 , the first edge portion 71 has a first edge main portion 71a that has a linear first ridge portion 75 (ridge portion) that extends in the vehicle-width direction, and a first inclined surface portion 76 (inclined surface portion) that extends upward from a first lower side surface portion 55a (lower side surface portion) positioned below the first ridge portion 75, and is connected to the first ridge portion 75.
[0114] The first lower side surface portion 55a is a surface of an upper portion of the main lamp body lens portion 55, and is a portion positioned below the first edge portion 71. The first lower side surface portion 55a extends rearward and upward in a posture close to vertical.
[0115] When the vehicle is viewed in the side view, the first inclined surface portion 76 is inclined so as to lean forward with respect to the first lower side surface portion 55a, and is closer to vertical than the first lower side surface portion 55a.
[0116] For example, as shown in Figure 6 , the first inclined surface portion 76 is inclined forward by an angle Al with respect to the first lower side surface portion 55a.
[0117] As shown in Figures 5-9 , the first ridge portion 75 and the first inclined surface portion 76 are provided over the entire length of the first edge main portion 71a.
[0118] The width H1( Figure 4The width is roughly the same throughout the entire vehicle width direction.
[0119] The angle of surface 43a changes with the first ridge portion 75 as the boundary. The first auxiliary lamp lens portion 56 above the first ridge portion 75 tilts backward relative to the first inclined surface portion 76 below the first ridge portion 75, and the tilt is relatively gentle.
[0120] The second edge portion 72 includes: a linear second ridge portion 77 (ridge portion) extending in the vehicle width direction; and a second inclined surface portion 78 (inclined surface portion) extending upward from the second lower surface portion 58a (lower surface portion) located below the second ridge portion 77 on the surface 43a and connected to the second ridge portion 77.
[0121] The second lower surface portion 58a is the upper surface of the second auxiliary lamp lens portion 58, and is the portion located below the second edge portion 72. The second lower surface portion 58a extends vertically in a near-vertical manner.
[0122] When observing the vehicle from the side, the second inclined surface portion 78 tilts forward and upward relative to the second lower surface portion 58a.
[0123] For example, such as Figure 6 As shown, the second inclined surface portion 78 is inclined forward by an angle A2 compared to the second lower surface portion 58a.
[0124] like Figures 5-9 As shown, the second ridge portion 77 and the second inclined surface portion 78 are provided along the entire length of the second edge portion 72.
[0125] The vertical width H2 of the second inclined surface portion 78 Figure 4 It widens as it moves towards the outer side of the vehicle width direction.
[0126] The angle of surface 43a changes with the second ridge portion 77 as the boundary. The main lamp lens portion 55 above the second ridge portion 77 is tilted rearward relative to the second inclined surface portion 78 below the second ridge portion 77.
[0127] Reference Figure 4 as well as Figure 9 A separation portion 73 is provided between the end 71c on the outer side of the first edge portion 71a in the vehicle width direction and the end 72a on the outer side of the second edge portion 72 in the vehicle width direction. [0128] The emitted light L of the main lamp body portion 50 is emitted toward the front through the inside of the cylindrical partition wall 60. Therefore, the emitted light L of the first sub lamp body portion 51 above the main lamp body portion 50 and the emitted light L2 of the second sub lamp body portion 52 below the main lamp body portion 50 are suppressed from being affected by the emitted light L of the main lamp body portion 50 by the partition wall 60.
[0129] In addition, the partition wall 60 suppresses the emitted light L1 of the first sub lamp body portion 51 from affecting the emitted light L of the main lamp body portion 50 and suppresses the emitted light L2 of the second sub lamp body portion 52 from affecting the emitted light L of the main lamp body portion 50.
[0130] The first along body portion 71a functions to separate the emitted light L of the main lamp body portion 50 and the emitted light L1 of the first sub lamp body portion 51 vertically. The first along body portion 71a overlaps the partition wall 60 from the front, and therefore, the emitted light L of the main lamp body portion 50 and the emitted light L1 of the first sub lamp body portion 51 can be effectively suppressed from affecting each other. Therefore, the emitted light L of the main lamp body portion 50 and the emitted light L1 of the first sub lamp body portion 51 each become clear, and the visibility of the main lamp body portion 50 and the first sub lamp body portion 51 is good.
[0131] The second along portion 72 functions to separate the emitted light L of the main lamp body portion 50 and the emitted light L2 of the second sub lamp body portion 52 vertically. The second along portion 72 overlaps the partition wall 60 from the front, and therefore, the emitted light L of the main lamp body portion 50 and the emitted light L2 of the second sub lamp body portion 52 can be effectively suppressed from affecting each other. Therefore, the emitted light L of the main lamp body portion 50 and the emitted light L2 of the second sub lamp body portion 52 each become clear, and the visibility of the main lamp body portion 50 and the second sub lamp body portion 52 is good.
[0132] Dirt such as mud and the like can sometimes adhere to the surface 43a of the lens portion 43.
[0133] A portion of the running wind flowing along the front surface 10a of the saddle-riding type vehicle 10 is a first running wind W1 flowing along the first along portion 71 toward the outside in the vehicle width direction at the lower side of the first along portion 71. Figure 4 ).
[0134] The movement of the dirt adhering to the surface of the main lamp body lens portion 55 toward the first sub lamp body portion 51 above is suppressed by the first along portion 71, and the dirt flows toward the outside in the vehicle width direction by the first running wind W1 along the first along portion 71, and thus, is detached from the surface 43a. Therefore, the contamination of the surface 43a of the lens portion 43 can be suppressed, and the visibility from the passenger's perspective based on the irradiation of the headlamp 40 and the visibility of the headlamp 40 can be improved.
[0135] Further, the first inclined surface portion 76 that connects the first lower side surface portion 55a and the first ridge line portion 75 is inclined in a manner that inclines toward the front side with respect to the first lower side surface portion 55a. Thus, the first inclined surface portion 76 becomes an obstacle with respect to dirt that moves upward along the main lamp body lens portion 55, and thus, it is possible to suppress the movement of dirt of the main lamp body lens portion 55 toward the first sub lamp body portion 51.
[0136] Dirt that flows to the vehicle width direction outer side along the first running wind W1 flows to the vehicle width direction outer side from the separation portion 73. Thus, it is possible to smoothly discharge the dirt from the surface 43a.
[0137] A portion of the running wind that flows along the front surface 10a of the saddle-riding type vehicle 10 is a second running wind W2 that flows along the second ridge line portion 72 toward the vehicle width direction outer side on the lower side of the second ridge line portion 72. Figure 4 ).
[0138] The movement of dirt that adheres to the surface of the second sub lamp body lens portion 58 upward of the main lamp body lens portion 55 is suppressed by the second ridge line portion 72, and the dirt flows to the vehicle width direction outer side by the second running wind W2 along the second ridge line portion 72, and thus, is detached from the surface 43a. Thus, it is possible to suppress the contamination of the surface 43a of the lens portion 43, and it is possible to improve the visibility from the rider's perspective based on the irradiation of the headlamp 40, and the visibility of the headlamp 40.
[0139] Further, the second inclined surface portion 78 that connects the second lower side surface portion 58a and the second ridge line portion 77 is inclined in a manner that inclines toward the front side with respect to the second lower side surface portion 58a. Thus, the second inclined surface portion 78 becomes an obstacle with respect to dirt that moves upward along the second sub lamp body lens portion 58, and thus, it is possible to suppress the movement of dirt of the second sub lamp body lens portion 58 toward the main lamp body lens portion 55.
[0140] As explained above, according to the embodiment to which the present application is applied, the headlamp 40 of the saddle-riding type vehicle 10 has the lens portion 43 that transmits the emitted light of the main lamp body portion 50, the first sub lamp body portion 51, and the second sub lamp body portion 52, and the angle of the surface 43a of the lens portion 43 changes at the ridge line-shaped first ridge line portion 71 and the second ridge line portion 72 that are provided on the surface 43a. The first sub lamp body portion 51 is arranged above with respect to the main lamp body portion 50, the second sub lamp body portion 52 is arranged below with respect to the main lamp body portion 50, and the first sub lamp body portion 51 and the second sub lamp body portion 52 extend in the vehicle width direction along the main lamp body portion 50. The first ridge line portion 71 extends in the vehicle width direction at the boundary between the main lamp body portion 50 and the first sub lamp body portion 51, and the second ridge line portion 72 extends in the vehicle width direction at the boundary between the main lamp body portion 50 and the second sub lamp body portion 52.
[0141] According to this structure, dirt such as mud adhering to the main lamp body portion 50 is moved in the vehicle width direction along the ridge line-shaped first edge portion 71 by the first traveling wind W1 of the saddle-type vehicle 10. Therefore, the case where dirt adhering to the main lamp body portion 50 moves toward the first sub-lamp body portion 51 is suppressed, and the visibility and the visibility of the headlamp 40 can be improved.
[0142] In addition, dirt such as mud adhering to the second sub-lamp body portion 52 is moved in the vehicle width direction along the ridge line-shaped second edge portion 72 by the second traveling wind W2 of the saddle-type vehicle 10. Therefore, the case where dirt adhering to the second sub-lamp body portion 52 moves toward the main lamp body portion 50 is suppressed, and the visibility and the visibility of the headlamp 40 can be improved.
[0143] In addition, the first edge portion 71 and the second edge portion 72 are inclined in such a manner as to be located above as they approach the outside in the vehicle width direction when the vehicle is viewed in the front view.
[0144] According to this structure, by the first traveling wind W1 flowing along the first edge portion 71 and the second traveling wind W2 flowing along the second edge portion 72, dirt of the lens portion 43 can be effectively moved toward the outside in the vehicle width direction.
[0145] In addition, the surface 43a of the lens portion 43 is inclined as a whole toward the rear and the upper side, the first edge portion 71 includes a first ridge line portion 75 extending in the vehicle width direction, and a first inclined surface portion 76 extending upward on the surface 43a from a first lower side surface portion 55a located below the first ridge line portion 75 and connected to the first ridge line portion 75, the first inclined surface portion 76 is inclined in such a manner as to be tilted toward the front side with respect to the first lower side surface portion 55a when the vehicle is viewed in the side view. Further, the second edge portion 72 includes a second ridge line portion 77 extending in the vehicle width direction, and a second inclined surface portion 78 extending upward on the surface 43a from a second lower side surface portion 58a located below the second ridge line portion 77 and connected to the second ridge line portion 77, the second inclined surface portion 78 is inclined in such a manner as to be tilted toward the front side with respect to the second lower side surface portion 58a when the vehicle is viewed in the side view.
[0146] According to this structure, the first inclined surface portion 76 of the first edge portion 71 is inclined in such a manner as to be tilted toward the front side with respect to the first lower side surface portion 55a, and therefore, the case where dirt of the surface 43a of the lens portion 43 moves upward over the first inclined surface portion 76 and the first ridge line portion 75 is suppressed. Therefore, the movement of dirt between the main lamp body portion 50 and the first sub-lamp body portion 51 can be suppressed. Further, the case where dirt of the surface 43a of the lens portion 43 moves upward over the second inclined surface portion 78 and the second ridge line portion 77 is suppressed. Therefore, the movement of dirt between the second sub-lamp body portion 52 and the main lamp body portion 50 can be suppressed.
[0147] Further, the width H1 of the first inclined surface portion 76 is constant in the vehicle width direction. According to this structure, the width H1 of the first inclined surface portion 76 is kept wide in the entire vehicle width direction, and thus the movement of dirt can be effectively suppressed by the first inclined surface portion 76.
[0148] Further, the width H2 of the second inclined surface portion 78 is wider as it approaches the outside in the vehicle width direction. According to this structure, the width H2 of the second inclined surface portion 78 is kept wide in the entire vehicle width direction, and thus the movement of dirt can be effectively suppressed by the second inclined surface portion 78.
[0149] Further, the sub-lamp body portion has a first sub-lamp body portion 51 disposed above the main-lamp body portion 50 and a second sub-lamp body portion 52 disposed below the main-lamp body portion 50, and a side portion has a first side portion 71 disposed between the first sub-lamp body portion 51 and the main-lamp body portion 50 and a second side portion 72 disposed between the second sub-lamp body portion 52 and the main-lamp body portion 50.
[0150] According to this structure, the headlamp 40 can have a unique appearance and good appearance by sandwiching the main-lamp body portion 50 by the first and second sub-lamp body portions 51 and 52. Further, the movement of dirt from the second sub-lamp body portion 52 to the main-lamp body portion 50 can be suppressed by the second side portion 72, and the movement of dirt from the main-lamp body portion 50 to the first sub-lamp body portion 51 can be suppressed by the first side portion 71.
[0151] Further, the second side portion 72 is inclined so as to approach the first side portion 71 from below as it approaches the outside in the vehicle width direction, and a separation portion 73 is provided at the surface 43a of the lens portion 43 at which an end portion 72a of the second side portion 72 on the outside in the vehicle width direction is separated downward with respect to the first side portion 71.
[0152] According to this structure, dirt adhering to the main-lamp body portion 50 can efficiently flow from the separation portion 73 to the outside in the vehicle width direction, and the accumulation of dirt between the first and second side portions 71 and 72 can be suppressed. Thus, the contamination of the main-lamp body portion 50 can be suppressed.
[0153] Further, the headlamp 40 is provided with a partition wall 60 that separates the light L emitted from the main-lamp body portion 50 and the light L1 emitted from the first sub-lamp body portion 51 at a position inward of the lens portion 43, and the first side portion 71 is disposed so as to overlap the partition wall 60 from the front.
[0154] According to this structure, the light divided by the partition wall 60 into the emission light L of the main lamp body portion 50 and the emission light L1 of the first sub lamp body portion 51 is more clearly divided with the first edge portion 71 overlapping the partition wall 60 from the front. Therefore, the emission light L of the main lamp body portion 50 and the emission light L1 of the first sub lamp body portion 51 are easily distinguished, and the visibility and the appearance of the headlamp 40 are improved.

[0171] According to this structure, by having the main lamp body sandwiched between the first and second auxiliary lamp body portions, the headlight can achieve a unique appearance. Furthermore, the second edge portion can inhibit the movement of dirt from the second auxiliary lamp body portion to the main lamp body portion, and the first edge portion can inhibit the movement of dirt from the main lamp body portion to the first auxiliary lamp body portion.
[0172] (Structure 6) The headlight of the saddle-type vehicle according to Structure 5 is characterized in that the second edge is arranged obliquely to approach the first edge from below as it moves toward the outer side in the vehicle width direction, and a separation portion is provided on the surface of the lens, at which the outer end of the second edge in the vehicle width direction is separated from the first edge downward.
[0173] According to this structure, dirt adhering to the main lamp body can be efficiently flowed from the separation section to the outer side in the vehicle width direction, and dirt accumulation between the first edge and the second edge can be suppressed. Therefore, contamination of the main lamp body can be suppressed.
[0174] (Structure 7) The headlight of the saddle-type vehicle according to any one of Structures 1 to 6 is characterized in that a partition wall is arranged at a position inside the lens to separate the light emitted by the main lamp body and the light emitted by the auxiliary lamp body, and the edge is arranged along the partition wall and overlaps the partition wall from the front.
[0175] According to this structure, the light emitted by the main lamp body and the light emitted by the auxiliary lamp body, which are separated by the partition wall, are more clearly separated by the edge overlapping the partition wall from the front. Therefore, it is easier to distinguish the light emitted by the main lamp body and the light emitted by the auxiliary lamp body, and the visual visibility and appearance of the headlight are improved.
