Abstract

The invention relates to a battery box air tightness detection device, comprising: a device frame; a test box, the test box being arranged in the device frame, and an opening for placing a workpiece to be tested being opened on the top of the test box; and a partition being arranged in the test box, the partition dividing the test box from top to bottom into a detection chamber and a processing chamber. The invention drips a dark detection liquid into the detection chamber. If there is a welding gap on the surface of the battery box, water can penetrate into the interior through the welding gap, and the dark detection liquid flows along the water flow, so that the position of the welding gap can be visually observed. After the detection is completed, a pressing mechanism moves upward, and the water in the detection chamber enters the processing chamber through a water outlet. Since there is a reducing agent in the processing chamber, the reducing agent can react with the detection liquid to change dark brown iodine tincture into a colorless and transparent liquid, so that the water source can be reused.
