A low-carbon pre-nickel-plated steel strip and its preparation method

Abstract

This invention provides a low-carbon pre-nickel-plated steel strip and its preparation method, belonging to the field of steel production technology. The preparation method of the pre-nickel-plated steel strip includes: heating, staged rolling, post-rolling cooling, and coiling a slab with a set chemical composition to obtain a hot-rolled coil; pickling and cold continuous rolling the hot-rolled coil to obtain a cold-hardened coil; nickel plating the cold-hardened coil and controlling the nickel layer thickness to obtain a nickel-plated coil; and continuous annealing and leveling the nickel-plated coil and controlling the elongation of the leveled layer to obtain the pre-nickel-plated steel strip. The nickel-plated steel strip prepared by this application can meet the stringent testing conditions and service environment of power batteries, solving the problem of poor corrosion resistance of existing nickel-plated steel strips used in battery casings.
