Backlight module

Abstract

A backlight module includes a light guide plate, a light source, a low reflection element and a light blocking element. The light guide plate has an incident surface, an emitting surface and a bottom surface. The light source includes a circuit board and a plurality of light emitting elements, wherein the circuit board is located on the emitting surface, and the plurality of light emitting elements are arranged on the circuit board and spaced from each other. Each of the light emitting elements has a light emitting surface facing the incident surface. The low reflection element is located on the bottom surface of the light guide plate and has a base and a plurality of extending portions, wherein the base is located on the side of the light guide plate having the incident surface, and the plurality of extending portions extend from the base in a direction away from the incident surface. The plurality of extending portions are spaced from each other and arranged in a staggered manner with the plurality of light emitting elements. The light blocking element is located between the circuit board and the emitting surface, and includes a plurality of adhesive members connecting the light blocking element and the light guide plate. The plurality of adhesive members are spaced from each other and arranged in a staggered manner with the plurality of light emitting elements.
