Abstract

The application discloses a chip and a printing consumable. The chip comprises a memory, a substrate and a plurality of terminals. The memory is arranged on the substrate. The plurality of terminals are arranged on the substrate respectively, and each terminal is electrically connected with the memory. Each terminal can be in abutment with a stylus. The plurality of terminals comprise a first terminal, a second terminal, a third terminal, a fourth terminal and a fifth terminal. The fifth terminal, the second terminal and the third terminal are arranged in different rows, or the first terminal and the fourth terminal are arranged in different rows. The fifth terminal, the second terminal and the third terminal are arranged in different rows, or the first terminal and the fourth terminal are arranged in different rows, so that at least one terminal has a surface difference with other terminals. Therefore, the contact part of the stylus and each terminal has a certain surface difference, and the printing consumable can be limited from being deviated along the width direction of the printing consumable, so as to improve the stability of the connection between the chip and the stylus holder. Meanwhile, the stability and reliability of the contact are improved.
