[0038] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail by explaining preferred embodiments of the present invention with reference to the attached drawings.

[0039] An embodiment of the present invention provides a structure in which a vehicle body lower longitudinal beam, a battery cross beam, a chassis frame and a floor cross beam constitute a load path when the vehicle collides laterally.

[0040] Figure 1 2 is a view showing a frame assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention. Figure 1 The components relevant to the embodiment are mainly shown, but it is self-evident that more or fewer components may be included in the actual implementation of the frame assembly.

[0041] Reference Figure 1 The vehicle frame assembly according to the embodiment of the present invention may include a vehicle body cross member, a vehicle body lower longitudinal member 300 and a supporting member 400 .

[0042] First, the body cross beam may include a plurality of body cross beams provided at the body floor 20, arranged from the front side to the rear side of the body floor 20, and extending transversely. The body cross beam may be divided into a first body cross beam 210, a second body cross beam 220, a third body cross beam 230, a fourth body cross beam 240, and a fifth body cross beam 250 from the front side of the vehicle. Since the plurality of body cross beams are arranged to be spaced apart from each other at regular intervals, impact force caused by a lateral collision of the vehicle may be dispersed in multiple directions, thereby dispersing a load applied to the lower frame of the vehicle to various members.

[0043] The chassis frame 100 may be provided at the lower portion of the vehicle body and may be arranged at a position further inward of the vehicle body than the vehicle body lower side sill 300, and the battery pack 10 may be mounted on the chassis frame 100. The battery pack 10 of the vehicle may be located at the lowest position of the vehicle so that the center of mass of the vehicle is at the lowest level, and may be supported at the lateral side thereof by the chassis frame 100. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the load applied to the battery pack 10 at the time of a lateral collision of the vehicle.

[0044] The vehicle is provided with a plurality of mounting portions extending in an outward direction of the chassis frame 100 and fastened to the vehicle body floor 20 and the vehicle body cross member by bolts, respectively. More specifically, a first mounting portion A provided at the front side of the chassis frame 100 may be coupled to the lower end of the vehicle body floor 20, and a second mounting portion B provided at the rear side of the chassis frame 100 may be coupled to the fifth vehicle body cross member 250, thereby maximizing the torsional rigidity and connection capability of the vehicle. The chassis frame 100 may be configured to be separated from the vehicle body cross member and the vehicle body lower longitudinal member 300.

[0045] The body side member 300 may be disposed at the vehicle outer side corresponding to the body cross member, and may be connected to the body cross member and extend in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The body side member 300 may be connected to both ends of the body cross member at its inner surface, thereby maximizing the rigidity of the lower end of the body floor 20. As a result, since the load applied to the body side member 300 at the time of a lateral collision of the vehicle is directly transmitted to each body cross member, the load is not excessively applied and is dispersed, thereby increasing the overall frame rigidity.

[0046] In the following, reference will be made to Figure 2The supporting member 400 will be described.

[0047] Figure 2 1 is a view showing a load path of a frame assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention when a vehicle lateral collision occurs.

[0048] Reference Figure 2 The support member 400 is provided with extended ends extending from the center thereof in multiple directions to define a "Y" shape. The extended ends of the support member 400 may connect at least one vehicle body cross beam to the vehicle body lower longitudinal beam 300. Figure 2 As shown, among the extension ends, the inner extension end may extend obliquely from the center of the support member 400 and may be connected to two vehicle body cross members, while the outer extension end may extend outward and may be connected to the vehicle body lower side member 300 .

[0049] In one embodiment, the support member 400 may connect two adjacent cross beams among the five cross beams of the first cross beam 210 to the fifth cross beam 250 to the side beam 300. In addition, since the support member 400 includes a plurality of support members 400, it is possible to more effectively disperse the load caused by the lateral collision of the vehicle. Through the connection structure of the support member 400, the cross beam, the side beam 300, and the support member 400 are connected to each other to form a load path for the lateral collision of the vehicle.

[0050] Figure 3 1 is a view showing a center side member 310 and an upper door panel 31 according to an embodiment of the present invention. Figure 4 1 is a view showing a longitudinal cross section of a vehicle region where an upper door panel 31 and a lower door panel 30 according to an embodiment of the present invention are provided.

[0051] Reference Figure 3 and Figure 4 The upper door panel 31 may be disposed above the lower longitudinal beam 300 of the vehicle body and may be connected to the vehicle body floor 20. The upper door panel 31 may connect the B-pillar 40 at the front side thereof to the C-pillar 50 at the rear side thereof so as to form an effective connection structure with the vehicle frame and maximize the torsional rigidity and connection capacity of the vehicle. The lower door panel 30 may be disposed below the upper door panel 31. The lower door panel 30 may be coupled to the center side beam 310 described later so that the load caused by the lateral collision of the vehicle is transmitted to the lower door panel 30.

[0052] In particular, the center side beam 310 and the support member 400 may be sequentially arranged on the vehicle inner side in the inward direction of the lower door panel 30. Here, since the lower surface of the center side beam 310 contacts the lower end of the support member 400 and the lower door panel 30, a load path structure is formed in which the load caused by the lateral collision of the vehicle is transferred from the lower door panel 30 to the center side beam 310 and then from the center side beam 310 to the support member 400.

[0053] Furthermore, since the roller guide structure F of the door arm 32 is provided on the door lower panel 30 , the sliding door of the vehicle can be stably opened and closed.

[0054] In addition, the door lower panel 30 and the door upper panel 31 may abut against each other at the periphery in the vertical direction, and may be joined to each other in a face-to-face manner at the periphery to define an interior space. In the interior space defined between the door upper panel 31 and the door lower panel 30, a door arm 32 that enables a sliding door of the vehicle to be opened and closed may be provided below the door upper panel 31. Through the mounting structure of the door arm 32, the problem of connection capability caused by the vehicle body lower side beam 300 being provided at a lower level and applying a sliding door can be fully compensated.

[0055] Each of the door upper panel 31 and the door lower panel 30 may be connected to the vehicle body lower side member 300 at one side thereof, and may be configured to have a shape with increasing width moving from the rear portion to the center portion thereof. This is because the center portions of the door upper panel 31 and the door lower panel 30 are connected to the center side member 310. Through such a connection structure, it is possible to evenly disperse the load caused by a lateral collision of the vehicle in the inward direction of the vehicle.

[0056] Figure 5 4 is a view showing a triangular cross-sectional structure defined by a vehicle body cross member, a support member 400, and a central side member 310 according to an embodiment of the present invention. The central side member 310 may connect at least two vehicle body cross members to each other in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle at the central portion of the support member 400. In one embodiment, for example, Figure 5 As shown, the center side member 310 may be configured to connect the second cross member 220 and the fourth cross member 240 to each other below the vehicle body floor 20. The center side member 310 may also be connected to the support member 400 at one side thereof, thereby helping to increase the torsional rigidity of the vehicle.

[0057] In addition, refer to Figure 5 , it can be noted that a triangular cross-sectional structure D is defined by the support member 400, the center side beam 310, and the second to fourth body cross beams 220 to 240 in the inward direction of the vehicle. This three-point support structure enables the load applied to the lower frame of the vehicle to be dispersed to the center side beam 310 and the first to fifth body cross beams 210 to 250, with the result that the load shared by each body cross beam becomes very low, thereby improving the stability of the battery.

[0058] Here, each support member 400 may be located on the same side as the side where the central side beam 310 is located. Since the support member 400 that connects two adjacent body cross beams to each other in order to cope with a lateral collision of the vehicle includes a plurality of support members 400, the torsional rigidity of the vehicle can be further increased. In addition, the plurality of support members 400 may be arranged in the same direction while being spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and may be connected to the central side beam 310 at a first side thereof.

[0059] The plurality of body cross members, body side members 300, and support members 400 described above can all be connected to the body floor 20 of the vehicle. With the prevalence of PBVs in which the height of the body floor 20 is reduced, the body side members 300 are arranged at a lower level than conventional vehicles, thereby weakening the structure for dealing with a lateral collision of the vehicle and also reducing the rigidity of the body floor 20. Here, by connecting the body floor 20 with the plurality of body cross members, body side members 300, and support members 400, it is possible to disperse the excessive load applied to the underframe of the vehicle to each member, thereby increasing the rigidity of the lower end of the body floor 20.

[0060] Figure 6 and Figure 7 4 is a view showing a partition wall formed by welding a B-pillar 40 to the door upper panel 31 and the door lower panel 30 according to the embodiment of the present invention.

[0061] Reference Figure 6 and Figure 7 , shows a partition wall E formed by welding the B-pillar 40 to the door upper panel 31 and the door lower panel 30 and having a closed cross section. By the structure of the partition wall E, it is possible to prevent excessive load from being concentrated on the door upper panel 31 and the door lower panel 30, and to disperse the load caused by a lateral collision to the B-pillar 40.

[0062] Figure 8 and Fig. 9 is a view showing an extension beam 410 according to an embodiment of the present invention.

[0063] Reference Figure 8 and Fig. 9 , the extension beam 410 may extend in the width direction of the vehicle to connect the center side beam 310 to the vehicle body lower side beam 300. In a vehicle structure in which the end of the vehicle body lower side beam 300 is arranged at the lower end of the vehicle body cross beam due to the application of the sliding door, a load path for a lateral collision of the vehicle can be formed by arranging an additional extension beam 410. In this case, the vehicle body cross beam, the vehicle body lower side beam 300, the extension beam 410 and the center side beam 310 are connected to each other to form a load path for a lateral collision of the vehicle.

[0064] As is apparent from the above description, in a vehicle structure using sliding doors, since a load path for a lateral collision of the vehicle is formed through an effective connection structure between the body cross beam, the body lower longitudinal beam and the supporting member, the torsional rigidity and connection capacity of the vehicle can be maximized, and the excessive load applied to the lower frame of the vehicle can be dispersed to various members, thereby improving the stability of the battery during a lateral collision of the vehicle.

[0065] Effects obtainable by the embodiments of the present invention are not limited to the above-mentioned effects, and those skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains will clearly understand other effects of the embodiments of the present invention not mentioned above from the foregoing description.

[0066] Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described above with reference to the accompanying drawings, those skilled in the art will appreciate that the embodiments of the present invention may be implemented as various other embodiments without changing the technical ideas or features of the present invention.
