[0054] Figure 1 A schematic diagram of a communication system 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown. Figure 1In the embodiment of the present invention, the communication system 100 includes a wearable device 110 and a contact lens element 190. For example, the wearable device 110 may be a head mounted communication device, and the contact lens element 190 may be a smart contact lens (SCL), which may have a communication function, but is not limited thereto. In detail, the wearable device 110 includes a transceiver circuit 120, a first metal structure 150, a second metal structure 160, and a reflector 170. It must be understood that although not shown in Figure 1 However, the wearable device 110 may further include other components, such as: a housing, a nonconductive carrier element, a speaker, or (and) a processor.

[0055] The transceiver circuit 120 includes a wireless communication circuit 130 and a wireless charging circuit 140. For example, the wireless communication circuit 130 may include a signal source and a signal processor (not shown), and the wireless charging circuit 140 may be further coupled to a battery module or an external AC power source (not shown), but is not limited thereto.

[0056] The first metal wire structure 150 may include a coil. The first metal structure 150 is coupled to the wireless communication circuit 130, wherein the first metal structure 150 can be used to communicate with the contact lens element 190. In some embodiments, the first metal structure 150 can also be coupled to a first matching circuit (Matching Circuit) (not shown) so as to adjust its corresponding impedance matching (Impedance Matching). For example, the first metal structure 150 can operate in a first frequency band (Frequency Band), wherein the aforementioned first frequency band can be between 10MHz and 100MHz. However, the present invention is not limited to this. In other embodiments, the wearable device 110 may further include multiple first metal structures 150, all of which can be coupled to the wireless communication circuit 130.

[0057] In other embodiments, the first metal structure 150 may also include one or more contact electrodes (Electrode Pads) for human body communication (HBC). In a human body communication system, the contact electrode is usually designed as a metal surface in contact with the skin in order to effectively transmit and receive communication signals mediated by the human body. In some embodiments, the contact electrodes of the first metal structure 150 can be used to transmit a human body communication signal through a human head to a human body communication transceiver module on a smart contact lens. The aforementioned contact electrodes can be implemented by materials with good conductivity and biocompatibility, such as: a metal (such as copper, silver), a carbon material, or a biocompatible coating, etc. The specific structure of the contact electrode may vary depending on various applications, including different shapes, different sizes, and different arrangements.

[0058] The second metal structure 160 is coupled to the wireless charging circuit 140, wherein the second metal structure 160 can be used to provide power to the contact lens element 190. Similarly, the second metal structure 160 may also include a coil or one or more contact electrodes. In some embodiments, the second metal structure 160 may also be coupled to a second matching circuit (not shown) so that its corresponding impedance matching can be adjusted. For example, the second metal structure 160 may operate in a second frequency band, wherein the aforementioned second frequency band may be between 1MHz and 15MHz. In addition, there may be an overlapping frequency band between the aforementioned first frequency band and the second frequency band, which helps to further enhance some of the efficacy of the aforementioned first frequency band. However, the present invention is not limited to this. In other embodiments, the wearable device 110 may further include multiple second metal structures 160, all of which can be coupled to the wireless charging circuit 140.

[0059] For example, the reflector 170 can be implemented by a ferrite sheet. The reflector 170 is adjacent to the first metal structure 150 and the second metal structure 160 to reflect the radiation energy from the first metal structure 150 and the second metal structure 160. Therefore, the overall transmission efficiency of the wearable device 110 can be greatly improved. It must be noted that the term "adjacent" or "adjacent" in this specification may refer to the corresponding two elements being less than a predetermined distance (for example, 10 mm or shorter), but generally does not include the situation where the corresponding two elements are in direct contact with each other (that is, the aforementioned distance is shortened to 0).

[0060] In some embodiments, the contact lens element 190 includes a transceiver module 192, a power module 194, and a display unit 196, but is not limited thereto. The transceiver module 192 is wirelessly connected to the first metal structure 150 of the wearable device 110, and can be used to receive data from the wireless communication circuit 130 of the wearable device 110. The power module 194 is wirelessly connected to the second metal structure 160 of the wearable device 110. For example, the power module 194 may include another coil (not shown), which can be used to receive power from the wireless charging circuit 140 of the wearable device 110. In addition, the display unit 196 is coupled to the transceiver module 192 and the power module 194, respectively, wherein the display unit 196 can be powered by the power module 194, and the display unit 196 can further display a corresponding screen according to the data received by the transceiver module 192.

[0061] Under the design of the present invention, the wearable device 110 of the communication system 100 can simultaneously execute a communication process and a charging process for its contact lens element 190. It must be understood that the contact lens element 190 must rely on stable power to provide good communication functions. Therefore, the wearable device 110 mentioned above prioritizes ensuring its power supply to effectively improve the overall communication quality of the communication system 100.

[0062] In some embodiments, if a specific distance DS between the first metal structure 150 or the second metal structure 160 and the contact lens element 190 is set to be between 5 cm and 30 cm, the overall communication quality of the communication system 100 can be further improved. In other embodiments, the wearable device 110 can also be used alone, and does not necessarily have to be integrated with the contact lens element 190. In other simpler embodiments, the wearable device 110 may not include the second metal structure 160, and the transceiver circuit 120 may not include the wireless power circuit 140, but it is not limited thereto.

[0063] The following embodiments will introduce various configurations and detailed structural features of the communication system 100. It should be understood that these drawings and descriptions are only for example and are not intended to limit the present invention.

[0064] Figure 2A A cross-sectional view of a communication system 200 according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown. Figure 2B A partial perspective view of a communication system 200 according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown. Figure 2A , 2B . Figure 2A , 2B and Figure 1 Similar. Figure 2A , 2BIn the embodiment of the present invention, the communication system 200 includes a wearable device 210 and a contact lens element 290, wherein the wearable device 210 includes a first metal structure 250, a second metal structure 260, a reflector 270, and a helmet body 280. It should be understood that in order to simplify the drawings, the aforementioned transceiver circuit is not shown in FIG. Figure 2A , 2B For example, the helmet body 280 may be made of a non-conductive material, and may be a full-face helmet (Full-Face Helmet) or a semi-cover type helmet (Semi-Cover Type Helmet). The reflector 270 may be roughly C-shaped, and may be attached to the inner edge of the helmet body 280. A gap (Gap) 285 may be formed between the reflector 270 or the helmet body 280 and a user's head HB. In addition, the first metal structure 250 and the second metal structure 260 may also be attached to other parts of the helmet body 280. Figure 2B As shown, the first metal structure 250 and the second metal structure 260 are respectively disposed on different planes, and according to actual measurement results, such a non-coplanar design helps to reduce the mutual interference between the first metal structure 250 and the second metal structure 260. Generally speaking, the wearable device 210 can communicate with the contact lens element 290 through the user's head HB and provide power to the contact lens element 290 at the same time, so that the wearable device 210 can be well integrated with the contact lens element 290. Figure 2A , 2B The remaining features of the communication system 200 are the same as Figure 1 The communication system 100 is similar to that of the present invention, so the two embodiments can achieve similar operating effects.

[0065] Figure 3 A schematic diagram showing a communication system 300 according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown. Figure 3 and Figure 1 Similar. Figure 3In the embodiment of the present invention, a wearable device 310 of the communication system 300 further includes a third metal structure 380 and a signal processing circuit (Signal Processing Circuit) 390. Similarly, the third metal structure 380 may also include a coil or one or more contact electrodes. The first metal structure 150 and the third metal structure 380 are both coupled to a wireless communication circuit 330 of a transceiver circuit 320 of the wearable device 310, wherein the first metal structure 150 and the third metal structure 380 can both be used to communicate with the contact lens element 190. As mentioned above, the first metal structure 250, the second metal structure 160, and the third metal structure 380 can be respectively arranged on different planes. In addition, the signal processing circuit 390 is respectively coupled to the wireless communication circuit 330 and the wireless charging circuit 140 of the transceiver circuit 320. In detail, the wireless communication circuit 330 can generate a first received signal strength indication (RSSI) SD1 for the first metal structure 150, and can generate a second received signal strength indication SD2 for the third metal structure 380. Then, the signal processing circuit 390 can perform a tracking procedure for the contact lens element 190 according to the first received signal strength indication SD1 and the second received signal strength indication SD2. The relevant information of each received signal strength indication can be transmitted between circuits in the form of a potential signal or a current signal. Because the contact lens element 190 is usually set on one eye of the user, the aforementioned positioning procedure will also have the function of eye positioning. In other embodiments, if the wireless communication circuit 330 is coupled to more metal structures at the same time, the accuracy of the aforementioned positioning procedure can be further improved. In some embodiments, the signal processing circuit 390 can also selectively use any one of the first metal structure 150 and the third metal structure 380 according to the first received signal strength indication SD1 and the second received signal strength indication SD2. For example, if the second RSSI SD2 is greater than the first RSSI SD1, the wireless communication circuit 330 can communicate with the contact lens element 190 only through the third metal structure 380, wherein the first metal structure 150 can be disabled and the third metal structure 380 can be enabled. Figure 3 The remaining features of the communication system 300 are the same as Figure 1 The communication system 100 is similar to that of the present invention, so the two embodiments can achieve similar operating effects.

[0066] Figure 4 A schematic diagram showing a communication system 400 according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown. Figure 4 and Figure 1Similar. Figure 4 In the embodiment of the present invention, a wearable device 410 of the communication system 400 further includes a third metal structure 480 and a signal processing circuit 490. The second metal structure 160 and the third metal structure 480 are both coupled to a wireless charging circuit 440 of a transceiver circuit 420 of the wearable device 410, wherein the second metal structure 160 and the third metal structure 480 can be used to provide power to the contact lens element 190. In addition, the signal processing circuit 490 is respectively coupled to the wireless communication circuit 130 and the wireless charging circuit 440 of the transceiver circuit 420. In detail, the wireless charging circuit 440 can generate a first power supply efficiency SE1 for the second metal structure 160, and can generate a second power supply efficiency SE2 for the third metal structure 480. Then, the signal processing circuit 490 can perform a positioning procedure for the contact lens element 190 according to the first power supply efficiency SE1 and the second power supply efficiency SE2. The information related to each of the power supply efficiencies mentioned above can be transmitted between circuits in the form of a potential signal or a current signal. In other embodiments, if the wireless charging circuit 440 is coupled to more metal structures at the same time, the accuracy of the aforementioned positioning procedure can be further improved. In some embodiments, the signal processing circuit 490 can also selectively use any one of the second metal structure 160 and the third metal structure 480 according to the first power supply efficiency SE1 and the second power supply efficiency SE2. For example, if the first power supply efficiency SE1 is higher than the second power supply efficiency SE2, the wireless charging circuit 440 can only provide power to the contact lens element 190 through the second metal structure 160, wherein the second metal structure 160 can be enabled and the third metal structure 480 can be disabled. Figure 4 The remaining features of the communication system 400 are the same as Figure 1 The communication system 100 is similar to that of the present invention, so the two embodiments can achieve similar operating effects.
