Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The invention relates to a manufacturing device and a manufacturing method for an all-solid-state battery monomer. Background Art
[0002] The establishment of a three-pole monomer for an all-solid-state lithium-ion battery is a topic for practical application. As an all-solid-state three-electrode monomer with a reference electrode, for example, there is a structure described in Japanese Patent Gazette No. 2022-007408. The monomer of the shape used in the prior art is a structure in which the electrode conductor part is pre-divided in the horizontal direction, and the solid electrolyte is introduced in two stages during the monomer production, and a reference electrode is configured during this period. In order to ensure the strength to withstand a forming pressure equivalent to 1000MPa, the electrode conductor is a cylindrical shape made of tough raw materials such as zirconium oxide and aluminum oxide. Summary of the invention
[0003] In the above-mentioned prior art, since the powder is subjected to a pressure equivalent to a maximum of 1000 MPa from the inside during powder compaction, there is a possibility that deviation occurs between the divided electrode guides, causing leakage of the powder or uneven application of pressure.
[0004] In addition, once the powder is pressed, the cross section of the internal sample cannot be processed, so it is difficult to insert the reference electrode, and after the powder is pressed, it is impossible to confirm whether the reference electrode can maintain the target position without bias, etc. Therefore, the performance of the monomer with the reference electrode added cannot be determined without performing electrochemical measurement, so the rework in the case of failure increases.
[0005] In addition, the electrode guide (zirconia, alumina, etc.) that requires strength is made of opaque materials, so the reference electrode insertion position cannot be visually confirmed. In addition, the X-ray transparency of the electrode guide such as zirconia is low, so the internal state cannot be non-destructively viewed by CT or the like.
[0006] The present invention provides an apparatus and method for manufacturing an all-solid-state battery cell, which can easily confirm the operation during powder pressing during cell manufacturing.
[0007] The first scheme of the present invention is a manufacturing device for an all-solid-state battery cell using a stamping machine, which has a cylindrical electrode guide that covers a sample, and at least a portion of the circumference of the electrode guide is a split body that is separate from the remaining part, and the split body can be disassembled and assembled relative to the remaining part before and after stamping.
[0008] According to this structure, by making the split body of the electrode guide detachable before and after stamping, the split body can be installed before stamping to form a cylindrical electrode guide, which functions as an outer wall during stamping, and the split body can be removed after stamping to confirm whether the sample is stacked normally.
[0009] Since the electrode lead has a split structure, even a punched body of a sample that is difficult to peel off due to being fixed can be easily taken out.
[0010] By inserting a reference electrode into the stamping body from the open portion when the split body is removed, it is possible to measure whether the electricity is connected, which can shorten the manufacturing time, and the split body can be installed again for stamping. In addition, it is a structure that makes it easy to add additional samples even when the stamping pressure is changed and multiple stampings are performed.
[0011] A second aspect of the present invention is the all-solid-state battery cell manufacturing apparatus of the first aspect, wherein the joining portion between the split body and the remaining portion may be a concave-convex fitting portion having concave-convex fittings that fit each other.
[0012] According to this configuration, since the joint portion between the split body and the remaining portion is a concave-convex fitting portion, the split body is unlikely to peel off, and the sample can be punched out while suppressing positional deviation of the split body.
[0013] For example, in the case of a split electrode guide (made of zirconia), displacement may occur if the outer periphery is not positioned. However, by providing a concave-convex fitting portion at the joint, displacement of the split body can be suppressed.
[0014] A third aspect of the present invention is the all-solid-state battery cell manufacturing apparatus of the first aspect, wherein the electrode guide may be divided into a range of the punched body less than half the circumference and capable of taking out a sample.
[0015] According to this configuration, compared with a case where the electrode lead is split in two, the range of the split body can be narrowed to reduce the opening portion of the electrode lead, and the minimum opening portion from which the punched body of the sample can be taken out can be set.
[0016] A fourth aspect of the present invention is the all-solid-state battery cell manufacturing apparatus of the third aspect, wherein the remaining portion of the electrode guide excluding the split body forms an opening having an opening width greater than a diameter of the punched body of the sample.
[0017] According to this configuration, the remaining portion except for the split body has an opening width greater than the diameter of the sample punch body, thereby enabling the sample punch body to be reliably taken out even when a range less than half the circumference is used as a split body.
[0018] A fifth aspect of the present invention is the all-solid-state battery cell manufacturing apparatus according to any one of the first to fourth aspects, wherein the electrode conductor is made of zirconium oxide.
[0019] According to this configuration, the electrode lead is formed of zirconium oxide, which has strength among ceramics. This makes it possible to form an electrode lead that is suppressed from being deformed and can withstand pressure even in a split structure.
[0020] A sixth aspect of the present invention is the all-solid-state battery cell manufacturing apparatus of any one of the first to fifth aspects, wherein the all-solid-state battery cell manufacturing apparatus includes a restricting device for restricting the electrode guide from the outer peripheral side.
[0021] According to this configuration, the electrode lead having a divided structure is restrained by the restraining tool, and the pressing is performed in this state, whereby the internal pressure generated by the pressing can be withstood.
[0022] The seventh scheme of the present invention is a method for manufacturing an all-solid-state battery cell using a stamping machine, which includes: a step of providing a cylindrical electrode guide that covers a sample; a step of providing the electrode guide as a split body that is separated from the remaining portion in at least a portion in the circumferential direction; a step of stamping the all-solid-state battery cell in a plurality of stages; and a step of disassembling the split body relative to the remaining portion during each stamping.
[0023] According to this structure, when punching is performed in multiple stages to form a punched body for pressing lithium or the like, the split body can be detached each time the punching is performed to confirm whether the sample is normally stacked, and a high-quality stacked body can be easily formed.
[0024] The eighth scheme of the present invention may be based on the method for manufacturing an all-solid-state battery cell of the seventh scheme, and may be a method for manufacturing an all-solid-state battery cell comprising the following steps: after introducing a sample into an electrode guide body and pressurizing it to form a temporary shape, inserting a reference electrode into the sample of the temporary shape.
[0025] According to this structure, once pressed, it can be managed as a solid to a certain extent, so by reducing the pressing pressure, a solid electrolyte with a temporary shape that is easy to insert a reference electrode can be formed, thereby facilitating the manufacture of an all-solid-state battery cell.
[0026] A ninth aspect of the present invention may be a method for manufacturing an all-solid-state battery cell according to the seventh or eighth aspect, wherein the method comprises the following steps: covering the sample with a covering member made of a polyimide film on the inner side of the electrode conductor.
[0027] According to this structure, it is possible to prevent other materials from being mixed into the inner side of the electrode lead. The covering member can be formed of a material such as Kapton (registered trademark) which is generally available.
[0028] A tenth aspect of the present invention is the method for manufacturing an all-solid-state battery cell according to the ninth aspect, and may include the step of exposing the punched body by peeling off the polyimide film covering member by cutting.
[0029] According to this structure, the punched body can be easily exposed and checked, and the reference electrode can be easily inserted.
[0030] The eleventh scheme of the present invention can be based on the manufacturing method of the all-solid-state battery cell of the above-mentioned ninth scheme or tenth scheme, and can also be that the manufacturing method of the all-solid-state battery cell includes the following steps: while the split body and the remaining part of the electrode guide are restricted from the outer peripheral side, the sample introduced into the covering member is punched in the axial direction.
[0031] According to this configuration, the sample in the covering member is pressed while the divided electrode lead is restrained, so that the sample can be pressed while withstanding the internal pressure generated by the pressing.
[0032] According to the aspects of the present invention, it is possible to provide an apparatus and method for manufacturing an all-solid-state battery cell, which can easily confirm the operation during powder pressing during cell manufacturing. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0047] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0048] Reference Figure 4 , Figures 5A to 5C In the manufacturing device 1 and manufacturing method of the all-solid-state battery cell 23 in the present embodiment, the electrode guide 11 when manufacturing the all-solid-state battery cell (basic evaluation cell) 23 is made into a split shape in the vertical direction, so that the electrode guide 11 can be removed even after the pellet is made, and the pellet cross section can be exposed, so that the reference electrode 22 can be inserted. In addition, by inserting a Kapton (KAPTON, registered trademark) tube between the collector block 3 and the long axis 9 and the short axis 5 of the collector block 7 of the manufacturing device 1 and the electrode guide 11, the structure can be maintained even if the zirconia tube (electrode guide 11) is removed after the pellet is made, the internal state can be visually observed, and the insertable position of the reference electrode 22 can be confirmed.
[0049] Furthermore, by inserting the polyimide tube between major axis 9 and minor axis 5 of the current collecting lead punched from the base evaluation unit 23 and the electrode lead 11 , the zirconia tube can be moved up and down, thereby aligning the insertable position of the reference electrode 22 .
[0050] Furthermore, by making the electrode conductor 11 of the basic evaluation unit 23 into a split shape and restraining it with the restraining tool 18 , it is possible to achieve a strength capable of withstanding a pressure equivalent to 1000 MPa.
[0051] Furthermore, the electrode guide 11 which is opaque to X-rays can be removed without handling the current collector blocks 3 and 7, thereby enabling non-destructive radiometric measurement, in situ measurement at each manufacturing stage, and the like.
[0052] Hereinafter, a manufacturing apparatus 1 and a manufacturing method of the all-solid-state battery cell 23 will be described.
[0053] like Figure 4 As shown, the manufacturing device 1 includes a first jig (short-axis collector block 3) fixed to a movable die of a press machine and a second jig (long-axis collector block 7) fixed to a fixed die of the press machine. Figure 4 In the figure, the movable die is arranged at the upper part, and the fixed die is arranged at the lower part, and the up and down direction in the figure becomes the stamping direction.
[0054] Refer to Figure 5A The stub current collector block 3 includes a cylindrical first protrusion (stub protrusion 5) inserted from one axial end into the cylindrical cover 16. The stub current collector block 3 is formed by substantially protruding the stub protrusion 5 downward from the horizontal base 4.
[0055] The long-axis current collector block 7 includes a cylindrical second protrusion (long-axis protrusion 9) inserted from the other axial end into the cylindrical cover 16. The long-axis current collector block 7 is formed by substantially protruding the long-axis protrusion 9 upward from the horizontal base 8.
[0056] The short-axis projection 5 is shorter in the punching direction than the long-axis projection 9. The front end surface of the short-axis projection 5 and the front end surface of the long-axis projection 9 face each other in the punching direction in the covering member 16.
[0057] The covering member 16 is a cylindrical member with the axial direction facing the punching direction. The covering member 16 is detachably arranged on the inner peripheral side of the electrode guide 11 to cover the sample 21. The covering member 16 is formed by winding a generally circulated polyimide film such as Kapton (registered trademark) into a cylindrical shape. The covering member 16 has an inner peripheral surface that matches the outer peripheral surface of the long-axis protrusion 9 and the short-axis protrusion 5.
[0058] The electrode conductor 11 is a cylindrical member arranged on the outer peripheral side of the covering member 16 to cover the covering member 16 and to withstand the internal pressure generated by pressing the sample 21. The electrode conductor 11 is a cylindrical member arranged coaxially with the covering member 16 and has a thicker wall thickness than the covering member 16. The electrode conductor 11 has an inner peripheral surface that matches the outer peripheral surface of the covering member 16 into which the major axis protrusion 9 and the minor axis protrusion 5 are inserted. For example, the electrode conductor 11 is formed of zirconia to ensure strength.
[0059] When electrode conductor 11 is formed of zirconia, electrode conductor 11 alone can ensure strength to withstand the internal pressure generated by stamping. However, when a restricting device 18 is provided to restrict electrode conductor 11, electrode conductor 11 can be formed of a material having lower strength than zirconia (MACOR (registered trademark), alumina, etc.).
[0060] For example, the electrode conductor 11 is divided into a pair of halves 12 and 13 along the axial direction. The electrode conductor 11 is attached to an object such as the covering member 16 so as to be sandwiched by the pair of halves 12 and 13 from the radial direction.
[0061] exist Figure 5A In the embodiment, the joint portion of a pair of split bodies 12 and 13 makes the planes along the radial direction abut against each other.
[0062] In contrast, for example Figure 5B As shown, the joint of the pair of split bodies 12 and 13 may also be a concave-convex fitting portion 115 having concave-convex portions. In this case, the split bodies 12 and 13 are unlikely to be offset from each other, and the split bodies 12 and 13 are unlikely to be peeled off from each other, so that the sample 21 can be well punched. By using the strong electrode guide 11, when the sample 21 is pressurized, the sample 21 and the covering member 16 can be prevented from expanding toward the outer peripheral side, and a punched body with a uniform diameter can be formed.
[0063] One of the pair of half bodies 12 and 13 may be regarded as a split body separated from the other. In this case, the split body is formed in the range of 1 / 2 of the circumference of electrode conductor 11 .
[0064] In contrast, for example Figure 5C As shown, about 1 / 4 of the circumference of electrode conductor 11 may be provided as split body 113, which is detachable from remaining portion 112. In this case, the range of split body 113 may be the minimum range from which the punched body of sample 21 can be taken out.
[0065] In the embodiment, the size of the segment 113 (the size of the opening of the electrode conductor 11) is based on the circumference of the outer peripheral surface of the electrode conductor 11. "Using the segment 113 to occupy about 1 / 4 of the circumference of the electrode conductor 11" means that: Figure 5C Under the cross-sectional observation, the split body 113 is cut out with the straight line extending from the two ends t1 of the arc of 1 / 4 of the outer circumference of the electrode conductor 11 to the two ends t2 of the arc of 1 / 2 of the inner circumference of the electrode conductor 11 (or the tangent extending to the inner circumference) as the split line. At this time, the remaining part 112 except the split body 113 forms an open part with an opening width h1 greater than the diameter of the inner circumference of the electrode conductor 11 (greater than the diameter of the cylindrical stamping body formed in the electrode conductor 11). Therefore, even if the range of the circumference of the electrode conductor 11 less than half of the circumference is made into the split body 113, the stamping body of the sample 21 can be taken out.
[0066] That is, electrode guide 11 is a split body having at least a portion in the circumferential direction separated from the remaining portion, and the split body is attached to and detached from the remaining portion before and after punching, thereby forming an open portion of the punched body from which sample 21 can be taken out.
[0067] In the embodiment, an example of using a range of 1 / 2 or 1 / 4 of the electrode conductor 11 as a split body is shown, but it is not limited to this structure. For example, the split body can also be miniaturized to about 1 / 8 of the electrode conductor 11 (however, it can withstand the internal pressure of the stamping). In this case, the open portion of the remaining part 112 also ensures an opening width h1 that is greater than the diameter of the inner circumference of the electrode conductor 11. Moreover, it is not limited to a structure in which the electrode conductor 11 is divided into two parts in the circumferential direction, and it can also be a structure in which it is divided into three or more parts in the circumferential direction. In this case, as long as the circumference of the inner circumference of each split body is less than 1 / 2 of the electrode conductor 11, the stamping body of the sample 21 can be taken out.
[0068] First, the overall flow of manufacturing the all-solid-state battery cell (basic evaluation cell) 23 will be described.
[0069] Figure 1 The figure shows a state in which a powdered sample 21 (SE (solid electrolyte)) is sandwiched between the short-axis protrusion 5 and the long-axis protrusion 9, the short-axis protrusion 5, the long-axis protrusion 9 and the periphery of the sample 21 are covered by a covering member 16, and the periphery of the covering member 16 is covered by an electrode conductor 11. In this state, a load of a human power level is applied to the short-axis collector block 3 and the long-axis collector block 7 in the punching direction without using a punching machine, and the sample 21 is pressed to a degree that solidifies into a temporary shape.
[0070] Then, if Figure 2As shown, the electrode guide 11 is removed, and the position of the sample 21 covered in the translucent covering member 16 is visually confirmed. Then, a cutter or the like is used to cut a notch at the position of the sample 21 covered in the covering member 16, and the reference electrode 22 is inserted in the radial direction. The sample 21 is in a solidified state under a light load, so the reference electrode 22 is easily inserted. The gap between the electrode guide 11 and the reference electrode 22 is sealed with insulating raw material putty, epoxy resin adhesive, dental cement, etc. By preventing the reference electrode 22 from moving, the occurrence of unexpected potential changes can be suppressed.
[0071] Then, if Figure 3 , Figure 4 As shown, the electrode guide 11 is installed again, and a metal reference device is mounted on the electrode guide 11 and fixed in a cylindrical shape. A through hole 14 for passing the wiring side of the reference electrode 22 is formed on one of the split bodies 13 of the electrode guide 11. In this state, the short-axis collector block 3 and the long-axis collector block 7 are respectively mounted on the movable die and the fixed die of the punching machine, and are punched by the punching machine at a predetermined pressure.
[0072] Next, the production of the all-solid-state battery cell (basic evaluation cell) 23 in the embodiment will be described in more detail.
[0073] In an embodiment, if Figure 6 As shown, the short-axis collector block 3 is placed upside down so that the covering member 16 (polyimide tube) covers the short-axis protrusion 5 from above. A powdered sample 21 (SE powder) is added to the covering member 16 so that the sample 21 is deposited on the front end of the short-axis protrusion 5. Then, the long-axis protrusion 9 of the long-axis collector block 7 is inserted into the covering member 16 from above, and the sample 21 is sandwiched between it and the short-axis protrusion 5. At this time, the outer periphery of the covering member 16 is covered with the electrode conductor 11 in advance. In this state, a load of human power is applied to the short-axis collector block 3 and the long-axis collector block 7, and the sample 21 is pressed to the extent that it solidifies into a temporary shape. The standard of the hardness of the sample 21 at this time is that the powder will not fall even if the long-axis protrusion 9 is pulled out from the covering member 16 and the covering member 16 is turned upside down.
[0074] Then, the electrode guide 11 was removed, and the sample 21 was visually confirmed from the polyimide tube (cover 16) (see Figure 2 ). Then, a cutter or the like is used to cut a notch in the sample 21 portion of the covering member 16, and the reference electrode 22 is inserted in the radial direction. Alternatively, the reference electrode 22 may be arranged on the polyimide tube (covering member 16) before the sample 21 is inserted, and then the sample 21 is inserted. The insertion site may be blocked by a polyimide tape or the like.
[0075] The reference electrode 22 here is assumed to be a structure that is conductive with LTO, LFP, etc. used in general lithium-ion batteries through platinum or Ni wire, but as long as a reference potential can be obtained relative to the electrode and insulation from the reference electrode 22 to the measuring device is ensured, the material and structure are not particularly limited.
[0076] like Figure 7 As shown, at this stage, any one of the short-axis protrusion 5 and the long-axis protrusion 9 is removed, and the positive electrode 21a is arranged on the temporary shape of the sample 21. In the embodiment, the short-axis protrusion 5 is removed. The positive electrode 21a can be either dry or wet, but when the collector foil is arranged, the collector foil is not arranged on the sample 21 side but on the collector block side. In the embodiment, an example in which the positive electrode 21a is arranged on the short-axis protrusion 5 side is shown. When introducing the sample 21 into the coating 16, especially when the sample 21 has a temporary sol-like shape, the sample 21 is made to flow along the coating 16.
[0077] As an effect of the structure so far, first, by removing the electrode guide 11, the position of the sample 21 can be visually confirmed, and the position of the reference electrode 22 can be easily confirmed. In addition, after the reference electrode 22 is inserted, the insertion state can also be visually confirmed. In addition, the polyimide tube is used for the covering member 16, so that even if a cut is made in the cross section of the sample 21, the powder will not fall.
[0078] like Figure 8 As shown, a through hole 14 for inserting a reference electrode 22 is formed on the split body 13 on one side of the electrode conductor 11. After the short-axis protrusion 5 is inserted into the covering member 16 again, the wiring side of the reference electrode 22 is inserted into the through hole 14 of the split body 13 until the split body 13 is brought close to the covering member 16. The split body 12 on the other side contacts the covering member 16 from the opposite side. Thus, the covering member 16 and the short-axis protrusion 5, the long-axis protrusion 9 on the inner side thereof, and the sample 21 are sandwiched by a pair of split bodies 12 and 13. In the case where there is a surplus between the through hole 14 for inserting the reference electrode 22 and the reference electrode 22, an epoxy resin adhesive, dental cement, or the like is used to block the gap. At this time, care should be taken to avoid interference with the reference electrode 22.
[0079] Then, if Fig. 9 As shown, the electrode conductor 11 is fixed in a cylindrical shape by a restricting device 18. In this state, the short-axis collector block 3 and the long-axis collector block 7 are respectively mounted on the movable die and the fixed die of the press machine, and the press machine performs powder compaction and stamping at a predetermined pressure (equivalent to a maximum of 1000 MPa).
[0080] In order to hold the electrode guide 11 at a position where it does not interfere with the reference electrode 22, the electrode guide 11 is fixed using a polyimide tape or the like. A through hole (not shown) for inserting the reference electrode 22 is also formed in the restricting tool 18, and the reference electrode 22 is inserted into the through hole of the restricting tool 18 while restricting the electrode guide 11 while taking care to avoid interference. In this state, powder compaction is performed by a press machine (equivalent to a maximum of 1000 MPa).
[0081] As an effect of the structure so far, first, by removing the electrode guide 11, the state of the reference electrode 22 can be visually confirmed at each stage of the forming. In addition, in addition to removing the electrode guide 11, the polyimide tube cover 16 is used, so that the all-solid-state battery cell (basic evaluation cell) 23 can be analyzed in situ without being exposed to the atmosphere.
[0082] like Fig.10 As shown, after the powder is compacted, the restrictor 18 is temporarily removed, the collector block on the opposite side of the positive electrode 21a is removed, and the negative electrode 21b (Li, etc.) is arranged on the sample 21. When the collector foil is arranged, the collector foil is arranged not on the sample 21 side but on the collector block side. In order to keep the electrode guide 11 at a position where it does not interfere with the reference electrode 22, the electrode guide 11 is fixed using a polyimide tape or the like.
[0083] Then, if Fig.11 As shown, the reference electrode 22 is inserted into the through hole for inserting the reference electrode 22 formed in the limiting device 18, and the electrode guide 11 is limited while avoiding interference. In this state, the pressure is pressed to join the negative electrode 21b with the sample 21. (In the case of Li, it is equivalent to 150MPa. Regardless of the material, the pressure is lower than the previous powder pressing press).
[0084] Then, if Fig.12 As shown, the limiting device 18 and the electrode guide 11 are removed. In order to maintain the limiting pressure (equivalent to 1 to 5 MPa) in the stamping direction of the manufactured all-solid-state battery cell (basic evaluation cell) 23, bolts 19 are used to implement the fastening connection between the collector blocks 3 and 7. The pressure at this time is very low compared to that during molding, so if it can be confirmed that the shape of the sample is maintained, the limiting component and the electrode guide 11 may not be installed. Depending on the situation, only the electrode guide 11 may be installed.
[0085] As an effect of the structure so far, first, by removing the electrode guide 11, the state of the reference electrode 22 can be visually confirmed at each stage of forming. In addition, in addition to removing the electrode guide 11, the polyimide tube cover 16 is used, so that the all-solid-state battery cell (basic evaluation cell) 23 can be analyzed in situ without being exposed to the atmosphere.
[0086] In order to prevent exposure to the atmosphere, after the stamping is completed, the two ends of the covering member 16 are sealed by, for example, fixing them with a heat sealer. Alternatively, after the stamping is completed, the two ends of the covering member 16 are sealed by, for example, bonding them with epoxy resin. These sealing methods may use a heat sealer on one side and an adhesive on the other side. If the covering member 16 has excess length, it may be sealed by winding or twisting without fixing, or by using a tool such as a clamp.
[0087] For example, an information recording portion for recording specific information of the sample 21 may be provided on the outer surface of the covering member 16. In this way, the sample 21 can be identified at the destination of transportation. The paint or ink used for printing and recording on the information recording portion is a paint or ink that allows X-rays to pass through. In this way, the influence on the X-ray inspection of the sample 21 can be suppressed.
[0088] As described above, the structure of the above embodiment relates to a manufacturing device 1 for an all-solid-state battery cell 23 using a punching machine, which includes a cylindrical electrode guide 11 covering a sample 21 and a cylindrical covering member 16 arranged between the electrode guide 11 and the sample 21 and detachable relative to the electrode guide 11.
[0089] According to this structure, the sample 21 is covered by the cylindrical covering member 16 in the electrode conductor 11, so that the sample 21 which is difficult to be peeled off due to the fixed connection can be easily taken out. Since the sample 21 is stored in the covering member 16, the cleaning operation of the electrode conductor 11 is not required, and the next operation can be carried out in the glove box, etc., which can improve the manufacturing efficiency. If the electrode conductor 11 is removed, it can be confirmed whether the sample 21 is normally stacked before and after the stamping.
[0090] In the manufacturing apparatus 1 of the all-solid-state battery cell 23, the covering member 16 is formed of polyimide. Specifically, the covering member 16 is formed of a polyimide film.
[0091] According to this structure, by forming cover 16 from polyimide, the impact on X-ray inspection of the punched body in cover 16 can be suppressed, and the punched body can be removed from electrode lead 11 without being exposed to the atmosphere. Cover 16 can be formed from a generally available material such as Kapton (registered trademark).
[0092] In addition, the structure of the embodiment relates to a manufacturing device 1 for an all-solid-state battery cell 23 using a stamping machine, which has a cylindrical electrode conductor 11 covering a sample 21, and at least a portion of the electrode conductor 11 in the circumferential direction (one of the two halves 12 and 13, the split body 113) is a split body separated from the remaining portion (the other of the two halves 12 and 13, the remaining portion 112), and the split body can be disassembled and assembled relative to the remaining portion before and after stamping.
[0093] According to this structure, the split body of the electrode conductor 11 can be disassembled before and after stamping, thereby installing the split body before stamping to form a cylindrical electrode conductor 11 so that it can function as an outer wall during stamping, and after stamping, the split body can be removed to confirm whether the sample 21 is stacked normally.
[0094] Since electrode lead 11 has a split structure, even a pressed body of sample 21 which is difficult to be peeled off due to being fixed can be easily taken out.
[0095] By inserting the reference electrode 22 into the stamping body from the open portion when the split body is removed, it is possible to measure whether the electricity is connected, which can shorten the manufacturing time, and the split body can be installed again for stamping. In addition, it becomes a structure that is easy to add the additional sample 21 even when the stamping pressure is changed and multiple stampings are performed.
[0096] In the manufacturing apparatus 1 of the all-solid-state battery cell 23 described above, the joint portion between the split body and the remaining portion may be a concave-convex fitting portion 115 having concave-convex fittings that fit together.
[0097] According to this structure, since the joint between the split body and the remaining part is the concave-convex fitting part 115, the split body is difficult to peel off, and the sample 21 can be punched out while suppressing the positional deviation of the split body. For example, in the case of the split electrode guide 11 (made of zirconia), if the outer periphery is not positioned, deviation may occur, but by having the concave-convex fitting part 115 at the joint, the positional deviation of the split body can be suppressed.
[0098] In the above-described manufacturing apparatus 1 for the all-solid-state battery cell 23 , the electrode guide 11 may include a range smaller than half the circumference in the circumferential direction and a range from which the punched body of the sample 21 can be taken out as the split body 113 .
[0099] At this time, the remaining portion 112 of the electrode conductor 11 excluding the divided body 113 forms an open portion having an opening width h1 that is larger than the diameter of the punched body of the sample 21 .
[0100] According to this structure, compared with the case where the electrode conductor 11 is split, the range of the split body 113 can be narrowed to reduce the opening portion of the electrode conductor 11, and the minimum opening portion that can be taken out of the punched body of the sample 21 can be set. The remaining portion 112 other than the split body 113 has an opening width h1 that is greater than the diameter of the punched body of the sample 21, so that even when the range less than half the circumference in the circumferential direction is used as the split body 113, the punched body of the sample 21 can be reliably taken out.
[0101] In the above-described manufacturing apparatus 1 for the all-solid-state battery cell 23 , the electrode conductor 11 may be formed of zirconium oxide.
[0102] According to this configuration, electrode conductor 11 is formed of zirconium oxide, which has strength among ceramics. This allows electrode conductor 11 to be suppressed from deformation and to withstand pressure even in a split structure.
[0103] The manufacturing apparatus 1 of the all-solid-state battery cell 23 includes a restraining tool 18 for restraining the electrode guide 11 from the outer peripheral side.
[0104] According to this configuration, by restraining the divided electrode lead 11 by the restraining tool 18 and performing the pressing in this state, the internal pressure generated by the pressing can be withstood.
[0105] In addition, the structure of the above-mentioned embodiment relates to a method for manufacturing an all-solid-state battery cell 23 using a stamping machine, wherein a cylindrical electrode guide 11 covering a sample 21 and a cylindrical covering 16 arranged between the electrode guide 11 and the sample 21 and removable relative to the electrode guide 11 are provided, so that the sample 21 flows in along the covering 16.
[0106] According to this configuration, by allowing the sample 21 to flow along the covering material 16 , even if the powder of the sample 21 is in a temporary sol-like shape, the sample 21 can be guided by the covering material 16 , and the sample 21 can be easily introduced into the stacking position.
[0107] In the above-mentioned method for manufacturing the all-solid-state battery cell 23 , after the punching is completed, at least one of the two end portions of the covering member 16 may be fixedly sealed by a heat sealer.
[0108] According to this structure, by fastening and sealing the end of the covering material 16 , the pressed sample 21 can be taken out of the glove box without being exposed to the atmosphere.
[0109] In the above-described method of manufacturing the all-solid-state battery cell 23 , after the punching is completed, at least one of the two end portions of the covering member 16 may be bonded and sealed with an epoxy resin.
[0110] According to this structure, by bonding and sealing the end of the covering material 16 , the pressed sample 21 can be taken out of the glove box without being exposed to the atmosphere.
[0111] In the above-described method of manufacturing the all-solid-state battery cell 23 , specific information of the sample 21 may be recorded on the surface of the cover member 16 .
[0112] According to this configuration, by writing specific information of the sample 21 in the information recording section, it is possible to eliminate assembly errors and to easily identify the sample 21 .
[0113] In the above-described method of manufacturing the all-solid-state battery cell 23 , the specific information is described using a coating material that transmits X-rays.
[0114] According to this configuration, by using a material that transmits X-rays to the information written on the cover 16 , it is possible to prevent the information written on the cover 16 from affecting the X-ray inspection.
[0115] In the manufacturing method of the above-mentioned all-solid-state battery cell 23, a short-axis collector block 3 and a long-axis collector block 7 are respectively fixed to the movable side and the fixed side of the punching machine. The short-axis collector block 3 and the long-axis collector block 7 respectively have a short-axis protrusion 5 and a long-axis protrusion 9 inserted into the interior from the end of the covering 16. The short-axis protrusion 5 is shorter than the long-axis protrusion 9. The short-axis protrusion 5 is inserted into the covering 16 from one end side in advance, and the electrode guide 11 is arranged on the outer periphery of the covering 16. After the sample 21 is introduced into the front end of the short-axis protrusion 5 in the covering 16, the long-axis protrusion 9 is inserted into the covering 16 from the other end side to punch the sample 21.
[0116] According to this configuration, by pressing the sample 21 in the cylindrical covering material 16 , the laminate can be pressed using the covering material 16 .
[0117] In the above-described method of manufacturing the all-solid-state battery cell 23 , the long-axis protrusion 9 is temporarily removed, and after the additional stack (negative electrode 21 b ) is stacked on the pressed sample 21 , the long-axis protrusion 9 is inserted again for pressing.
[0118] According to this structure, it is possible to perform a press suitable for laminating an additional laminated body that is weak in pressure resistance. It is possible to easily introduce the additional laminated body even when performing a plurality of presses with varying pressures.
[0119] In addition, the structure of the above-mentioned embodiment relates to a method for manufacturing an all-solid-state battery cell 23 using a stamping machine, wherein a cylindrical electrode conductor 11 is provided to cover a sample 21, and at least a portion of the circumference of the electrode conductor 11 becomes a split body separated from the remaining portion. The all-solid-state battery cell 23 is stamped in multiple stages, and the split body is disassembled and assembled relative to the remaining portion each time it is stamped.
[0120] According to this structure, when punching is performed in multiple stages to form a punched body for pressing lithium or the like, the split body can be detached each time the punching is performed to confirm whether the sample 21 is normally stacked, and a high-quality stacked body can be easily formed.
[0121] In the above-described method of manufacturing the all-solid-state battery cell 23 , after the sample 21 is introduced into the electrode guide 11 and pressurized to form a temporary shape, the reference electrode 22 is inserted into the sample 21 having the temporary shape.
[0122] According to this structure, once pressed, it can be managed as a solid to a certain extent, so by reducing the pressing pressure, a solid electrolyte with a temporary shape that is easy to insert the reference electrode 22 is formed, thereby facilitating the manufacture of the all-solid-state battery cell 23.
[0123] In the above-described method of manufacturing the all-solid-state battery cell 23 , the sample 21 is covered with the covering member 16 made of a polyimide film on the inner side of the electrode conductor 11 .
[0124] According to this structure, it is possible to prevent other materials from being mixed inside the electrode conductor 11. The covering member 16 can be formed of a material such as Kapton (registered trademark) which is generally available.
[0125] In the above-described method of manufacturing the all-solid-state battery cell 23 , the polyimide film-made covering material 16 is peeled off by cutting to expose the punched body of the sample 21 .
[0126] According to this structure, the punched body of the sample 21 can be easily exposed and checked, and the reference electrode 22 can be easily inserted.
[0127] In the above-described method of manufacturing the all-solid-state battery cell 23 , the sample 21 introduced into the covering member 16 is pressed in the axial direction while the split body 113 and the remaining portion 112 of the electrode guide 11 are restrained from the outer circumference.
[0128] According to this configuration, by pressing the sample 21 in the cover member 16 while restraining the divided electrode lead 11 , the sample 21 can be pressed while withstanding the internal pressure generated by the pressing.
[0129] The configuration of the embodiment described above is an example of the present invention, and various changes can be made without departing from the gist of the present invention, such as replacing the components of the embodiment with well-known components.
