Description

Technical Field

[0001] The invention relates to a data processing device, a chassis and a tray, and in particular to a tray with an operating element hidden inside, and a data processing device and a chassis equipped with the tray. Background Art

[0002] With the rise of big data, machine learning, the Internet of Things, and numerous network platforms, the demand for servers in life is getting higher and higher. Among them, blade servers adopt a modular design, which can accommodate more servers in a certain space and simplify management and wiring. Generally speaking, a tray can be set in the chassis to use the tray to carry the blade server. The front frame of the tray is equipped with a handle, and the handle is pulled out of the tray. However, the handle will take up the setting space of the front frame of the tray, and it is difficult to set more components (for example, E1.S solid-state drives, network cards, etc.), and it is also difficult to increase heat dissipation holes. In addition, in some devices, the blade server must be removed before the tray can be removed. Since the handle can be directly (for example, simultaneously) pulled outward to extract the tray and the blade server on it, it may cause damage to the blade server. Summary of the invention

[0003] The object of the present invention is to provide a data processing device, a chassis and a tray to solve at least one of the above problems.

[0004] According to one embodiment, a data processing device includes a chassis and at least one electronic component. The chassis includes a shell and a tray disposed on the shell. The tray includes a tray body and an operating member pivotally connected to the tray body. The tray body has a storage space. When the operating member is in a closed position, the operating member is locked with the shell, and at least one electronic component can be stored in the storage space. When at least one electronic component is removed from the storage space, the operating member can be rotated from the closed position to an open position located in the storage space and released from the shell, thereby allowing the tray to be removed from the shell.

[0005] According to one embodiment, the chassis includes a shell and a tray. The tray is disposed in the shell. The tray includes a tray body and an operating member pivotally connected to the tray body. The tray body has a receiving space. When the operating member is in a closed position, the operating member is locked with the shell. When the operating member rotates from the closed position to an open position located in the receiving space, the operating member is released from the shell, thereby allowing the tray to be removed from the shell.

[0006] According to one embodiment, the tray is adapted to be disposed in a housing. The tray comprises a tray body and an operating member. The tray body has a receiving space. The operating member is pivotally connected to the tray body. When the operating member is in a closed position, the operating member is locked with the housing. When the operating member is rotated from the closed position to an open position located in the receiving space, the operating member is released from the housing, thereby allowing the tray to be removed from the housing.

[0007] The beneficial effect of the present invention is that, since the operating member is hidden inside the tray, the assembly and disassembly sequence of the electronic components and the tray can be ensured to prevent the electronic components from being damaged due to incorrect operation. In addition, the operating member does not occupy the setting space of the front frame of the tray, so that more components (for example, E1.S solid state hard disk, network card, etc.) can be set on the front frame of the tray, and heat dissipation holes can also be added to improve heat dissipation efficiency. Fig. 9 FIG. 1 is a partial cross-sectional view of an embodiment of forming an operating space S2 between the operating member 162 and the side wall 1600. Fig.10 It is a partial stereoscopic view of an embodiment in which the operating member 162 is located in the open position. Fig.11 is a partial cross-sectional view of an embodiment in which the operating member 162 is located in the open position, Fig.12 Another partial cross-sectional view of an embodiment of the operating member 162 in the open position.

[0051] like Figures 1 to 3 As shown, the data processing device 1 includes a chassis 10 and at least one electronic component 12. The electronic component 12 can be a blade server, a multi-node server, or other electronic devices, depending on the actual application. In addition, the number of electronic components 12 can be determined according to the actual application and is not limited to the embodiment shown in the figure.

[0052] like Figure 2 and Figure 3 As shown, the case 10 includes a housing 14 and a tray 16, and the tray 16 includes a tray body 160 and an operating member 162. The tray 16 is movably disposed in the housing 14. The tray body 160 has a receiving space S1, and the operating member 162 is pivotally connected to the tray body 160, so that the operating member 162 can be in a closed position (such as Figure 2 and Figure 3 ) and an open position (as shown) Fig.10) as shown. In other words, the rotation range of the operating member 162 falls within the projection range of the accommodating space S1 of the tray body 160, that is, the operating member 162 rotates inside the tray body 160. When the tray 16 is disposed in the shell 14, the operating member 162 rotates inside the chassis 10. In the present embodiment, the operating member 162 may be pivotally connected to a side wall 1600 of the tray body 160, but is not limited thereto. In another embodiment, the operating member 162 may also be pivotally connected to an appropriate position inside the tray body 160, as long as the operating member 162 can rotate between a closed position and an open position located in the accommodating space S1. In actual applications, the tray 16 may include two operating members 162, which are pivotally connected to two opposite side walls 1600 or other appropriate positions of the tray 16, but is not limited thereto.

[0053] When the operating member 162 is located Figure 2 In the closed position shown, the operating member 162 is locked with the housing 14, and the electronic component 12 can be accommodated in the accommodating space S1. At this time, the user can place the electronic component 12 into the case 10 or take it out from the case 10. When the electronic component 12 is removed from the accommodating space S1 (such as Figure 2 As shown in FIG. 1 , the operating member 162 can be rotated from the closed position to the open position, so that the operating member 162 and the housing 14 are unlocked. At this time, the user can take the tray 16 out of the housing 14. When the user puts the tray 16 into the housing 14, the user only needs to rotate the operating member 162 from the open position to the closed position to lock the operating member 162 and the housing 14.

[0054] Furthermore, during assembly, the user must first assemble the tray 16 to the housing 14 before assembling the electronic component 12 to the tray 16; during disassembly, the user must first remove the electronic component 12 from the tray 16 before removing the tray 16 from the housing 14. Since the operating member 162 is hidden inside the tray 16, the assembly and disassembly sequence of the electronic component 12 and the tray 16 can be ensured to prevent the electronic component 12 from being damaged due to incorrect operation.

[0055] like Figure 4 and Figure 5As shown, the operating member 162 may have a rotating portion 1620 and a handle portion 1622. The rotating portion 1620 is pivotally connected to the side wall 1600 of the disk body 160, and the handle portion 1622 extends from the rotating portion 1620. In the present embodiment, the handle portion 1622 may extend obliquely from the rotating portion 1620. In another embodiment, the handle portion 1622 may also extend horizontally from the rotating portion 1620, depending on the actual application. In the present embodiment, the rotating portion 1620 may be pivotally connected to the side wall 1600 of the disk body 160 via a rotating shaft 164, and the rotating shaft 164 may be fixed to the side wall 1600 of the disk body 160 via a fixing member 166 (e.g., a screw). Thus, the user can hold the handle portion 1622 to rotate the operating member 162, so that the operating member 162 is opened with the rotating portion 1620 in a closed position (e.g., Figure 2 and Figure 3 ) and the open position (as shown Fig.10 In this embodiment, the tray 16 may further include a first elastic member 168, wherein the first elastic member 168 may be sleeved on the rotating shaft 164, and two ends of the first elastic member 168 are respectively in contact with the operating member 162 and the side wall 1600 of the tray body 160. The first elastic member 168 may be a torsion spring, but is not limited thereto.

[0056] like Figure 4 As shown, the tray 16 may further include a first stopper 170, a second stopper 172 and a second elastic member 174, wherein the first stopper 170 may be disposed on the side wall 1600 of the tray body 160, and the second stopper 172 may be disposed on the operating member 162. In this embodiment, the second stopper 172 may be pivotally connected to the handle portion 1622 of the operating member 162 via a rotating shaft 176. The second elastic member 174 may be sleeved on the rotating shaft 176, and two ends of the second elastic member 174 are respectively in contact with the operating member 162 and the second stopper 172. The second elastic member 174 may be a torsion spring, but is not limited thereto.

[0057] like Figure 2 and Figure 3 As shown, when the operating member 162 is in the closed position, the second limiting member 172 is locked with the first limiting member 170 to limit the rotation of the operating member 162. Figure 4 As shown in FIG. 1 , the first stopper 170 may have a slot 1700. Therefore, the second stopper 172 may engage with the slot 1700 of the first stopper 170 to limit the rotation of the operating member 162. In this embodiment, the side wall 1600 of the disk body 160 may have a groove 1602. When the operating member 162 is in the closed position, the operating member 162 may be accommodated in the groove 1602 to prevent the operating member 162 from rotating. Figure 1 The electronic component 12 shown generates interference.

[0058] like Figures 5 to 7As shown, the housing 14 may have a first engaging portion 140, and the operating member 162 may have a second engaging portion 1624. In this embodiment, the housing 14 and the operating member 162 may have two first engaging portions 140 and two second engaging portions 1624 corresponding to each other, but the present invention is not limited thereto. Figure 2 When in the closed position shown, the second engaging portion 1624 engages with the first engaging portion 140 (eg, Figure 5 and Figure 6 As shown), the operating member 162 is locked with the housing 14. Thus, the tray 16 can be locked in the housing 14.

[0059] When the user wants to take the tray 16 out of the housing 14, the user can press the second stopper 172. When the second stopper 172 is pressed, the second stopper 172 rotates and disengages from the slot 1700 of the first stopper 170, so that the operating member 162 can rotate from the closed position to the open position. Figure 2 In the closed position shown, Figure 4 The first elastic member 168 is shown in a compressed state. Figure 8 and Fig. 9 As shown, when the second stopper 172 is unlocked from the first stopper 170, the first elastic member 168 (as shown in FIG. Figure 4 As shown in FIG. 1 , the operating member 162 is driven to rotate toward the open position, so as to form an operating space S2 between the operating member 162 and the side wall 1600 of the tray body 160. At this time, the user can insert a finger into the operating space S2 to hold the handle 1622 of the operating member 162. Then, the user can rotate the operating member 162 toward the open position. Fig.10 and Fig.11 As shown, when the operating member 162 is located at the open position, the second engaging portion 1624 is disengaged from the first engaging portion 140 , so that the operating member 162 is unlocked from the housing 14 . Thus, the tray 16 can be taken out from the housing 14 .

[0060] like Figure 5 and Figure 6 As shown, the housing 14 may have a first linkage portion 142, and the operating member 162 may have a second linkage portion 1626. In this embodiment, the housing 14 and the operating member 162 may have two first linkage portions 142 and two second linkage portions 1626 corresponding to each other, but the present invention is not limited thereto. Fig. 9 and Fig.12 As shown, when the operating member 162 rotates toward the open position, the second linkage portion 1626 pushes against the first linkage portion 142 to drive the tray 160 to move toward the outside of the housing 14. Then, the user can pull the operating member 162 to take the tray 16 out of the housing 14.

[0061] In addition, the user can place the tray 16 into the housing 14, such as Fig.11 Then, the user can rotate the operating member 162 toward the closed position. Fig.11 and Figure 7 As shown, when the operating member 162 rotates toward the closed position, the second engaging portion 1624 will push against the first engaging portion 140 and drive the disk body 160 to move toward the inside of the shell 14. At the same time, the second engaging portion 1624 will engage with the first engaging portion 140, so that the operating member 162 is locked with the shell 14. In this embodiment, the first limiting member 170 may further have a guiding slope 1702. When the operating member 162 rotates from the open position to the closed position, the guiding slope 1702 can guide the second limiting member 172 to engage with the slot 1700 of the first limiting member 170. Further, when the operating member 162 rotates from the open position to the closed position, the guiding slope 1702 will push against the second limiting member 172, so that the second limiting member 172 rotates toward the direction of the operating member 162. After the second limiting member 172 is aligned with the slot 1700, the second elastic member 174 (as shown in Figure 4 As shown in the figure, the second limiting member 172 will be reset toward the first limiting member 170 so that the second limiting member 172 is engaged with the slot 1700 of the first limiting member 170.

[0062] See also Fig.13 and Fig.14 , Fig.13 is a three-dimensional diagram of a first limiting member 170' and a second limiting member 172' according to another embodiment of the present invention. Fig.14 FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an embodiment in which the operating member 162 is located in a closed position.

[0063] like Fig.13 and Fig.14 As shown, in another embodiment, the first stopper 170' can be a stud, and the second stopper 172' can be a hand screw. The user can rotate the second stopper 172' to lock the first stopper 170' and the second stopper 172', so that the operating member 162 is locked in place. Fig.14 In addition, the user can rotate the second stopper 172' to release the first stopper 170' and the second stopper 172', so that the operating member 162 can be rotated to Fig.13 Shown in open position.

[0064] See also Fig.15 and Fig.16 , Fig.15 is a three-dimensional diagram of a first stopper 170 ″ and a second stopper 172 ″ according to another embodiment of the present invention. Fig.16 FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an embodiment in which the operating member 162 is located in a closed position.

[0065] like Fig.15 and Fig.16 As shown, in another embodiment, one of the first stopper 170" and the second stopper 172" may be a magnet, and the other of the first stopper 170" and the second stopper 172" may be a magnet or a magnetic conductive material (e.g., metal). The first stopper 170" and the second stopper 172" may be magnetically attracted to each other, so that the operating member 162 is locked in place. Fig.16 In addition, the user can pull the operating member 162 to overcome the magnetic attraction between the first limiting member 170" and the second limiting member 172", so that the operating member 162 can be rotated to Fig.15 Shown in open position.

[0066] In summary, since the operating element is hidden inside the tray, the assembly and disassembly sequence of the electronic components and the tray can be ensured to prevent the electronic components from being damaged due to incorrect operation. In addition, the operating element does not occupy the setting space of the front frame of the tray, so that more components (such as E1.S solid state drives, network cards, etc.) can be set on the front frame of the tray, and heat dissipation holes can also be added to improve heat dissipation efficiency.

[0067] The above description is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention. All equivalent changes and modifications made according to the claims of the present invention should fall within the scope of the present invention.

The tray as described in claim 20 further comprises a first limit member and a second limit member, the first limit member is arranged on a side wall of the tray body, and the second limit member is arranged on the operating member; when the operating member is in the closed position, the second limit member is locked with the first limit member to limit the rotation of the operating member.

23. The tray as described in claim 22 further includes a first elastic member, the two ends of which are respectively in contact with the operating member and the side wall of the tray body; when the second limiting member and the first limiting member are released, the first elastic member drives the operating member to rotate toward the open position to form an operating space between the operating member and the side wall.

24. A tray as described in claim 22, wherein the second limiting member is pivotally connected to the operating member, the first limiting member has a slot, and the second limiting member engages with the slot to limit the rotation of the operating member; when the second limiting member is pressed, the second limiting member rotates and disengages from the slot, so that the operating member can rotate from the closed position to the open position.

25. A tray as described in claim 24, wherein the tray further includes a second elastic member, two ends of the second elastic member are respectively abutted against the operating member and the second limiting member, and the first limiting member also has a guiding slope; when the operating member rotates from the open position to the closed position, the guiding slope guides the second limiting member to engage with the slot.

26. The tray as claimed in claim 20, wherein the tray body has a groove; when the operating member is located at the closed position, the operating member is accommodated in the groove.
