AI Technical Summary
In the existing connectors, due to the deviation of the shape and protruding size of the wire ribs within the tolerance range, the deformation amount of the wire ribs on both sides is deviated, and the positional relationship in the protruding direction of the wire ribs of the two components is not fixed.
A connector is designed, wherein the first component and the second component are assembled by opposing inner wall surfaces and facing outer wall surfaces. Only wire ribs are provided on either of the two sets of opposite wall surfaces. The wire ribs are flattened and deformed in the assembled state, thereby fixing the positional relationship between the two components.
With this structure, the inner wall surface and the outer wall surface directly abut on the opposite wall surface where the wire ribs are not arranged, ensuring that the positional relationship between the first member and the second member is fixed, and avoiding the problem of positional irregularities caused by the wire rib deviation.

[0004] Patent Document 1: Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2011-18538 Summary of the invention Problems to be solved by the invention
[0005] The ribs of Patent Document 1 are arranged on two opposing sides. The deformation amount of both linear ribs is determined by the shape and protruding size of the linear ribs. However, since the shape and protruding size of the linear ribs have deviations within the tolerance range, the deformation amount of both linear ribs also inevitably has deviations. Therefore, the positional relationship of the two components in the protruding direction of the linear ribs is not fixed. The connector of the present invention has been completed based on the above-mentioned circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to fix the positional relationship between a first member and a second member that are assembled to each other. Solutions to Solve Problems
[0006] The connector of the present invention comprises a first component and a second component. The first component has a pair of inner wall surfaces arranged in an opposing manner, The second component has a pair of outer wall surfaces arranged in a back-to-back manner, and is assembled to the first component in a state where the pair of outer wall surfaces are opposed to the pair of inner wall surfaces. The pair of inner wall surfaces and the pair of outer wall surfaces constitute two sets of opposing wall surfaces, with a combination of one inner wall surface and one outer wall surface facing each other being a set. A linear rib is provided on only one of the two sets of the opposing wall surfaces, and the linear rib is crushed and deformed in the assembled state of the first member and the second member. [0009] [Description of Embodiments of the Invention] First, embodiments of the present invention will be described by way of examples. The connector of the present invention, (1) having a first component and a second component, The first component has a pair of inner wall surfaces arranged in an opposing manner, The second component has a pair of outer wall surfaces arranged in a back-to-back manner, and is assembled to the first component in a state where the pair of outer wall surfaces are opposed to the pair of inner wall surfaces. According to the structure of the present invention, when the first member and the second member are assembled, the inner wall surface and the outer wall surface directly contact each other on the opposing wall surfaces where no linear ribs are arranged, thereby fixing the positional relationship between the first member and the second member.
[0010] (2) In (1), preferably, the first component has two pairs of inner wall surfaces that are orthogonal to each other, the second component has two pairs of outer wall surfaces that are orthogonal to each other, and the linear ribs are arranged only on two sets of the opposing wall surfaces that are orthogonal to each other among the two pairs of the opposing wall surfaces. According to this structure, the positional relationship of the two components can be kept fixed in the orthogonal two-dimensional directions.
[0011] (3) In (1) or (2), preferably, the first component and the second component are assembled parallel to the length direction of the linear rib, the first component has a plurality of the linear ribs, and the positions of the front ends of the plurality of the linear ribs in the assembly direction are different among the plurality of the linear ribs. According to this structure, during the process of assembling the first component and the second component, the mating resistance caused by the flattening deformation of the linear ribs is maximum when the flattening deformation of the linear ribs begins. By making the formation ranges of the plurality of linear ribs in the assembly direction different, the peak value of the mating resistance can be reduced.
[0012] [Details of Embodiments of the Invention] [Example 1] Reference Figures 1 to 11 The connector of the first embodiment of the present invention is described. The present invention is not limited to these examples, but is shown by the claims, and includes all modifications within the meaning and scope equivalent to the claims. In the first embodiment, with respect to the front and rear directions, Figure 5 , Figure 6 , Fig.10 , Fig.12 , Figure 14 to Figure 16 The positive direction of the X-axis in is defined as the front. Regarding the left and right directions, Figure 7 to Figure 11 The positive direction of the Y axis in is defined as the left direction. The left-right direction and the width direction are used synonymously. Figures 5 to 9 , Figures 11 to 16The positive direction of the Z axis in is defined as the upward direction. In addition, the surface side of the female housing 50 facing the male housing 20 at the start of mating is the front side.
[0013] 1. Connector structure exist Figure 1 The connector 10 of this embodiment 1 is shown in FIG. Figure 2 As shown, the connector 10 includes a male housing 2, a male terminal part 30, a male terminal holding portion 40, a female housing 50, a female terminal part 60, a female terminal holding portion 70, a movable plate 80, and a lever 90. The male housing 20 and the female housing 50 are engaged by the rotation operation of the lever 90. By the engagement of the male housing 20 and the female housing 50, the male terminal part 30 and the female terminal part 60 are connected.
[0014] The male housing 20 corresponds to the "first component" of the present invention. The male housing 20 is a single component made of synthetic resin. The male housing 20 has a cover 21. Figure 3 As shown, the cover portion 21 is a square cylinder having four inner wall surfaces (upper inner wall surface 21A, lower inner wall surface 21B, left inner wall surface 21C, and right inner wall surface 21D). A pair of inner wall surfaces (upper inner wall surface 21A, lower inner wall surface 21B) are arranged in an opposing manner. A pair of inner wall surfaces (left inner wall surface 21C, right inner wall surface 21D) are arranged in an opposing manner. The male housing 20 is assembled with the male terminal part 30 via the male terminal holding portion 40. The rod 90 is rotatably assembled to the male housing 20. The rotating shaft 22 provided on the outer surface of the male housing 20 is engaged with the bearing hole 93 of the rod 90.
[0015] The male terminal holding portion 40 is made of synthetic resin. The male terminal holding portion 40 is housed in the male housing 20. A plurality of cavities 41 are provided in the male terminal holding portion 40. The male terminal parts 30 are housed in the cavities 41. The cavities 41 are arranged in multiple layers in the vertical direction in the male terminal holding portion 40, and in multiple rows in the horizontal direction. The male terminal holding portion 40 has a plurality of holding portions 42A to 42E. The holding portions 42A to 42E are plate-shaped and are quadrilateral in plan view, and are stacked in the vertical direction to form a plurality of cavities 41.
[0016] The female housing 50 is a single component made of synthetic resin. The female housing 50 is housed in the cover portion 21 of the male housing 20. The female housing 50 is assembled with the female terminal parts 60 via the female terminal holding portion 70. The female housing 50 is in the shape of a square cylinder. The left and right outer surfaces of the female housing 50 are respectively provided with protrusions 51, and the protrusions 51 are assembled to the acted portion 83 of the moving plate 80.
[0017] The female terminal holding portion 70 is made of synthetic resin. The female terminal holding portion 70 is accommodated in the female housing 50. A plurality of cavities 71 are provided in the female terminal holding portion 70. The female terminal parts 60 are accommodated in the cavities 71. The cavities 71 are arranged in multiple layers in the vertical direction in the female terminal holding portion 70, and are arranged in multiple rows in the horizontal direction. The female terminal holding portion 70 has a plurality of holding portions 72A and 72B. The holding portions 72A and 72B are quadrilaterals when viewed from above, and are stacked in the vertical direction to form a plurality of cavities 71.
[0018] The movable plate 80 is equivalent to the "second component" of the present invention. The movable plate 80 is a single-body component made of synthetic resin. The movable plate 80 is housed in the cover portion 21 of the male housing 20. The movable plate 80 has a plate body portion 81 and a peripheral wall portion 82. The plate body portion 81 is in the shape of a flat plate with the plate thickness direction as the front-to-back direction. The plate body portion 81 is a flat shape that is longer in the left-to-right direction when viewed from the front-to-back direction. The peripheral wall portion 82 protrudes integrally backward from the outer edge of the plate body portion 81. The peripheral wall portion 82 is in the shape of a square tube having four outer wall surfaces (upper outer wall surface 82A, lower outer wall surface 82B, left outer wall surface 82C, and right outer wall surface 82D). A pair of outer wall surfaces (upper outer wall surface 82A, lower outer wall surface 82B) are arranged in a back-to-back manner. A pair of outer wall surfaces (left outer wall surface 82C, right outer wall surface 82D) are arranged in a back-to-back manner. The movable plate 80 is assembled to the male housing 20 in a state where the upper outer wall surface 82A and the lower outer wall surface 82B are opposed to the upper inner wall surface 21A and the lower inner wall surface 21B, respectively, and the left outer wall surface 82C and the right outer wall surface 82D are opposed to the left inner wall surface 21C and the right inner wall surface 21D, respectively. During the connection process between the male terminal fitting 30 and the female terminal fitting 60, the movable plate 80 moves integrally with the female terminal fitting 60 in the cover portion 21.
[0019] The outer surfaces of the left and right sides of the peripheral wall portion 82 are provided with the acted portion 83. Figure 2 In the figure, only the right side of the acted portion 83 is shown. The acted portion 83 is a cylindrical shape protruding from the outer surface of the peripheral wall portion 82. The acted portion 83 is provided with a through hole 84 that penetrates in the front-to-back direction. The through hole 84 is a quadrilateral when viewed from the front-to-back direction. The acted portion 83 is provided with the through hole 84, so that it becomes a bridge shape spanned in the up-down direction. The protrusion 51 of the female housing 50 enters the through hole 84.
[0020] like Figure 4As shown in FIG. 1 , projections 88A to 88D are provided on the outer surface of the peripheral wall portion 82. The projections 88A and 88B are provided on the lower outer wall surface 82B. The projections 88C and 88D are provided on the left outer wall surface 82C. The projections 88A to 88D are elongated protrusions extending in the front-rear direction from a position slightly behind the front end of the peripheral wall portion 82 to a position slightly ahead of the rear end of the peripheral wall portion 82. The projection amount (dimension in the projection direction) of the projections 88A to 88D is, for example, smaller than the projection amount (dimension in the projection direction) of the linear ribs 23A to 23D described later. The projections 88A to 88D suppress the shaking of the male housing 20 and the movable plate 80 by contacting with the inner peripheral surface of the cover portion 21 in the state where the male housing 20 and the movable plate 80 are assembled. The function of the projections 88A to 88D is different from the function of the linear ribs 23A to 23D described later.
[0021] The plate body 81 is provided with the same number of holes 85 as the number of male terminal parts 30. The holes 85 penetrate in the thickness direction of the plate body 81. The movable plate 80 is positioned in a state where the protrusion 31 at the top of the male terminal part 30 penetrates the hole 85. During the mating process of the male housing 20 and the female housing 50, the movable plate 80 moves integrally with the female terminal part 60. Thus, the protrusion 31 of the male terminal part 30 can be positioned with high precision.
[0022] The lever 90 is a single component made of synthetic resin. The lever 90 has an operating portion 91 and a pair of arm portions 92 that are symmetrical in the left and right directions. The operating portion 91 is slender in the left and right directions. The pair of arm portions 92 extend from the left and right ends of the operating portion 91. A bearing hole 93 is provided in the arm portion 92. The bearing hole 93 is engaged with the rotation shaft 22 of the male housing 20. When the operating portion 91 is grasped and an operating force is applied, the lever 90 rotates around the rotation shaft 22 of the male housing 20, and at the rotation start position (refer to Figure 5 ) and the rotation completion position (refer to Fig.12 ) between.
[0023] The arm portion 92 is provided with an arc-shaped groove portion 94 in a predetermined range around the bearing hole 93. The acted portion 83 of the movable plate 80 and the protrusion 51 of the female housing 50 enter the groove portion 94. During the rotation of the rod 90, the acted portion 83 and the protrusion 51 are slidably engaged with the groove portion 94. By making the acted portion 83 and the protrusion 51 slidably engaged with the groove portion 94, the female housing 50 and the movable plate 80 move integrally in the cover portion 21 of the male housing 20. By rotating the rod 90 to the rotation completion position (refer to Fig.12 ), so that the male housing 20 and the female housing 50 are fitted together, and the male terminal parts 30 and the female terminal parts 60 are connected.
[0024] 2. The structure of the linear ribs between the male housing and the moving plate like Figure 3As shown, the cover portion 21 of the male housing 20 is provided with linear ribs 23A to 23D. The linear ribs 23A to 23D are elongated protrusions protruding from the inner wall surface of the cover portion 21 and extending in the front-to-back direction. When viewed from a direction perpendicular to the protruding direction and the front-to-back direction, the linear ribs 23A to 23D are trapezoidal. When viewed in cross-section from the front-to-back direction, the linear ribs 23A to 23D are semicircular. At the front end of the linear ribs 23A to 23D, the area of the cross section perpendicular to the front-to-back direction decreases as it goes to the front. At the rear end of the linear ribs 23A to 23D, the area of the cross section perpendicular to the front-to-back direction decreases as it goes to the back.
[0025] The movable plate 80 is assembled to the male housing 20 in parallel with the longitudinal direction (front-rear direction) of the linear ribs 23A-23D. The linear ribs 23A-23D are flattened between the cover 21 and the movable plate 80 in a plastically or elastically deformed state, thereby preventing the cover 21 and the movable plate 80 from being stuck.
[0026] The linear ribs 23A to 23D are arranged at the same position on the inner wall surface of the cover portion 21 in the front-rear direction. Fig.14 As shown in FIG. 1 , the linear ribs 23A and 23D are located at the same position in the front-rear direction. Therefore, during the mating process of the two housings 20 and 50, the linear ribs 23A to 23D are in the compressed state and the compressed release state at the same timing.
[0027] 2-1. Ribs on the upper and lower opposing walls like Figure 7 As shown, a pair of inner wall surfaces (upper inner wall surface 21A, lower inner wall surface 21B) of the male housing 20 and a pair of outer wall surfaces (upper outer wall surface 82A, lower outer wall surface 82B) of the movable plate 80 constitute two sets of opposing wall surfaces (upper opposing wall surfaces FA, lower opposing wall surfaces FB). Specifically, a set of opposing wall surfaces FA (upper opposing wall surfaces FA) is formed by the combination of an inner wall surface (upper inner wall surface 21A) and an outer wall surface (upper outer wall surface 82A) that are opposite to each other. In addition, a set of opposing wall surfaces FB (lower opposing wall surfaces FB) is formed by the combination of an inner wall surface (lower inner wall surface 21B) and an outer wall surface (lower outer wall surface 82B) that are opposite to each other.
[0028] like Figure 8 As shown, one of the two sets of opposing walls (upper opposing wall FA, lower opposing wall FB) is provided with linear ribs 23A, 23B, and the linear ribs 23A, 23B are flattened and deformed in the assembled state of the male housing 20 and the movable plate 80. The lower inner wall surface 21B in the lower opposing wall FB is provided with linear ribs 23A, 23B. Figure 6 The linear rib 23A is shown in FIG.
[0029] The line ribs 23A and 23B are provided so as to extend forward from the rear end of the lower inner wall surface 21B (the end on the insertion side of the female housing 50) by a predetermined distance (for example, the same distance as the thickness of the cover portion 21). The line ribs 23A and 23B are respectively arranged on the lower inner wall surface 21B slightly outside (left and right) from the center in the left-right direction. The line ribs 23A and 23B are arranged on the lower inner wall surface 21B at left-right symmetrical positions across the center in the left-right direction.
[0030] like Figure 6 , Figure 7 As shown, the opposing wall surfaces (upper opposing wall surface FA) of the two sets of opposing wall surfaces (upper opposing wall surface FA, lower opposing wall surface FB) that are not provided with the linear ribs 23A and 23B abut against each other. That is, the upper outer wall surface 82A of the movable plate 80 abuts against the upper inner wall surface 21A of the male housing 20 without deformation (surface contact). Thus, in the state where the male housing 20 and the movable plate 80 are assembled, the upper outer wall surface 82A directly abuts against the upper inner wall surface 21A that is not provided with the linear ribs 23A and 23B, thereby fixing the positional relationship between the male housing 20 and the movable plate 80 in the vertical direction. In addition, based on the abutting position (abutting surface) of the upper inner wall surface 21A and the upper outer wall surface 82A, the dimensional swing of other components constituting the connector 10 can be performed, thereby suppressing the accumulation of manufacturing tolerances.
[0031] 2-2. Ribs on the left and right opposing walls like Figure 7 As shown, a pair of inner wall surfaces (left inner wall surface 21C, right inner wall surface 21D) of the male housing 20 and a pair of outer wall surfaces (left outer wall surface 82C, right outer wall surface 82D) of the movable plate 80 constitute two sets of opposing wall surfaces (left opposing wall surface FC, right opposing wall surface FD). Specifically, a set of opposing wall surfaces FC (left opposing wall surface FC) is formed by the combination of an inner wall surface (left inner wall surface 21C) and an outer wall surface (left outer wall surface 82C) that are opposite to each other. In addition, a set of opposing wall surfaces FD (right opposing wall surface FD) is formed by the combination of an inner wall surface (right inner wall surface 21D) and an outer wall surface (right outer wall surface 82D) that are opposite to each other.
[0032] like Fig. 9 As shown, one of the two sets of opposing walls (left opposing wall FC and right opposing wall FD) is provided with linear ribs 23C and 23D, and the linear ribs 23C and 23D are flattened and deformed when the male housing 20 and the movable plate 80 are assembled. The linear ribs 23C and 23D are provided on the left inner wall 21C of the left opposing wall FC. Fig.10 The linear rib 23C is shown in FIG.
[0033] The line ribs 23C and 23D are provided so as to extend forward by a predetermined distance (for example, the same length in the front-rear direction as the line ribs 23A and 23B) from the rear end of the left inner wall surface 21C (the end on the insertion side of the female housing 50). The line ribs 23C and 23D are respectively arranged near the upper end and the lower end on the left inner wall surface 21C. The line ribs 23C and 23D are arranged on the left inner wall surface 21C at positions symmetrical in the vertical direction across the center in the vertical direction.
[0034] like Figure 7 , Fig.10 As shown, the opposing wall surface (right opposing wall surface FD) of the two sets of opposing wall surfaces (left opposing wall surface FC, right opposing wall surface FD) that is not provided with the linear ribs 23C and 23D abuts. That is, the right outer wall surface 82D of the movable plate 80 abuts (surface contact) with the right inner wall surface 21D of the male housing 20 without deformation. Thus, when the male housing 20 and the movable plate 80 are assembled, the right outer wall surface 82D directly abuts with the right inner wall surface 21D that is not provided with the linear ribs 23C and 23D, so that the positional relationship of the male housing 20 and the movable plate 80 in the left-right direction can be fixed.
[0035] 2-3. Linear ribs on opposing walls in an orthogonal positional relationship The male housing 20 has two pairs of inner wall surfaces (upper inner wall surface 21A and lower inner wall surface 21B, left inner wall surface 21C and right inner wall surface 21D) that are orthogonal to each other. The movable plate 80 has two pairs of outer wall surfaces (upper outer wall surface 82A and lower outer wall surface 82B, left outer wall surface 82C and right outer wall surface 82D) that are orthogonal to each other.
[0036] The linear ribs 23A to 23D are arranged only on two pairs of opposing wall surfaces (the upper opposing wall surface FA and the lower opposing wall surface FB, the left opposing wall surface FC and the right opposing wall surface FD) that are in a mutually orthogonal positional relationship. As a result, in the vertical direction, the upper opposing wall surface FA (the upper inner wall surface 21A and the upper outer wall surface 82A) abut against each other, and in the left-right direction, the right opposing wall surface FD (the right inner wall surface 21D and the right outer wall surface 82D) abut against each other. Therefore, the positional relationship between the male housing 20 and the movable plate 80 can be kept fixed in the orthogonal two-dimensional directions (the vertical direction and the left-right direction).
[0037] 2-4. Function of wire ribs During the movement of the movable plate 80, before the connection between the male terminal part 30 and the female terminal part 60 is started, the linear ribs 23A to 23D are compressed between the cover 21 and the movable plate 80. The connection start time point of the male terminal part 30 and the female terminal part 60 is the time point when the male terminal part 30 and the female terminal part 60 start to contact. Figure 5 This is the state before the connection between the male terminal fitting 30 and the female terminal fitting 60 is started. Figure 5 yes Figure 7BB cross-sectional view.
[0038] Figure 6 to Figure 11 is with Figure 5 The connector 10 shown is in the same state (a state before the connection of the two terminal fittings 30 and 60 is started). Figure 6 This is a state in which the linear rib 23A is crushed between the cover portion 21 and the moving plate 80 . Figure 8 The linear ribs 23A and 23B are in a compressed state. Fig. 9 The linear ribs 23C and 23D are in a squashed state. Fig.10 This is the state where the linear rib 23C is flattened.
[0039] At the time point when the male terminal part 30 and the female terminal part 60 begin to be connected, the linear ribs 23A~23D are flattened in a plastically deformed or elastically deformed state between the cover part 21 and the movable plate 80, thereby preventing the cover part 21 and the movable plate 80 from being tight, thereby enabling the two terminal parts 30 and 60 to be aligned.
[0040] like Fig.12 As shown, after the connection between the male terminal fitting 30 and the female terminal fitting 60 is started, the line ribs 23A to 23D are released from the collapsed state. Fig.12 1 and 2 are diagrams showing the state in which the two housings 20 and 50 are fitted together. For example, after the male terminal fitting 30 and the female terminal fitting 60 are connected and before the connection is completed, the linear ribs 23A to 23D are released from the collapsed state. Fig.12 The state where the linear rib 23A is released from the crushed state between the cover portion 21 and the movable plate 80 is shown.
[0041] 3. Structure of the linear rib between the female housing and the female terminal holding portion like Fig.11 As shown, the female housing 50 is provided with linear ribs 52A, 52B, and 53A. The female housing 50 corresponds to an example of the "first member" of the present invention. The holding portion 72A of the female terminal holding portion 70 corresponds to an example of the "second member" of the present invention.
[0042] In the retaining portion 72A of the female terminal retaining portion 70, a left convex portion 72Aa and a right convex portion 72Ab are provided on the left and right outer surfaces. The female housing 50 is provided with a left concave portion 52 and a right concave portion 53, and the left convex portion 72Aa and the right convex portion 72Ab are respectively fitted with the left concave portion 52 and the right concave portion 53. A line rib 52A is provided on the lower inner wall surface of the left concave portion 52. A line rib 52B is provided on the left inner wall surface of the left concave portion 52. A line rib 53A is provided on the lower inner wall surface of the right concave portion 53. The line ribs 52A, 52B, and 53A are, for example, the same shape as the above-mentioned line ribs 23A to 23D. The line ribs 52A, 52B, and 53A are flattened and deformed in the assembled state of the female housing 50 and the retaining portion 72A.
[0043] like Fig.11 As shown, the upper inner wall surface of the left recess 52 and the upper inner wall surface of the right recess 53 abut against the left convex portion 72Aa and the right convex portion 72Ab, respectively. Thus, the positional relationship between the female housing 50 and the holding portion 72A in the vertical direction can be fixed.
[0044] like Fig.11 As shown, the right inner wall surface of the right concave portion 53 abuts against the right convex portion 72Ab. Thus, the positional relationship between the female housing 50 and the holding portion 72A in the left-right direction can be fixed.
[0045] In the female housing 50, the holding portion 72B of the female terminal holding portion 70 may be provided with linear ribs similar to the linear ribs 52A, 52B, and 53A for the holding portion 72A. In this case, the holding portion 72B corresponds to an example of the "second member" of the present invention.
[0046] 4. Structure of the wire rib between the male housing and the male terminal holding portion like Fig.13 As shown, the male housing 20 is provided with linear ribs 24A, 24B, and 25A. The male housing 20 corresponds to an example of the "first member" of the present invention. The holding portion 42A of the male terminal holding portion 40 corresponds to an example of the "second member" of the present invention.
[0047] The male housing 20 is provided with a left recess 24 and a right recess 25, and the left and right ends 42Aa and 42Ab of the retaining portion 42A are respectively fitted with the left recess 24 and the right recess 25. A line rib 24A is provided on the lower inner wall surface of the left recess 24. A line rib 24B is provided on the left inner wall surface of the left recess 24. A line rib 25A is provided on the lower inner wall surface of the right recess 25. The line ribs 24A, 24B, and 25A are, for example, the same shape as the above-mentioned line ribs 23A to 23D. The line ribs 24A, 24B, and 25A are flattened and deformed in the assembled state of the male housing 20 and the retaining portion 42A.
[0048] like Fig.13 As shown, the upper inner wall surface of the left recess 24 and the upper inner wall surface of the right recess 25 are in contact with the left and right ends 42Aa and 42Ab of the holding portion 42A, respectively. Thus, the vertical positional relationship between the male housing 20 and the holding portion 42A can be fixed.
[0049] like Fig.13 As shown, the right inner wall surface of the right recessed portion 25 abuts against the right end portion 42Ab of the holding portion 42A. Thus, the positional relationship between the male housing 20 and the holding portion 42A in the left-right direction can be fixed.
[0050] In the male housing 20, the holding portions 42B to 42E of the male terminal holding portion 40 may be provided with linear ribs similar to the linear ribs 24A, 24B, and 25A for the holding portion 42A. In this case, the holding portions 42B to 42E correspond to an example of the "second member" of the present invention.
[0051] 5. Effects of Example 1 In the connector 10 of the first embodiment, the linear ribs 23A and 23B are provided only on one of the two sets of opposing wall surfaces (e.g., the upper opposing wall surface FA and the lower opposing wall surface FB), and the linear ribs 23A and 23B are flattened and deformed in the assembled state of the male housing 20 and the movable plate 80. According to this structure, in the assembled state of the male housing 20 and the movable plate 80, on the opposing wall surface (e.g., the upper opposing wall surface FA) where the linear ribs are not provided, the inner wall surface (e.g., the upper inner wall surface 21A) and the outer wall surface (e.g., the upper outer wall surface 82A) directly abut against each other, thereby making it possible to fix the positional relationship with the male housing 20 and the movable plate 80.
[0052] In the connector 10 of Example 1, the male housing 20 has two pairs of inner wall surfaces (upper inner wall surface 21A and lower inner wall surface 21B, left inner wall surface 21C and right inner wall surface 21D) that are orthogonal to each other. The movable plate 80 has two pairs of outer wall surfaces (upper outer wall surface 82A and lower outer wall surface 82B, left outer wall surface 82C and right outer wall surface 82D) that are orthogonal to each other. The linear ribs 23A to 23D are only arranged on two sets of opposing wall surfaces (lower opposing wall surface FB and left opposing wall surface FC) that are in a mutually orthogonal positional relationship among the two pairs of opposing wall surfaces FA to FD. According to this structure, the positional relationship between the male housing 20 and the movable plate 80 can be kept fixed in the orthogonal two-dimensional directions (upper and lower directions, left and right directions).
[0053] [Example 2] The arrangement of the linear ribs in the connector of the second embodiment is different from that of the first embodiment. The same reference numerals are used for the same structures as those of the first embodiment, and detailed description thereof will be omitted.
[0054] In the connector of the second embodiment, the positions of the front ends of the plurality of line ribs in the assembly direction are different between the plurality of line ribs. Fig.15 As shown, a line rib 223A is provided instead of the line rib 23A of the first embodiment. A portion of the line rib 223A is located at a position overlapping with the line rib 23D in the front-rear direction. In the cover portion 21, the position of the front end 223Aa of the line rib 223A in the assembly direction is located behind the front end 23Da of the line rib 23D in the assembly direction. Here, the assembly direction of the cover portion 21 is the direction toward the side where the movable plate 80 is assembled (the negative direction of the X axis).
[0055] During the assembly of the male housing 20 and the movable plate 80, the mating resistance caused by the flattening deformation of the line ribs 223A, 23B to 23D is the largest when the flattening deformation of the line ribs 223A, 23B to 23D begins. Therefore, by making the formation ranges of the line ribs 223A and the line ribs 23B to 23D in the assembly direction different, the peak value of the mating resistance can be reduced.
[0056] [Other embodiments] The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described in the above description and drawings, but is shown by the claims. The present invention includes all modifications within the meaning and protection scope equivalent to the claims, and also includes the following embodiments.
[0057] In the above-described embodiment, the linear ribs are provided on two sets of the opposing wall surfaces (the lower opposing wall surface FB and the left opposing wall surface FC), but the linear ribs may be provided on only one of the opposing wall surfaces.
[0058] In the above embodiment, the linear ribs are provided on only one of the opposing wall surfaces (the inner wall surface on the first component side), but the linear ribs may be provided on only the other of the opposing wall surfaces (the outer wall surface on the second component side) or on both opposing wall surfaces.
[0059] In the above-mentioned embodiment, the number of linear ribs formed on one first member is not particularly limited, and may be only one or may be two or more.
[0060] In the above-mentioned embodiment, the number of linear ribs provided on the wall surface along the width direction (left-right direction) is not particularly limited, and may be only one or may be three or more.
[0061] In the first embodiment, the linear ribs 23A to 23D are arranged at the same position on the inner wall surface of the cover portion 21 in the front-rear direction. However, some or all of the linear ribs 23A to 23D may be located at different positions in the front-rear direction.
[0062] In the second embodiment, the front end 223Aa of the linear rib 223A in the assembly direction is located behind the front end 23Da of the linear rib 23D in the assembly direction, but may be located in front of the assembly direction.
[0063] In the above-mentioned embodiment 2, a part of the linear rib 223A is located at a position overlapping with the linear rib 23D in the front-rear direction. Fig.16 As shown, the linear rib 323A may also be a structure that does not overlap with the linear rib 23D. The position of the front end 323Aa of the linear rib 323A in the assembly direction is located behind the front end 23Da of the linear rib 23D in the assembly direction. The linear rib 323A is arranged in the front-to-back direction so as not to overlap with the linear rib 23D. Description of Reference Numerals
