[0150] The engaging bolt 199 may be engaged with the welding nut 195 through the lower support 163 , the door operating module 23 , the first door mounting bracket 191 , the upper support 161 , and the second door mounting bracket 193 .

[0151] In the following, reference will be made to Figures 1 to 15 The operation of the side structure 100 according to an exemplary embodiment is described in detail.

[0152] The side outer member 110 and the side inner member 120 are connected to form a roof side portion 129 , and a first closed cross-section 127 is formed on the roof side portion 129 along the front-rear direction of the vehicle body.

[0153] The side inner member 120 and the roof rail support structure 160 are connected to form a second closed cross-section 181 in the front-rear direction of the vehicle body.

[0154] An open mounting portion 175 connected to the door opening portion 41 is formed between the upper support 161 and the lower support 163 of the roof rail supporting structure 160 .

[0155] The first closed cross section 127 and the second closed cross section 181 are provided to be spaced apart in the vehicle width direction with the first connecting portion 133 therebetween, and are connected by the first connecting portion 133 and the second connecting portion 177 .

[0156] The door operating module 23 of the door assembly 20 is mounted inside the open mounting portion 175 below the second closed cross section 181. The door operating module 23 is coupled to the upper support 161, the lower support 163, the first door mounting bracket 191 and the second door mounting bracket 193 by fasteners 197.

[0157] According to the side structure 100 of one exemplary embodiment, the cross-sectional modulus of the vehicle body is increased by the connection shape of the first closed cross-section 127 and the second closed cross-section 181 , and the side strength of the vehicle body may be increased.

[0158] According to the side structure 100 of an exemplary embodiment, the first closed cross section 127 and the second closed cross section 181 connected via the first connection portion 133 and the second connection portion 177 can ensure connection stability of the vehicle body and ensure mounting strength of the double door assembly 20 .

[0159] According to the side structure 100 of an exemplary embodiment, when a collision occurs at the side of the vehicle, the first closed cross-section 127 and the second closed cross-section 181 can easily transmit the collision load in the vehicle width direction.

[0160] Therefore, by forming a load path passing through the first closed cross section 127 and the second closed cross section 181 in the vehicle width direction, the collision load can be effectively distributed, and deformation of the vehicle body can be minimized.

[0161] While embodiments of the present invention have been described in conjunction with what are presently considered to be practical exemplary embodiments, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiments, but rather is intended to cover various modifications and equivalent arrangements included within the spirit and scope of the appended claims.
