Description

Technical Field

[0001] The invention relates to an adjusting device for compensating wear in a clutch so that the clutch can always be actuated by the actuating device on the same actuating path. The invention also relates to a clutch, in particular a dry friction clutch, with such an adjusting device, by means of which a torque flow can be established or interrupted in a drive train of a motor vehicle. The invention also relates to a push element of the adjusting device. Background Art

[0002] From DE 10 2021 122 730.5, an adjusting device for a clutch with an actuation direction is known, which comprises: a pushing element, which can be moved in the actuation direction for disengaging the clutch, wherein the pushing element has a driving bevel and an adjusting bevel (hereinafter also referred to as an adjusting bevel element) in a transverse direction relative to the actuation direction; a driving element, which can be moved in the actuation direction for actuating the adjusting device using a first mating bevel, wherein the first mating bevel has a mating contour that mates with the driving bevel and rests on the driving bevel in the actuation direction using the mating contour; an adjusting element, which The adjusting element is movable in a transverse direction and has a second mating ramp, wherein the second mating ramp has a mating profile opposite to the adjusting ramp and rests on the adjusting ramp in an actuating direction with the mating profile, the adjusting element and the drive element are connected to each other in a transverse direction, and the drive element is mounted on the adjusting element in a manner movable in the actuating direction, wherein the drive ramp and the mating profile mating with the drive ramp are designed to be self-locking, and the adjusting ramp and the mating profile are designed to slide against each other in a transverse direction when a contact force is applied in the actuating direction, and wherein the adjusting element is fixed in the actuating direction.

[0003] In the case of such an adjustment device, the push element must be fixed to the housing in the circumferential direction so that the function of the adjustment device can be realized. For example, this fixing can be done using fixing bolts attached to the housing. However, a certain amount of additional work (e.g., centering bolts and attachment of the centering bolts to the housing) is required to fix the push element in place.

[0004] The fixing of the push element also requires a certain amount of work. For example, a section for contact with the centering bolt must be formed here. This increases the material costs of the component and may require higher manufacturing costs. Another disadvantage is that the chamfer area with the fixing function is different in shape from the other chamfer areas, which may also be problematic for production.

[0005] There is a constant need to make clutches and adjustment devices simpler and more user-friendly while keeping assembly and maintenance costs to a minimum. Summary of the invention

[0006] The object of the present invention is to at least partially solve the problems cited with reference to the prior art and to demonstrate measures which enable a simple and easy-to-operate clutch to be realized with little assembly and maintenance effort.

[0007] This object is achieved by means of an adjusting device having the features of claim 1, a push element having the features of claim 8 and a clutch having the features of claim 9. Advantageous further developments are the subject matter of the dependent claims. The features listed individually in the claims can be combined with one another in a technically meaningful manner and can be supplemented by explanatory facts from the description and / or details from the drawings, in which further embodiment variants of the invention are shown.

[0008] A regulating device for a clutch having an actuation direction is proposed. The regulating device comprises:

[0009] The housing of the regulating device,

[0010] a push element which is movable relative to the housing in an actuation direction for disengaging the clutch, wherein the push element has a drive ramp and an adjustment ramp element in a transverse direction relative to the actuation direction,

[0011] a drive element which is movable relative to the housing in an actuation direction for actuating the adjustment device with a first mating ramp, wherein the first mating ramp has a mating profile which mates with the drive ramp and rests with the mating profile on the drive ramp in the actuation direction,

[0012] an adjusting element which is movable in a transverse direction relative to the housing and has a second mating ramp, wherein the second mating ramp has a mating profile which mates with the adjusting ramp element and can be applied to the adjusting ramp element in an actuation direction with the mating profile, and

[0013] A (first) actuating element which is pivotably mounted on the housing for actuating the clutch, wherein a first end of the (first) actuating element contacts the push element and can be displaced in an actuating direction by the push element.

[0014] The adjusting element and the driving element are connected to each other in the transverse direction (or relative to the transverse direction), and the driving element is mounted on the adjusting element in a manner that it can move in the actuation direction (or relative to the actuation direction). The driving ramp and the matching profile paired with the driving ramp are designed to be self-locking, and the adjusting ramp element and the matching profile are designed to slide against each other in the transverse direction when a contact force is applied in the actuation direction. The adjusting element is fixedly arranged on the housing at least in the actuation direction. The pushing element is fixedly arranged on the housing in the transverse direction via the (first) actuation element.

[0015] The adjustment device proposed here corresponds in particular to the adjustment device according to DE 10 2021122 730.5 mentioned at the beginning, wherein the adjustment ramp described at the beginning corresponds to the adjustment ramp element mentioned here. Compared with the known adjustment devices, a special fixing of the push element relative to the housing is proposed here.

[0016] Conventional clutches have at least two pressure plates (but also, for example, a pressure plate, a counterplate, and a clutch disc arranged to be clamped between the pressure plate and the counterplate), one of the at least two pressure plates (for example the pressure plate and the counterplate) being connected to the input shaft and one pressure plate (for example the clutch disc) being connected to the output shaft, and these pressure plates being frictionally connected to each other via friction elements when the clutch is closed. When the clutch is closed, the distance between the pressure plates is determined by the thickness of the friction elements. In the event of wear of the friction elements, the distance between the pressure plates decreases when the clutch is closed. As a result, with increasing wear, an actuating element of the clutch, such as a release lever or a diaphragm spring tongue, covers a greater distance between the disconnected clutch and the closed clutch. In the absence of an adjustment device on the clutch, this additional distance is also covered by an upstream actuating device, such as a clutch pedal. In order to prevent the actuating device from having to travel this distance, but to always be able to cover the same distance, an adjustment device is arranged between the clutch and the actuating device.

[0017] When the drive element is actuated in the actuation direction on the input side, for example via a clutch pedal, the drive element displaces the push element in the actuation direction via the first mating ramp resting on the drive ramp and then disengages the clutch on the output side, for example on a release lever or a diaphragm spring tongue. The fact that the first mating ramp rests against the drive ramp in a self-locking manner makes it possible to transmit this movement or the associated forces between the first mating ramp and the drive ramp in the actuation direction without the first mating ramp sliding off the drive ramp and subsequently moving in the transverse direction. During the actuation and the associated movement of the push element, the adjustment ramp moves away from the second mating ramp, which is fixed in the actuation direction, i.e. cannot move in the actuation direction.

[0018] When the actuation is released, the clutch is closed again, for example by means of a spring element, and the push element is pushed back until the friction elements of the clutch are in contact with each other again. At the same time, the adjustment ramp or adjustment ramp element and the second matching ramp are in contact with each other again. Once wear occurs on the clutch, a force is generated between the second matching ramp and the adjustment ramp or adjustment ramp element in the actuation direction, because the clutch pushes the push element back a farther distance than before, but the second matching ramp cannot move in the actuation direction. This force causes the second matching ramp to slide along the adjustment ramp or adjustment ramp element and in the transverse direction. Since the adjustment element is connected to the drive element in the transverse direction, the drive element is adjusted in the transverse direction by sliding, so that the first matching ramp also slides on the drive ramp. Therefore, the distance between the push element and the drive element and the distance between the push element and the adjustment element change to the same extent, that is, until there is no longer any force between the push element and the adjustment element. In the case of corresponding inclinations (for example, when the drive ramp and the adjustment ramp or the adjustment ramp element have the same inclination, or when the inclinations of the ramp system have the same ratio), the axial lengths of the push element and the adjustment element in the actuation direction and the axial lengths of the push element and the drive element always have the same fixed difference. In this way, when the clutch is closed, the drive element always remains in the same position in the actuation direction and any extended travel caused by wear is not transmitted to the actuation device.

[0019] In particular, the adjusting device is independent and separate from the actuating device. The adjusting device can then, for example, be mounted directly on the clutch and does not require any further adjustments during the subsequent assembly with the actuating device. The adjusting device can also be combined with a variety of different actuating devices. Another advantage is that the adjusting device is completely self-actuating and maintenance-free. Wear indicators that are required to indicate when maintenance is necessary can also be omitted. Finally, the proposed adjusting device has a smaller number of components, so that a correspondingly smaller number of manufacturing tolerances interact. Therefore, the corresponding tolerances can be selected to be large enough so that the adjusting device can be manufactured in a cost-effective manner. In summary, a simple and easy-to-operate clutch with low installation and maintenance requirements is produced.

[0020] Disengaging the clutch by means of a push element is to be understood as meaning that the push element moves a (first) actuating element of the clutch. Such an actuating element is, for example, a release lever or a diaphragm spring tongue and acts directly or indirectly on at least one pressure plate of the clutch so that the pressure plates move away from each other and the friction contact between the friction elements of the pressure plates is eliminated. For example, the clutch is disengaged to change gear in a downstream transmission or during purely electric driving of a downstream hybrid transmission.

[0021] In the case where the push element has a slope in the transverse direction, this means that the inclination of the slope extends in the transverse direction. The inclination of the mating slope also extends in the transverse direction. Therefore, the sliding of the mating slope on the inclined plane formed between the slope and the mating slope is accompanied by the movement of the mating slope in the transverse direction. At the same time, each slope preferably has a longer slope than its associated mating slope, so that the mating slope can be safely supported on the slope in the transverse direction via the corresponding path. Depending on the available installation space, the corresponding mating slope or one of the mating slopes can also have a longer slope than the associated slope, so that the slope can be safely supported on the mating slope in the transverse direction on the corresponding path. It can also be provided that only one of the surfaces sliding against each other has an inclination, while the other surface can be designed to extend parallel to the transverse direction. The decisive factor is that when one component is displaced relative to the other component in the transverse direction, the corresponding ramp system causes a relative displacement of one component relative to the other component along the actuation direction, and vice versa.

[0022] In particular, the drive element is intended for actuating the adjusting device. This means that the drive element is intended to be engaged by an actuating device. For example, the drive element has an actuating support that is arranged to receive the actuating device. For example, such an actuating device is a push rod that engages with the drive element and is mechanically coupled to a clutch pedal or an automated device for clutch actuation.

[0023] In particular, the push element has at least one contour which forms a positive connection with the (first) actuating element in a transverse direction.

[0024] In particular, the pushing element is a sheet metal part and the at least one contour is produced by shaping the sheet metal part.

[0025] In particular, the push element is in contact with the (first) actuating element (e.g., with the tip of an actuating lever), in particular due to its function in the regulating device. Such an actuating lever is, for example, mounted on the housing via a swivel joint and is therefore able to support lateral forces, for example in the transverse direction or in the circumferential direction of the clutch, on the tip. In this way, a torque can be found to support the rotation of the push element. In particular, it is recommended to design the contact point of the push element with the (first) actuating element (or the contact point of the push element with the tip of the actuating lever) in such a way that rotation is also prevented here.

[0026] In particular, the above-mentioned centering screw and the fixing of the centering screw to the housing can be omitted. In addition, the proposed contour or contact point shape can be realized more easily than the previously known contact points on the bevel segments.

[0027] In particular, there is only a slight friction movement at the contact point of the push element with the (first) actuating element (compared to the contact between the push element and the centering bolt). However, the aforementioned contact of the push element with the centering bolt results in a longer friction movement. Therefore, the proposed solution is expected to result in reduced wear and reduced friction (reduced force hysteresis), which is beneficial for the clutch characteristics. The aforementioned contact between the bevel ring and the centering bolt still has the risk of penetrating into the contact surface (possibly only on one contact surface or not on all contact surfaces). This may lead to critical movement behavior (discontinuity of movement) and therefore to uncomfortable clutch characteristics. The newly proposed solution advantageously avoids this risk.

[0028] In particular, the actuation direction is an axial direction of a cylindrical coordinate system and the transverse direction is a circumferential direction of a cylindrical coordinate system, wherein the push element, the drive element and the adjustment element are formed coaxially, in particular with respect to the axial direction.

[0029] In this way, a compact adjustment device is produced, which can be easily arranged on a clutch, which is usually also of coaxial design. The drive ramp and the adjustment ramp and the mating ramp then each have an inclination along a trajectory following the circumferential direction. The connection between the drive element and the adjustment element can be realized, for example, via a toothing or an axially interlocking projection.

[0030] In particular, the push element has at least one contour which forms a positive connection with the (first) actuating element in a transverse direction, wherein the contour is arranged in a radial direction between the adjustment ramp element and the drive ramp.

[0031] In particular, the push element has two contours which form a positive connection with the (first) actuating element in two circumferential directions.

[0032] In particular, the adjustment device comprises a plurality of (preferably exactly three) (first) actuating elements distributed along the circumferential direction.

[0033] In particular, several ramp elements distributed around the circumference are provided as driving ramps and / or adjusting ramp elements. The mating ramp is then also divided into several parts accordingly. In particular, all ramp elements of the ramp are designed in the same way. This has the advantage that the driving element or adjusting element and the push element are supported uniformly around the circumference.

[0034] In particular, the adjusting device has a housing, wherein the adjusting element is mounted on the housing so as to be movable in the transverse direction and fixed in the actuation direction. The adjusting device is then independent and can function independently. The adjusting device can be used as a single component with a clutch of a variety of different designs. Alternatively, the adjusting device can be fixed to a fixed part of the clutch and can in particular be designed to be integral with the clutch. In any case, the position of the adjusting element is fixed in the actuation direction so as to act as a matching support for the force between the adjusting ramp and the second matching ramp in this direction.

[0035] A push element for the described adjustment device is also proposed, wherein the push element is a sheet metal part and has at least one contour in order to form a positive connection with the (first) actuating element in a transverse direction, wherein the contour is produced by shaping the sheet metal part. In particular, the push element has a drive ramp and an adjustment ramp element in a transverse direction relative to the actuating direction.

[0036] In particular, the push element is designed as a disc-shaped element with an axis of rotation. The push element can be moved in the adjustment device along the actuation direction. The push element is connected to the (first) actuation element of the adjustment device via at least one profile in such a way that the push element is fixed in the transverse direction, i.e. cannot rotate in the transverse direction.

[0037] In particular, the push element has a plurality of drive ramps and adjustment ramp elements along the transverse direction (here the circumferential direction), and these drive ramps and adjustment ramp elements are each distributed at equal intervals. In particular, the drive ramps are arranged on the outer edge of the push element in the radial direction. In particular, the adjustment ramp elements are arranged on the inner edge of the push element in the radial direction. Between the drive ramps and the adjustment ramp elements, the push element is disc-shaped, wherein the profile is arranged in this section. The profile is particularly designed as a protrusion or a raised portion, so that a stop is formed in the transverse direction for the (first) actuating element resting on the push element.

[0038] Furthermore, a clutch is proposed for selectively connecting or disconnecting an input shaft and at least one output shaft, wherein the clutch has the described adjustment device.

[0039] The adjusting device and the clutch can be integrated into a single unit and share a common housing. In this way, the number of components can be reduced so that fewer component tolerances work together. Alternatively, the adjusting device is provided as a separate component and is arranged on the receiving portion of the clutch.

[0040] In particular, the clutch has a plurality of partial clutches for a plurality of output shafts, wherein at least one partial clutch has an adjustment device as described above.

[0041] For example, such a clutch is provided for use in agricultural machinery or construction machinery, wherein the first output shaft is intended for driving the operation of the machinery and is, for example, the input shaft of a drive transmission and the second shaft is a power take-off shaft for a secondary application such as driving a winch or a lifting device. In one embodiment, the first partial clutch, which is only used for the first output shaft, is designed to have or is equipped with an adjustment device, since it is subject to greater wear due to more frequent use, in particular under load. In such an embodiment, in which the adjustment device is formed coaxially in a cylindrical coordinate system, the push element, the adjustment element and / or the drive element can have recesses distributed around the circumference, which are used for the passage of elements of the second partial clutch, so as to produce a particularly compact clutch.

[0042] In particular, the statements regarding the adjusting device also apply to the push element and the clutch, and the statements regarding the push element and the clutch also apply to the adjusting device.

[0054] Figure 1 A clutch 2 known from DE 10 2021 122 730.5 with an adjusting device 1 is shown in a perspective view. Figure 2 The side cross-sectional view shows the Figure 2 The clutch 2 is described below. Figure 1 and Figure 2 .

[0055] With regard to the basic functions of the clutch 2 and the adjusting device 1 , reference is made to DE 10 2021 122 730.5.

[0056] The clutch 2 is suitable for selectively connecting or disconnecting an input shaft 15 and at least one output shaft 16, wherein the clutch 2 has an adjustment device 1. The adjustment device 1 and the clutch 2 are integrated into a single unit and share a common housing 12. The clutch 2 has a first partial clutch 17 and a second partial clutch 18, which is only mentioned. Each partial clutch 17, 18 is assigned to the output shaft 16, wherein only the first partial clutch 17 has the adjustment device 1. The first actuating element 13 is assigned to the first partial clutch 17. The second actuating element 19 is assigned to the second partial clutch 18.

[0057] The adjusting device 1 comprises a push element 4 which is movable in an actuation direction 3 for disengaging the clutch 2 or the first partial clutch 17, wherein the push element 4 has a drive ramp 6 and an adjustment ramp (hereinafter referred to as an adjustment ramp element 7) in a transverse direction 5 relative to the actuation direction 3. In addition, the adjusting device 1 has a drive element 8 which is movable in an actuation direction 3 for actuating the adjusting device 1 with a first mating ramp 9, wherein the first mating ramp 9 has a mating profile which is mating with the drive ramp 6 and rests on the drive ramp 6 with this mating profile in the actuation direction 3. In addition, the adjusting device 1 has an adjusting element 10 which is movable in a transverse direction 5 and has a second mating ramp 11, wherein the second mating ramp 11 has a mating profile which is mating with the adjustment ramp or the adjustment ramp element 7 and with this mating profile the second mating ramp can be applied to the adjustment ramp in the actuation direction 3. The adjusting element 10 and the driving element 8 are connected to each other in the transverse direction 5, and the driving element 8 is mounted on the adjusting element 10 in a manner that allows it to move along the actuating direction 3, wherein the driving ramp 6 and a mating contour paired with the driving ramp 6 are designed to be self-locking, and the adjusting ramp and the mating contour are designed to slide against each other in the transverse direction 5 when a contact force is applied in the actuating direction 3, and wherein the adjusting element 10 is fixed in the actuating direction 3.

[0058] The clutch 2 has a pressure plate 20, a counter plate 21, and a clutch disc 22 arranged to be clamped between the pressure plate and the counter plate, wherein the pressure plate 20 and the counter plate 21 are connected to the input shaft 15, and the clutch disc 22 is connected to the output shaft 16, and the pressure plate and the counter plate and the clutch disc are frictionally connected to each other via friction elements when the clutch 2 is closed. When the clutch 2 is closed, the distance between the pressure plates (pressure plate 20, counter plate 21, clutch disc 22) is determined by the thickness of the friction elements. If the friction elements are worn, the distance between the pressure plates will decrease when the clutch 2 is closed. Therefore, with increasing wear, the first actuating element 13 of the clutch 2, which is shown here as a release lever, will cover a greater distance between the disconnected clutch 2 and the closed clutch. If the adjustment device 1 is not provided on the clutch 2, such additional distance will also be covered by the upstream actuating device, such as a clutch pedal. In order to prevent the actuating device from having to travel this distance, but always being able to cover the same distance, an adjustment device 1 is arranged between the clutch 2 and the actuating device.

[0059] When the drive element 8 is actuated on the input side, for example via the clutch pedal, in the actuation direction 3, the drive element 8 displaces the push element 4 in the actuation direction 3 via the first counter-ramps 9 resting on the drive ramps 6, which then disengage the clutch 2 here on the output side via the first actuation element 13. The fact that the first counter-ramps 9 rest against the drive ramps 6 in a self-locking manner makes it possible to transmit such movement or the associated forces in the actuation direction 3 between the first counter-ramps 9 and the drive ramps 6 without the first counter-ramps 9 being able to slip off the drive ramps 6 and subsequently move in the transverse direction 5. During the actuation and the associated movement of the push element 4, the adjustment ramp or the adjustment ramp element 7 moves away from the second counter-ramps 11, which are fixed in the actuation direction 3, i.e. cannot be moved in the actuation direction.

[0060] If the actuation is released, the clutch 2 is closed again, for example by means of a spring element, and the push element 4 is pushed back until the friction elements of the clutch 2 are in contact with each other again. At the same time, the adjustment ramp or adjustment ramp element 7 and the second mating ramp 11 are in contact with each other again. As soon as wear occurs on the clutch 2, a force is generated between the second mating ramp 11 and the adjustment ramp or adjustment ramp element 7 in the actuation direction 3, because the clutch 2 pushes the push element 4 back a greater distance than before, but the second mating ramp 11 cannot move in the actuation direction 3. This force causes the second mating ramp 11 to slide along the adjustment ramp or adjustment ramp element 7 and in the transverse direction 5. Since the adjustment element 10 is connected to the drive element 8 in the transverse direction 5, the drive element 8 is adjusted in the transverse direction 5 by sliding, so that the first mating ramp 9 also slides on the drive ramp 6. As a result, the distance between the push element 4 and the drive element 8 and the distance between the push element 4 and the adjustment element 10 change to the same extent, i.e. until there is no longer any force between the push element 4 and the adjustment element 10. If the inclinations correspond (for example, when the drive ramp 6 and the adjustment ramp or adjustment ramp element 7 have the same inclination, or when the inclinations of the ramp system have the same ratio), the axial lengths of the push element 4 and the adjustment element 10 in the actuation direction 3 and the axial lengths of the push element 4 and the drive element 8 always have the same fixed difference. In this way, when the clutch 2 is closed, the drive element 8 always remains in the same position in the actuation direction 3 and any extended travel due to wear is not transmitted to the actuation device.

[0061] Disengaging the clutch 2 by means of the push element 4 is understood to mean that the push element 4 moves the first actuating element 13 of the clutch 2. The first actuating element 13 is a release lever and acts directly on the pressure plate 20 of the clutch 2, so that the pressure plate 20 is removed from the counter plate 21 and the clutch disc 22 and the friction contact between the friction elements of the pressure plate is released.

[0062] Figure 3 A further known clutch 2 with an adjustment device 1 is shown in a perspective view. Figure 4 The three-dimensional diagram shows Figure 3 The driving element 4 of the clutch 2 is described below. Figure 3 and Figure 4 . See About Figure 1 and Figure 2 Description.

[0063] In the case of such an adjustment device 1, the push element 4 must be fixed to the housing 12 in the circumferential direction (transverse direction 5) so that the function of the adjustment device 1 can be achieved. This fixation is done using a fixing bolt 23 attached to the housing 12. However, a certain amount of additional work (e.g., the fixing bolt 23 and the attachment of the fixing bolt to the housing 12) is required to fix the push element 4 in place.

[0064] The fixing of the push element 4 also requires a certain amount of work. For example, a section 24 for contact with the fixing bolt 23 must be formed here. This increases the material costs of the component and may require higher manufacturing costs. Another disadvantage is that the chamfer area with the fixing function is different in shape from the other chamfer areas, which may also be problematic for production.

[0065] Figure 5 The push element 4 of the adjustment device 1 is shown in a first perspective view. Figure 6 The second perspective view shows Figure 5 The pushing element 4 is described below. Figure 5 and Figure 6 . See About Figures 1 to 4 Description.

[0066] The push element 4 is a sheet metal part and has a profile 14, which is produced by shaping the sheet metal part, in order to form a positive connection with the first actuating element 13 in the transverse direction 5. The push element 4 has a plurality of drive ramps 6 and adjustment ramp elements 7 in the transverse direction 5 relative to the actuating direction 3.

[0067] The push element 4 is designed as a disk-shaped element with a rotation axis. The push element 4 can be moved in the adjustment device 1 along the actuation direction 3. The push element 4 is connected to the first actuation element 13 of the adjustment device 1 via a profile 14, so that the push element 4 is fixed in the transverse direction 5, i.e. cannot rotate in the transverse direction 5.

[0068] The push element 4 has a plurality of drive ramps 6 and adjustment ramp elements 7 along a transverse direction 5 (here a circumferential direction), each of which is distributed at equal intervals. The drive ramps 6 are arranged on the outer edge of the push element 4 along a radial direction 25.
